- Page 6: Product description Worktop Rinse aid dispenser Detergent dispenser Comfort Lift basket Trigger handle Lower basket handle Upper basket TimeBeam displays information on the floor below the appliance door. The programme duration when the programme begins. An alarm code when the appliance has a malfunction.
- Page 7: When AirDry is activated during the drying phase, the projection on the floor may not be completely visible. To check the remaining time of the running programme, look at the control panel display. Control panel includes various buttons such as on/off, display, program touch button, delay touch button, MyFavourite touch button, TimeManager touch button, XtraDry touch button, and hygiene touch button. Indicators provide important information, including the salt indicator, which is on when the salt container needs refilling, and the rinse aid indicator, which is on when the rinse aid dispenser needs refilling. The programmes section outlines different washing programmes, including ECO and AutoFlex, detailing the degree of soil, type of load, programme phases, and available options. ECO programme is suitable for normal soil and is designed for crockery and cutlery, featuring phases like prewash, wash at 50 °C, rinses, and drying options like hygiene and XtraDry. AutoFlex programme accommodates all types of loads, including crockery, cutlery, pots, and pans, with a washing temperature range from 45 °C to 70 °C, and includes similar phases and options as the ECO programme.
- Page 8: Programme overview includes various settings for different types of soil and load. FlexiWash is suitable for mixed soil with crockery, cutlery, pots, and pans. The appliance adjusts temperature and water quantity based on soil degree and item quantity. Intensive programme is designed for heavily soiled items with high water pressure and temperature. Normal or light soil can be washed with delicate crockery and glassware using a specific programme. Quick Plus programme is for fresh or light soil and operates in a short time. Rinse & Hold programme quickly rinses off food remains to prevent odours. Consumption values detail water usage, energy consumption, and duration for each programme. ECO programme is the most efficient for normal soil, recommended by test institutes. AutoFlex programme adjusts water and energy use based on load size.
- Page 9: Water and energy consumption details for various programmes are provided. The pressure, temperature, mains supply variations, options, and quantity of dishes can affect the values. For performance tests, contact the relevant email for necessary information. Refer to the service book for any other questions regarding the dishwasher. The appliance enters programme selection mode when the display shows programme number P1. In programme selection mode, users can set a programme and enter user mode. Settings available in user mode include water softener level, rinse aid notifications, and rinse aid dosage. To enter user mode, ensure the appliance is in programme selection mode and press specific buttons. The appliance saves settings, eliminating the need for reconfiguration before each cycle. User mode allows activation or deactivation of features like AirDry and acoustic signals.
- Page 10: The water softener should be adjusted according to the hardness of the water in your area. It is important to set the right level of the water softener to assure good washing results. The water softener removes minerals from the water supply, which would have a negative effect on the washing results and on the appliance. Water hardness is measured in equivalent scales. Regardless of the type of detergent used, set the proper water hardness level to keep the salt refill indicator active. Multi-tabs containing salt are not effective enough to soften hard water. Make sure the appliance is in user mode. The rinse aid helps to dry the dishes without streaks and stains. The display shows the current setting. Press the on/off button to confirm the setting.
- Page 11: The display shows the current setting, e.g., level 4. The levels of rinse aid range from 0A to 6A where 0A means no rinse aid is used. When the rinse aid chamber is empty, the rinse aid indicator is turned on notifying to refill rinse aid. For best drying performance, always use rinse aid. Acoustic signals sound when a malfunction of the appliance occurs. There is an acoustic signal that sounds when the programme is completed. Make sure the appliance is in user mode to change settings. It is possible to set the released quantity of rinse aid between level 1 and level 6. Factory setting for rinse aid level is level 4. The TimeBeam can be changed to match the colour of the kitchen floor and can also be deactivated.
- Page 12: The indicators are off. If children have access to the appliance, it is advised to deactivate AirDry as opening the door may pose a danger. AirDry improves the drying results with less energy consumption. This option allows to set and save the most frequently used programme. It is possible to save only 1 programme. During the drying phase, the door opens automatically and remains ajar. Do not try to close the appliance door within 2 minutes after automatic opening. If the door is closed for another 3 minutes, the running programme ends. AirDry is automatically activated with all programmes excluding Rinse & Hold. To improve the drying performance refer to the XtraDry option or activate AirDry.
- Page 13: Options must be activated every time before starting a programme. It is not possible to activate or deactivate options while a programme is running. The TimeManager allows reducing the duration of a selected programme by approximately 50%. Not all options are compatible with each other. If you select non-compatible options, the appliance automatically deactivates one or more of them. The washing results are the same as with the normal programme duration, but drying results can decrease. By default, TimeManager is off, but it can be activated manually. XtraDry boosts the drying performance and is a permanent option for all programmes other than ECO. The Hygiene option provides better hygiene results by keeping the temperature at 70 °C for at least 10 minutes during the last rinsing phase. Activating XtraDry deactivates TimeManager and vice versa.
- Page 14: Before first use Make sure that the current level of the water softener agrees with the hardness of the water supply. Fill the salt container. Fill the rinse aid dispenser. Start a programme to remove any processing residuals that can still be inside the appliance. Use rough salt designed for dishwashers only. Water and salt can come out of the salt container when you fill it. After you fill the salt container, immediately start the shortest programme to prevent corrosion. The salt is used to recharge the resin in the water softener. Make sure that the Comfort Lift basket is empty and locked in the raised position. Put 1 litre of water in the salt container (only for the first time).
- Page 15: How to fill the rinse aid Only use rinse aid designed specifically for dishwashers. Fill the dispenser until the rinse aid reaches the marking MAX. Remove the spilled rinse aid with an absorbent cloth to prevent excessive foam formation. Close the lid and ensure it locks into position. Fill the rinse aid dispenser when the indicator is clear. Daily use Open the water tap. Press the on/off button to activate the appliance. Ensure items do not stick out of the basket frame to avoid damage. The Comfort Lift mechanism allows easy loading and unloading of dishes. If the salt indicator is on, fill the salt container. If the rinse aid indicator is on, fill the rinse aid dispenser. Comfort Lift Do not sit on the rack or put excessive pressure on the locked basket. Do not exceed the max load capacity of 18 kg. The basket is automatically locked on the upper level.
- Page 16: Carefully place items in the basket or remove them. Lower the basket by connecting the trigger handle with the basket frame. Put the detergent, in powder or tablets, in the compartment. If the programme has a prewash phase, put a small quantity of detergent on the inner part of the appliance door. Press the on/off button to activate the appliance. Press repeatedly until the display shows the number of the chosen programme. To select the MyFavourite programme, press the designated button. Set the applicable options before starting the programme. During the countdown, it is possible to increase the delay time but not to change the programme and options. Only use detergent specifically designed for dishwashers.
- Page 17: Make sure that there is detergent in the detergent dispenser before you start a new programme. Opening the door while a programme is running stops the appliance and may affect energy consumption and programme duration. When the programme is complete, the display shows 0:00, and all buttons are inactive except for the on/off button. If the door is opened for more than 30 seconds during the drying phase, the running programme ends. The Auto Off function decreases energy consumption by automatically deactivating the appliance when it is not operating. You can use dishwasher detergent, rinse aid, and salt separately or use multi-tablets. Select a programme according to the type of load and the degree of soil. Remove larger residues of food from the dishes into the waste bin and do not pre-rinse dishes by hand. Always use the whole space of the baskets and ensure items do not touch or cover each other. Only use salt, rinse aid, and detergent specifically designed for dishwashers.
- Page 18: In areas with hard and very hard water, it is recommended to use plain dishwasher detergent, rinse aid, and salt separately for optimal cleaning and drying results. Soak cookware with burnt-on food before washing it in the appliance. Put hollow items with the opening facing downwards. Run the appliance with the use of appliance cleaner at least once a month. Detergent tablets do not fully dissolve with short programmes; use them with long programmes to prevent detergent residues. Make sure that glasses do not touch each other and put light items in the upper basket. Put cutlery and small items in the cutlery drawer and ensure that the spray arms can move freely before starting a programme. Before starting a programme, ensure that the filters are clean, the cap of the salt container is tight, and there is enough salt and rinse aid. Let the tableware cool down before removing it from the appliance to avoid damage. Remove items from the lower basket first, then from the upper basket.
- Page 19: Care and cleaning Before maintenance, deactivate the appliance and disconnect the mains plug from the main socket. Dirty filters and clogged spray arms decrease the washing results. Make a check regularly and, if necessary, clean them. The filter system is made of 3 parts. Make sure that there are no residues of food or soil in or around the edge of the sump. Put back in place the flat filter (A). Make sure that it is correctly positioned under the 2 guides. Turn the filter (B) counterclockwise and remove it. Reassemble the filters (B) and (C). Put back the filter (B) in the flat filter (A). Turn it clockwise until it locks.
- Page 20: To install the spray arm back, press the spray arm upwards and simultaneously turn it counterclockwise until it locks into place. An incorrect position of the filters can cause bad washing results and damage to the appliance. We recommend to clean the upper spray arm regularly to prevent soil from clogging the holes. Clogged holes can cause unsatisfactory washing results. Clean the appliance with a moist soft cloth. Only use neutral detergents. Do not use abrasive products, abrasive cleaning pads or solvents. Carefully clean the appliance, including the rubber gasket of the door, with a soft damp cloth. To maintain the performance of your appliance, use a cleaning product designed specifically for dishwashers at least once a month. Wash the spray arm under running water. Use a thin pointed tool, e.g. a toothpick, to remove particles of soil from the holes. Do not use abrasive products, abrasive cleaning pads, sharp tools, strong chemicals, scourer or solvents.
- Page 21: Limescale buildup inside the appliance can be prevented by running long-duration programs at least twice a month. Improper repair of the appliance may pose a danger to the safety of the user. Any repairs must be performed by qualified personnel. The display may show an alarm code for some problems. The majority of problems can be solved without the need for service. Ensure the mains plug is connected to the mains socket if the appliance cannot be activated. Make sure the appliance door is closed if the program does not start. Check that the water tap is open if the appliance does not fill with water. Ensure the sink spigot is not clogged if the appliance does not drain the water. The appliance stopping and starting during operation is normal for optimal cleaning results and energy savings.
- Page 22: Problem and alarm code Possible cause and solution The programme lasts too long. If the delay start option is set, cancel the delay setting or wait for the end of the countdown. Activate the TimeManager option to reduce the programme duration. Activating options can increase the programme duration. Small leak from the appliance door. The appliance is not levelled. Loosen or tighten the adjustable feet. The appliance door is not centred on the tub. Adjust the rear foot. The appliance door is difficult to close. Parts of the tableware are protruding from the baskets. The tableware is not properly arranged in the baskets. The appliance trips the circuit-breaker. Check the socket amperage and the capacity of the meter or turn off one of the appliances in use. For alarm codes not described in the table, contact an Authorised Service Centre. Poor washing results. Use more intensive washing programmes. Clean spray arm jets and the filter.
- Page 23: Problem Possible cause and solution Poor drying results. Tableware has been left for too long inside the closed appliance. There is no rinse aid or the dosage of rinse aid is not sufficient. Adjust the rinse aid level to a higher level. Plastic items may need to be towel dried. For the best drying performance, activate XtraDry and AirDry. We recommend to always use rinse aid, even in combination with multi-tablets. There are whitish streaks or bluish layers on glasses and dishes. The released quantity of rinse aid is too high. Adjust the rinse aid level to a lower level. The quantity of detergent is too high. The rinse aid dispenser is empty. The quality of the rinse aid can be the cause.
- Page 24: Limescale deposits on the tableware, on the tub and on the inside of the door may be caused by low salt levels or hard tap water. Check the salt indicator and ensure the cap of the salt container is secure. Use salt and set regeneration of the water softener even when using multi-functional tablets. If limescale persists, clean the appliance with suitable appliance cleaners. Dull, discolored, or chipped tableware may result from washing non-dishwasher-safe items. Load and unload the basket carefully and place delicate items in the upper basket. Select the dedicated program for washing delicate items and glassware. Refer to sections on Before first use, Daily use, or Hints and tips for additional causes. Technical information includes dimensions, electrical connection, and water supply pressure. The appliance has a capacity of 13 place settings and specific power consumption values for left-on and off modes.
