Crockery, cutlery, pots, pans with normal to heavy dried-on soil undergo prewash, dishwashing at 60 °C, intermediate rinse, final rinse at 60 °C, and drying with AirDry. Crockery, cutlery, pots, pans with normal, lightly dried-on soil undergo dishwashing at 60 °C, intermediate rinse, final rinse at 55 °C, and drying with AirDry. Crockery, cutlery with fresh soil undergo dishwashing at 50 °C, intermediate rinse, final rinse at 50 °C, and AirDry. This programme offers the most efficient use of water and energy consumption for crockery and cutlery with normal soil. This is the standard programme for test institutes to assess compliance with the Ecodesign Commission Regulation (EU) 2019/2022. With this programme, you can quickly rinse off food remains from dishes and prevent odours forming in the appliance. The pressure and the temperature of the water, the variations of the mains supply, the options, the quantity of dishes, and the degree of soil can change the values. The values for programmes other than ECO are indicative only.
  • Page 8: Information for test institutes To receive the necessary information for conducting performance tests, send an email including the product number code from the rating plate. Settings After activation, the appliance is in programme selection mode by default. Programme selection mode and user mode When the appliance is in programme selection mode, it is possible to set a programme and enter user mode. The water softener The water softener removes minerals from the water supply, which would have a negative effect on the washing results and on the appliance. Water hardness The water softener should be adjusted according to the hardness of the water in your area. Set the right level of the water softener to assure good washing results. Water hardness is measured in equivalent scales. Activation or deactivation of the rinse aid empty notification. Activation or deactivation of the AirDry. As the appliance stores the saved settings, there is no need to configure it before every cycle.
  • Page 9: Water softener levels are categorized by different measurement units. The factory setting requires no salt usage at certain levels. Proper water hardness levels must be set to keep the salt refill indicator active. High water softener settings may trigger regeneration during a program, affecting cycle duration. Regeneration prolongs the total duration of a program by an additional 5 minutes if it occurs mid-cycle. Multi-tabs containing salt are insufficient for softening hard water. The resin in the water softener needs regular regeneration for proper operation. Rinsing of the water softener may increase total water and energy consumption during a program. A new regeneration process is initiated based on the quantity of water used since the last regeneration. Each softener rinse can extend the program duration by 5 minutes if it occurs at any point during the cycle.
  • Page 10: How to set the water softener level How to deactivate the rinse aid empty notification The appliance must be in programme selection mode. Make sure that the programme marker on the knob is in the on/off position. To enter the user mode, press and hold. Turn the knob counterclockwise until the programme marker indicates the first programme. The intermittent flashing of the current setting shows the current setting. Press to change the setting. The rinse aid helps to dry the dishes without streaks and stains. AirDry improves the drying results with less energy consumption.
  • Page 11: The duration of the drying phase and the door opening time vary depending on the selected programme and options. Make sure that the programme marker on the knob is set to the on/off position. Do not try to close the appliance door within 2 minutes after automatic opening. This can cause damage to the appliance. If children have access to the appliance, we advise to deactivate AirDry. The automatic opening of the door may pose a danger. Make sure that the current level of the water softener agrees with the hardness of the water supply. Use rough salt designed for dishwashers only. Fine salt increases the risk of corrosion. Start a programme to remove any processing residuals that can still be inside the appliance. The salt is used to recharge the resin in the water softener and to assure good washing results in daily use. Put 1 litre of water in the salt container (only for the first time). Fill the salt container with 1 kg of salt (until it is full).
  • Page 12: Caution: The compartment is for rinse aid only. Do not fill it with detergent. Only use rinse aid designed specifically for dishwashers. Press the release button to open the lid. Fill the dispenser until the rinse aid reaches the marking MAX. Remove the spilled rinse aid with an absorbent cloth to prevent excessive foam formation. Close the lid and ensure that the release button locks into position. You can turn the selector of the released quantity between position 1 and position 4 or 6. Water and salt can come out of the salt container when you fill it. After you fill the salt container, immediately start a programme to prevent corrosion. Open the water tap.
  • Page 13: Setting and starting a programme requires selecting the correct programme for the load and soil degree. If the salt indicator is on, fill the salt container. If the rinse aid indicator is on, fill the rinse aid dispenser. Open the water tap and close the appliance door before starting. Load the baskets and add the detergent. The on/off indicator and start indicator should be on for the programme to start. To delay the start of the programme, set a programme and press the delay start button. Only use detergent specifically designed for dishwashers. Make sure there is detergent in the dispenser before starting a new programme. For normal soil, 20 - 25 ml of gel detergent is usually adequate.
  • Page 14: Opening the door while a programme is running stops the appliance and may affect energy consumption and programme duration. After closing the door, the appliance continues from the point of interruption. The Auto Off function decreases energy consumption by deactivating the appliance when it is not operating. The function comes into operation when the programme is complete or after 5 minutes if a programme was not started. If the door is opened for more than 30 seconds during the drying phase, the running programme ends, except when opened by the AirDry function. When the programme is complete, the Auto Off function switches the appliance off. Do not try to close the appliance door within 2 minutes after AirDry automatically opens it as this may cause damage to the appliance. Soak or slightly scour cookware with firmly cooked-on or baked-on food before washing it in the appliance. Make sure that items in the baskets do not touch or cover each other to ensure complete washing. You can use dishwasher detergent, rinse aid, and salt separately or use multi-tablets. Washing dishes in the dishwasher usually consumes less water and energy than washing dishes by hand.
  • Page 15: Follow the instructions in the chapter Care and cleaning. Adjust the water softener according to the water hardness in your area. Only use salt, rinse aid, and detergent designed for dishwashers. In areas with hard water, use basic dishwasher detergent, rinse aid, and salt separately for optimal results. Detergent tablets do not fully dissolve with short programmes. Always use the correct quantity of detergent to avoid poor cleaning results. Insufficient dosage of rinse aid decreases drying results. Always use the whole space of the baskets for loading. Do not wash items that can absorb water in the dishwasher. Make sure that the spray arms can move freely before starting a programme.
  • Page 16: Reassemble the filters (B) and (C). Put back the filter (B) in the flat filter (A). Turn it clockwise until it locks. Remove the filter (C) out of filter (B). Remove the flat filter (A). Wash the filters. An incorrect position of the filters can cause bad washing results and damage to the appliance. We recommend to clean the lower spray arm regularly to prevent soil from clogging the holes. Clogged holes can cause unsatisfactory washing results. Make sure that there are no residues of food or soil in or around the edge of the sump. Put back in place the flat filter (A). Make sure that it is correctly positioned under the 2 guides.
  • Page 17: To install the spray arm back, press it downwards. Wash the spray arm under running water. Use a thin pointed tool, e.g. a toothpick, to remove particles of soil from the holes. Do not remove the upper spray arm. If the openings in the spray arm are clogged, remove the remaining particles of soil with a thin pointed object, e.g. a toothpick. Improper repair of the appliance may pose a danger to the safety of the user. Any repairs must be performed by qualified personnel. Refer to the below table for information on possible problems. With some problems, the dedicated indicator flashes intermittently to indicate a malfunction and the alarm code. The majority of problems that can occur can be solved without the need. Make sure that the mains plug is connected to the mains socket. Make sure that there is no damaged fuse in the fuse box.
  • Page 18: Problem and alarm code The programme does not start. Make sure that the appliance door is closed. Press the start button.
