- Page 2: IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS To avoid floor damage and possible mold growth, do not allow wet areas to remain around or under the dishwasher. This Quick Start and Safety Guide explains the basics of operating your dishwasher and those safety measures that must be followed. Keep detergents or rinsing agents out of the reach of children. To reduce risk of injury, do not allow children to play in or on the dishwasher. When loading items to be washed, locate sharp items so they are not likely to damage the door seal. Dishwasher must be installed immediately and secured with mounting brackets to avoid tip over. Use this dishwasher only for its intended function, which is the washing of household dishware and kitchenware rated as dishwasher safe. End of Life Disposal - Remove the dishwasher door to the washing compartment when removing an old dishwasher from service or discarding. Misuse of the dishwasher can result in serious injury or death. It is highly recommended for the end user to become familiar with the procedure to shut off the incoming water supply and the procedure to shut off the incoming power supply.
- Page 3: Getting started Connect your appliance to the Home Connect app for convenient settings adjustment and additional cycles. Loading tips for optimal cleaning can be found by scanning the provided code. Use detergent tabs, fresh powdered detergent, or liquid detergent, with powdered or liquid preferred for quick cycles. Load sharp items pointing down to avoid injury. Always use caution when opening the door during or after a wash cycle due to hot water or steam. This dishwasher is designed to be used with rinse aid to enhance drying results and shine. The amount of rinse aid dispensed can be adjusted in the settings. Press the On/Off button to start your dishwasher, select a cycle, and then press Start. The door must be shut within 4 seconds after pressing Start to avoid pausing the operation.
- Page 4: Cycles and options include various settings for different types of dishes and levels of dirt. The sanitize option increases cycle length and temperature for disinfection. Heavy cycle is designed for baked-on and greasy dishes, featuring a longer cycle and higher temperature. AutoAir® is an energy-efficient drying option where the door opens at the end of the cycle. The auto option adjusts time and intensity automatically based on soil sensing. Delay allows you to postpone the start of the cycle for up to 24 hours. Normal cycle is intended for everyday loads to save energy and water. Speed60® offers a quick 1-hour cycle that includes drying. Favorite option provides one-touch access to a saved cycle and option combination. Remote start feature allows users to start the dishwasher from a distance using the Home Connect app.
- Page 5: FAQs Why is food remaining on dishes after I run the cycle? It is possible the dishes do not have adequate clearance between them. Why does the cycle run a long time? Sensors in the dishwasher automatically increase the cycle time to ensure a good wash when heavy soil is detected. Clean the filter 3-12 times a year, depending on usage. The simplest way to change the settings is with the Home Connect app. It is also recommended to run Machine Care program to keep the tub clean. To adjust the rinse aid: Press the Start button repeatedly until the right amount of rinse aid has been set. Use rinse aid for better drying. To turn on intensive drying: Press button A until the Clean and Sanitize lights flash. To adjust the signal volume: Press button A until the Clean and Rinse Aid lights flash. To reset to factory settings: Press button A until the Clean, Sanitize and Rinse Aid lights flash.
- Page 6: Statement of limited product warranty outlines Bosch's liability and responsibilities regarding manufacturer-defective products. Bosch recommends not attempting repairs yourself or using non-authorized service providers. Authorized service providers are specially trained on Bosch products and have a superior reputation for customer service. The limited warranty applies only to the Bosch dishwasher sold to the first using purchaser for normal household use. The warranty is valid for products purchased new at retail and not for resale or commercial use. Warranty coverage is applicable to the original purchaser and succeeding owners during the warranty term. Bosch is not obligated to provide concessions for out-of-warranty products. The warranty lasts for 365 days from the date of original purchase, covering defects in materials and workmanship. Cosmetic defects are covered for 30 days from the date of purchase, excluding certain conditions. The warranty excludes defects not directly caused by Bosch, including misuse, negligence, and failure to comply with local codes.
