  • Page 2: IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS This Quick Start and Safety Guide explains the basics of operating your dishwasher. To avoid floor damage and possible mold growth, do not allow wet areas to remain around or under the dishwasher. Keep detergents or rinsing agents out of the reach of children. Do not allow children to play in or on the dishwasher. When children become old enough to operate the appliance, it is the responsibility of the parents/legal guardians to ensure the children are instructed in safe practices. This indicates that death or serious injuries may occur as a result of non-observance of this warning. Use this dishwasher only for its intended function, which is the washing of household dishware and kitchenware rated as dishwasher safe. Dishwasher must be installed immediately and secured with mounting brackets to avoid tip over. Never use harsh chemicals to clean your dishwasher. It is highly recommended for the end user to become familiar with the procedure to shut off the incoming water supply and the procedure to shut off the incoming power supply.
  • Page 3: Getting started Loading tips for optimal cleaning Load sharp items (knives, skewers, etc.) pointing down to avoid injury. Always use caution when opening the door during or after a wash cycle as hot water or steam may escape. Use detergent tabs, fresh powdered detergent, or liquid detergent. For the Glass cycle, use 1-1.7 Tbsp. of detergent or detergent tabs with glassware protection. Load small plates, glasses, and cups in the upper rack. Load plates and bowls in the lower rack, tilting bowls down. Scrape off food objects in the detergent tray but do not rinse. Use rinse aid for better drying. Do not overcrowd dishes or block water to maintain wash performance.
  • Page 4: Cycles and options Rinse aid refill indicator Child lock button Wash cycle selection buttons Heavy cycle for baked-on greasy dishes Delay option allows you to start the cycle up to 24 hours later Auto sanitize adjusts time and intensity automatically by soil sensing Normal cycle for everyday load Express cycle cleans lightly soiled dishes and reduces overall wash time Delicate cycle protects delicate dishes and glasses
  • Page 5: Maintenance tips include cleaning surfaces with a damp cloth and mild soap. This dishwasher is designed to be used with rinse aid, which enhances drying results and shine. Do not use abrasives or bleach-based cleaners. Clean the filter 3-12 times a year, depending on usage. The amount of rinse aid dispensed can be adjusted in the settings. Improved drying for glasses and plastic is achieved by increasing the temperature and length. The unit turns itself off after the cycle is complete. Food may be left on dishes if there is inadequate clearance or if the filter is blocked. Sensors in the dishwasher automatically increase the cycle time for heavy soil detection. Error codes indicate specific issues, such as water in the sump due to a blocked filter.
  • Page 6: Bosch recommends not attempting to repair the product yourself or using a non-authorized service provider. Authorized service providers are specially trained on Bosch products.
