- Page 9: Dishwasher programme offers the most efficient use of water and energy consumption for crockery and cutlery with normal soil. This is the standard programme for test institutes. The appliance senses the degree of soil and the quantity of items in the baskets. It automatically adjusts the temperature and the quantity of water, the energy consumption and the programme duration. This programme is designed to clean the inside of the appliance effectively and efficiently. It removes limescale and grease buildup. The programme should be run at least once every 2 months with a descaler or a cleaning product designed for dishwashers and without any load. With this programme, you can quickly rinse off food remains from dishes and prevent odours forming in the appliance. The pressure and the temperature of the water, the variations of the mains supply, the options, the quantity of dishes and the degree of soil can change the values. The values for programmes other than ECO are indicative only.
- Page 10: In your request, include the product number code from the rating plate. For any other questions regarding your dishwasher, refer to the service book provided with your appliance. Options prevent rapid changes in the dishwashing temperature of the selected programme and reduces it to 45 °C. Desired options must be activated every time before you start a programme. It is not possible to activate or deactivate options while a programme is running. This option improves the dishwashing results of the selected programme. If an option is not applicable to a programme, the related indicator is off or it flashes quickly for a few seconds and then goes out. This option provides better cleaning results by keeping the temperature between 65 and 70 °C for at least 10 minutes during the last rinsing phase. Settings available in the user mode include programme selection mode and user mode. The level of water softener according to the water hardness can be set in user mode.
- Page 11: Activation or deactivation of the AirDry. The water softener removes minerals from the water supply, which would have a negative effect on the washing results and on the appliance. The higher the content of these minerals, the harder your water is. The water softener should be adjusted according to the hardness of the water in your area. Set the right level of the water softener to assure good washing results. Softening hard water increases the consumption of water and energy as well as the programme duration. To enter user mode, press and hold simultaneously until the indicators flash. Water hardness is measured in equivalent scales. The higher the level of water softener, the higher the consumption and the longer the duration. Do not use salt at this level.
- Page 12: Regardless of the type of detergent used, set the proper water hardness level to keep the salt refill indicator active. AirDry improves the drying results with less energy consumption. The appliance door opens automatically during the drying phase and remains ajar. The rinse aid helps to dry the dishes without streaks and stains. It is automatically released during the final rinse. When the rinse aid chamber is empty, the rinse aid indicator turns on. For best drying performance, always use rinse aid. If standard detergent or multi-tablets without rinse aid are used, activate the notification to keep the rinse aid refill indicator active. If children have access to the appliance, we advise deactivating AirDry. Do not try to close the appliance door within 2 minutes after automatic opening. Make sure the appliance is in user mode to change settings. The display shows the current setting.
- Page 13: The indicator still flashes. Press to change the setting. The remaining indicators are off. Press the on/off button to confirm the setting. The display shows the current setting: AirDry is deactivated or activated. Before first use, ensure the current level of the water softener agrees with the hardness of the water supply. Fill the salt container and rinse aid dispenser. Start a programme to remove any processing residuals inside the appliance without detergent or dishes. Use only regeneration salt for dishwashers; do not use kitchen salt. Water and salt can come out of the salt container when filling; start a complete dishwashing cycle immediately after filling.
- Page 14: How to fill the rinse aid dispenser Only use rinse aid designed specifically for dishwashers. Press the release button to open the lid. Fill the dispenser until the rinse aid reaches the marking MAX. Remove the spilled rinse aid with an absorbent cloth to prevent excessive foam formation. Close the lid. Make sure that the release button locks into position. The compartment is for rinse aid only. Do not fill it with detergent. Daily use Open the water tap. Press the on/off button to activate the appliance. Only use detergent specifically designed for dishwashers.
- Page 15: Energy consumption and the programme duration are important aspects of appliance operation. The Auto off function decreases energy consumption by deactivating the appliance when not in use. If the door is opened for more than 30 seconds during the drying phase, the running programme ends. The function activates when the programme is complete or after 5 minutes if no programme was started. Do not close the appliance door within 2 minutes after AirDry opens it to avoid damage. Starting a programme involves pressing the on/off button, closing the door, and selecting the desired programme. Cancelling the delay start requires setting a programme and options again. The display shows the programme duration and the countdown in minutes. When the programme is complete, the Auto off function switches the appliance off automatically. Opening the door while a programme is running stops the appliance and may affect operation.
- Page 16: Hints and tips for optimal cleaning and drying results include using salt, rinse aid, and detergent specifically designed for dishwashers. In areas with hard water, it is recommended to use basic dishwasher detergent, rinse aid, and salt separately for better results. Washing dishes in the dishwasher typically consumes less water and energy than hand washing. Load the dishwasher to full capacity and arrange items as instructed to save water and energy. Do not pre-rinse dishes by hand, as it increases water and energy consumption. Detergent tablets may not dissolve fully with short programs; use long programs to prevent residues. Remove larger food residues before washing and soak or scour cookware with tough stains. Ensure items do not touch or cover each other in the baskets for effective cleaning. Use the correct quantity of detergent and rinse aid to avoid poor cleaning results and spotting. Adjust detergent amounts based on water hardness and follow packaging instructions.
- Page 17: When the programme is complete, adjust the water softener according to the water hardness in your area. Before you start the selected programme, make sure that the filters are clean and correctly installed. The cap of the salt container is tight. The spray arms are not clogged. There is enough salt and rinse aid (unless you use multi-tablets). Always use the whole space of the baskets. Use the appliance to wash dishwasher-safe items only. Let the tableware cool down before you remove it from the appliance. Do not use abrasive products, abrasive cleaning pads, sharp tools, strong chemicals, scourer or solvents. To maintain the performance of your appliance, use a cleaning product designed for dishwashers at least once every two months.
- Page 18: External cleaning Clean the appliance with a moist soft cloth. Only use neutral detergents. Do not use abrasive products, abrasive cleaning pads or solvents. Cleaning the filters The filter system is made of 3 parts. Make sure that there are no residues of food or soil in or around the edge of the sump. Put back in place the flat filter (A). Make sure that it is correctly positioned under the 2 guides. Turn the filter (B) counterclockwise and remove it. Reassemble the filters (B) and (C). Put back the filter (B) in the flat filter (A). Turn it clockwise until it locks. Remove the filter (C) out of filter (B).
- Page 19: Caution regarding installation and maintenance of spray arms. Incorrect position of filters can lead to poor washing results and appliance damage. Regular cleaning of the lower spray arm is recommended to prevent clogging. Clogged holes in the spray arm can cause unsatisfactory washing results. To remove the lower spray arm, pull it upwards. Do not remove the upper spray arm; clean clogged openings with a thin pointed object. Regular cleaning of the ceiling spray arm is also recommended to prevent clogging. Wash the spray arm under running water to remove soil particles. Use a thin pointed tool to clear particles from the holes. The ceiling spray arm is installed in the delivery tube with a mounting element.
- Page 20: Wash the spray arm under running water. Use a thin pointed tool to remove particles of soil from the holes. Run the water through the holes to wash soil particles away from the inside. Release the stoppers on the sides of the sliding rails of the cutlery drawer and pull the drawer out. To install the spray arm back, insert the mounting element in the spray arm and fix it in the delivery tube by turning it clockwise. Install the cutlery drawer on the sliding rails and block the stoppers. Move the upper basket to the lowest level to reach the spray arm more easily. To detach the spray arm from the delivery tube, turn the mounting element counterclockwise. Refer to the below table for information on possible problems. Improper repair of the appliance may pose a danger to the safety of the user.
