  • Page 7: Control panel On/off button Option touch button Indicators Start touch button Program touch button Programme indicators Display Salt indicator. It is on when the salt container needs refilling. Rinse aid indicator. It is on when the rinse aid dispenser needs refilling.
  • Page 8: Programmes The order of the programmes in the table may not reflect their sequence on the control panel. Crockery, cutlery, pots, pans can be washed using various programmes. Dishwashing temperatures range from 45 °C to 70 °C depending on the programme. Options such as ExtraPower, GlassCare, and ExtraHygiene are available for enhanced cleaning. Prewash and drying phases are included in multiple programmes. Intermediate rinse and final rinse are standard phases in the dishwashing process. AirDry is an option that can be selected for drying. Different programmes cater to varying levels of soil and load types. Cleaning the appliance interior is also a programme option.
  • Page 9: Programme dishwasher degree of programme phases This programme offers the most efficient use of water and energy consumption for crockery and cutlery with normal soil. This is the standard programme for test institutes. This programme is used to assess compliance with the Ecodesign Commission Regulation (EU) 2019/2022. The appliance senses the degree of soil and the quantity of items in the baskets. This programme is designed to clean the inside of the appliance effectively and efficiently. It removes limescale and grease buildup. The programme should be run at least once every 2 months with a descaler or a cleaning product designed for dishwashers and without any load. With this programme, you can quickly rinse off food remains from dishes and prevent odours forming in the appliance. The pressure and the temperature of the water, the variations of the mains supply, the options, the quantity of dishes and the degree of soil can change the values. The values for programmes other than ECO are indicative only.
  • Page 10: Options prevent rapid changes in the dishwashing temperature of the selected programme and reduces it to 45 °C. Desired options must be activated every time before you start a programme. It is not possible to activate or deactivate options while a programme is running. ExtraPower improves the dishwashing results of the selected programme by increasing the wash temperature and duration. Not all options are compatible with each other, and the appliance automatically deactivates non-compatible options. ExtraHygiene provides better cleaning results by keeping the temperature between 65 and 70 °C for at least 10 minutes during the last rinsing phase. Activating options can affect water and energy consumption as well as programme duration. The appliance stores the saved settings, eliminating the need to configure it before every cycle. In programme selection mode, it is possible to set a programme and enter user mode. Settings available in user mode include the level of water softener, the level of rinse aid, and activation or deactivation of the AirDry.
  • Page 11: After activation, the appliance is in programme selection mode by default. The water softener removes minerals from the water supply, which would have a negative effect on the washing results and on the appliance. Water hardness is measured in equivalent scales. The water softener should be adjusted according to the hardness of the water in your area. Set the right level of the water softener to assure good washing results. To enter user mode, press and hold simultaneously the indicators until the display is blank. Regardless of the type of detergent used, set the proper water hardness level to keep the salt refill indicator active. The resin of the softener device needs to be regenerated regularly. A new regeneration process will be initiated between the final rinse and the programme end. Multi-tabs containing salt are not effective enough to soften hard water.
  • Page 12: All the consumption values mentioned in this section are determined in line with the currently applicable standard in laboratory conditions with water hardness 2.5mmol/L. The pressure and the temperature of water as well as the variations of the mains supply can change the values. Make sure the appliance is in user mode. In case of the high water softener setting, regeneration initiation has no impact on the cycle duration, unless it occurs in the middle of a programme or at the end of a programme with a short drying phase. The rinse aid helps to dry the dishes without streaks and stains. You can set the released quantity of rinse aid between level 1 (minimum quantity) and level 6 (maximum quantity). When the rinse aid chamber is empty, the rinse aid indicator is on, notifying to refill rinse aid. For the best drying performance, always use rinse aid and keep the rinse aid indicator active. To deactivate the rinse aid dispenser and indicator, set the level of rinse aid to 0.
  • Page 13: When AirDry opens the door, the display shows the remaining time of the running programme. Make sure the appliance is in user mode. Do not try to close the appliance door within 2 minutes after automatic opening. This can cause damage to the appliance. If children have access to the appliance, we advise to deactivate AirDry. The automatic opening of the door may pose a danger. AirDry improves the drying results with less energy consumption. The appliance door opens automatically during the drying phase and remains ajar. Make sure the appliance is in user mode. The duration of the drying phase and the door opening time vary depending on the selected programme and options. Make sure that the current level of the water softener agrees with the hardness of the water supply. After starting the programme, the appliance recharges the resin in the water softener for up to 5 minutes.
  • Page 14: The salt container The salt is used to recharge the resin in the water softener and to assure good washing results in daily use. Turn the cap of the salt container counterclockwise and remove it. Put 1 litre of water in the salt container (only for the first time). Fill the salt container with dishwasher salt (until it is full). The compartment is for rinse aid only. Do not fill it with detergent. Only use rinse aid designed specifically for dishwashers. Fill the dispenser until the rinse aid reaches the marking MAX. Remove the spilled rinse aid with an absorbent cloth to prevent excessive foam formation. Water and salt can come out of the salt container when you fill it. After you fill the salt container, immediately start the shortest programme to prevent corrosion.
  • Page 15: Daily use involves several steps to operate the appliance effectively. Open the water tap before starting the appliance. Press the on/off button to activate the appliance and ensure it is in programme selection mode. Load the baskets and add the appropriate detergent. If the salt indicator is on, fill the salt container; if the rinse aid indicator is on, fill the rinse aid dispenser. Set and start a programme suitable for the type of load and the degree of soil. Only use detergent specifically designed for dishwashers. The display shows the programme duration once a programme is selected. For programmes with a prewash phase, add a small quantity of detergent on the inner part of the appliance door. To start a programme with a delay, set the desired delay time from 1 to 24 hours. Make sure the lid locks into position after adding detergent.
  • Page 16: The remaining time counts down. Cancelling the programme involves opening the appliance door and pressing specific buttons. Make sure that there is detergent in the detergent dispenser before starting a new programme. Opening the door while a programme is running stops the appliance and may affect energy consumption and programme duration. When the programme is complete, the Auto Off function switches the appliance off automatically. If the door is opened for more than 30 seconds during the drying phase, the running programme ends. The Auto Off function decreases energy consumption by deactivating the appliance when it is not operating. Do not pre-rinse dishes by hand, as it increases water and energy consumption. Remove larger residues of food from the dishes before putting them inside the appliance. Washing dishes in the dishwasher usually consumes less water and energy than washing dishes by hand.
  • Page 17: Using salt, rinse aid and detergent You can use dishwasher detergent, rinse aid and salt separately or you can use the multi-tablets. Follow the instructions on the packaging. Make sure that the water softener level is correct. If the level is too high, the increased quantity of salt in the water might result in rust on cutlery. Select a programme according to the type of load and the degree of soil. Only use salt, rinse aid and detergent designed for dishwasher. Other products can cause damage to the appliance. In areas with hard and very hard water, we recommend using basic dishwasher detergent, rinse aid and salt separately for optimal cleaning and drying results. Always use the correct quantity of detergent. Insufficient dosage can result in poor cleaning results and hard-water filming. Always use the correct quantity of rinse aid. Insufficient dosage decreases the drying results. Loading the baskets Always use the whole space of the baskets. Use the appliance to wash dishwasher-safe items only. Put hollow items with the opening facing downwards.
  • Page 18: The correct quantity of detergent is used. Before you start the selected programme, make sure that: Let the tableware cool down before you remove it from the appliance. Hot items can be easily damaged. First remove items from the lower basket, then from the upper basket. The filters are clean and correctly installed. The arrangement of the items in the baskets is correct. Before maintenance, deactivate the appliance and disconnect the mains plug from the main socket. Check the filters and the sump after each use of the dishwasher. Clean the appliance interior with a soft damp cloth. To maintain the performance of your appliance, use a cleaning product designed for dishwashers at least once every two months. The filter system is made of 3 parts.
  • Page 19: Make sure that there are no residues of food or soil in or around the edge of the sump. Put back in place the flat filter (A). Make sure that it is correctly positioned under the 2 guides. Turn the filter (B) counterclockwise and remove it. Reassemble the filters (B) and (C). Put back the filter (B) in the flat filter (A). Turn it clockwise until it locks. Remove the filter (C) out of filter (B). Remove the flat filter (A). Wash the filters. An incorrect position of the filters can cause bad washing results and damage to the appliance.
