Program Press this button to select the appropriate washing program, the program indicator will be lit. Start/Pause Press the button to start the selected washing program or pause the working program. Rinse Aid If the indicator is lit, it means the dishwasher is low on rinse aid and requires a refill. Salt indicator If the indicator is lit, it means the dishwasher is low on dishwasher salt and needs to be refilled. Pre-rinse To rinse dishes that you plan to wash later that day. Quick A shorter wash for lightly soiled loads that do not need drying. Normal For normally soiled loads, such as pots, plates, glasses, and lightly soiled pans. ECO This is the standard program, suitable to clean normally soiled tableware and the most efficient in terms of energy and water consumption.
- Page 9: Dishwasher features include the spray arm, filter assembly, salt container, dispenser, upper spray arm, upper basket, cutlery rack, lower basket, inlet pipe connector, and drain pipe connector.
- Page 10: Prior using for the first time Loading the salt into the salt container Always use salt intended for use with dishwashers. Only use salt specifically designed for use in dishwashers. Only fill with salt just before starting one of the complete washing programmes. Remove the basket and then unscrew and remove the cap from the salt container. Before first wash, add 1lt. of water in the salt container. The salt warning light will cease to be illuminated within 2-6 days after filling the salt container. The salt container must only be refilled when the salt warning light in the control panel comes on. The water softener must be set manually, using the water hardness dial.
- Page 11: Adjusting salt consumption allows for optimization based on water hardness. Steps for adjustment include switching on the appliance and entering the water softener setting mode. The program button is used to select the appropriate setting according to local water hardness. The factory setting for salt consumption is H4. Rinse aid is released during the final rinse to prevent water droplets on dishes. The rinse aid dispenser is located inside the door next to the detergent dispenser. Filling the rinse aid dispenser involves pouring liquid rinse aid until the level indicator turns black. The volume of the rinse aid container is approximately 110ml. Rinse aid ensures thorough rinsing and spot-free drying. Regeneration operations consume additional water and increase energy consumption.
- Page 12: Attention! Only use branded rinse aid for dishwasher. Never fill the rinse aid dispenser with any other substances. This would damage the appliance. You can judge the amount of rinse aid by the color of the optical level indicator located next to the cap. When the rinse aid container is full, the whole indicator will be dark. As the rinse aid diminishes, the size of the dark dot decreases. You should never let the rinse aid get below 1/4 full. To open the dispenser, turn the cap to the open (left) arrow and lift it out. Pour the rinse aid into the dispenser, being careful not to overfill. The rinse aid dispenser has four settings. The recommended setting is on 3. If the dishes are not drying properly or are spotted, adjust the dial to the next higher number on 4. Increase the dose if there are drops of water or lime spots on the dishes after washing. Detergents with its chemical ingredients are necessary to remove dirt, crush dirt, and transport it out of the dishwasher.
- Page 13: Normally new pulverised detergent is without phosphate. The water softener function of phosphate is not given. If detergents without phosphate were used in case of hard water, often white spots appear at dishes and glasses. Detergents without chlorine do only bleach a little. Strong and coloured spots will not be removed completely. Based on their chemical composition, dishwashers can be split into two basic types: conventional, alkaline detergents with caustic components and low alkaline concentrated detergents with natural enzymes. Detergent tablets of different brands dissolve at different speeds. Therefore, please use long programmes when using detergent tablets to ensure the complete removal of detergent residuals. The dispenser must be refilled before the start of each wash cycle. Generally, only one tablespoon of detergent is needed for a normal wash load. Always add the detergent just before starting the dishwasher, otherwise it could get damp and will not dissolve properly.
- Page 14: Dishwasher detergent is corrosive. Use only detergent specifically made for use in dishwashers. Keep your detergent fresh and dry. Fill the detergent dispenser with detergent. Observe the manufacturer's dosing and storage recommendations. Consider buying utensils that are identified as dishwasher-proof. Use a mild detergent that is described as 'kind of dishes'. Do not take glass and cutlery out of the dishwasher immediately after the programme has ended. Some types of glasses can become dull after a large number of washes. Silver and aluminium parts have a tendency to discolour during washing.
- Page 15: Starting a washing programme For best performance of the dishwasher, follow these loading guidelines. Scrape off any large amounts of leftover food. Soften remnants of burnt food in pans. It is not necessary to rinse the dishes under running water. Place objects in the dishwasher in the following way: items such as cups, glasses, pots/pans, etc. are face down. Curved items, or those with recesses, should be loaded at a slant so that water can run off. All utensils are stacked securely and cannot tip over. Load hollow items such as cups, glasses, pans etc. with the opening downwards. Dishes and items of cutlery must not lie inside one another, or cover each other. Long bladed knives stored in an upright position are a potential hazard. Loading the dishwasher to its full capacity will contribute to energy and water savings.
- Page 16: Cutlery rack: Capacity: 8 place settings Position of the upper basket: lower position Program: ECO Rinse aid setting: 6 Softener setting: H4 Maximum size of dishes in the lower basket. WARNING! Do not let any item extend through bottom. Always load sharp utensils with the sharp point down! For personal safety and quality clean, place the silverware in the basket: They do not nest together.
- Page 17: Wash cycle table provides information on programs suitable for different levels of food residue and detergent requirements. Consumption values and program duration are indicative, except for the ECO program. The ECO program is the most efficient for cleaning normally soiled tableware in terms of energy and water consumption. Starting a wash cycle involves drawing out the basket and pouring in the detergent. Ensure the power supply is connected and the water supply is turned on to full pressure. Pressing the Start/Pause button will pause the wash cycle, and the program light will stop blinking. The dishwasher will emit a sound every minute during a pause unless the Start/Reset button is pressed.
- Page 18: Changing the program mid-cycle is possible only if the dishwasher has been running for a short time. If the detergent has been released or the wash water drained, the dishwasher must be reset and the detergent dispenser refilled. To reset the dishwasher, press the Start/Pause button to pause the washing, then press the Program button for more than three seconds to enter program selection mode. After changing the program, press the Start/Pause button to resume. A forgotten dish can be added before the detergent cup opens. To add forgotten dishes, press the Start/Pause button, open the door slightly to stop the washing, and wait for the spray arms to stop before opening the door completely. At the end of the wash cycle, the buzzer will sound for 8 seconds. Turn off the appliance using the Power button, shut off the water supply, and open the door. Wait a few minutes before unloading to avoid handling hot dishes. Switch off the dishwasher by pressing the Power button and turning off the water tap. Open the door carefully and allow hot dishes to cool for about 15 minutes before removing them. It is normal for the dishwasher to be wet inside. It is dangerous to open the door during washing due to the risk of scalding from hot water.
- Page 19: Auto open feature allows the door to open automatically after washing for better drying effect. The quick and pre-rinse programs do not have the auto open function. Ensure the dishwasher door is not blocked when set to open automatically to avoid disrupting the door lock functionality. The dishwasher must be horizontally placed to prevent conflict between the door and the tub side during auto open. The filter system prevents larger food remnants from entering the pump and consists of a coarse filter, a main filter, and a fine filter. The main filter pulverizes food particles and washes them down to the drain. The fine filter holds soil and food residue to prevent it from being deposited on dishes during the wash cycle. The coarse filter traps larger items that could block the drain. Regular maintenance of the filter assembly is essential for optimal performance. Never run the dishwasher without the filters in place, as improper replacement may reduce performance and damage dishes.
- Page 20: The filter system can be removed by following steps 1 to 3, and installed by reversing the order. Inspect the filters for blocking after each use of the dishwasher. Remove any food remnants and clean the filters under running water. The entire filter assembly should be cleaned once a week. Use a cleaning brush to clean the coarse and fine filters, then reassemble and reinsert them into the dishwasher. Avoid knocking on the filters during cleaning to prevent damage. The control panel can be cleaned with a lightly dampened cloth and should be dried thoroughly. Use appliance polish wax for the exterior of the dishwasher. Do not use sharp objects, scouring pads, or harsh cleaners on any part of the dishwasher. Clean the edge around the door with a soft warm, damp cloth and avoid using spray cleaners.
- Page 21: Cleaning the spray arms is necessary to prevent clogging from hard water chemicals. To remove the upper spray arm, hold the nut and rotate the arm clockwise. Wash the arms in soapy warm water and use a soft brush to clean the jets. Select the Machine Care program to effectively clean your dishwasher. It is advised to run the Machine Care program every two weeks. After every wash, turn off the water supply and leave the door slightly open to prevent odors. Always remove the plug from the socket before cleaning or performing maintenance. To clean the exterior and rubber parts, use a cloth with warm soapy water. Periodic cleaning of seals with a damp sponge will prevent odors. The installation of pipes and electrical equipment should be done by professionals to avoid electrical shock hazards.
- Page 22: Installation preparation involves positioning the dishwasher near existing inlet and drain hoses and power cord. Choose one side of the cabinet sink to facilitate the connection of drain hoses. Position the appliance with the back against the wall and sides along adjacent cabinets or walls. The dishwasher has water supply and drain hoses that can be positioned to the right or left for proper installation. Do not use an extension cord or an adapter plug with this appliance for personal safety. Do not cut or remove the earthing connection from the power cord under any circumstances. Check the rating label for the correct voltage and connect the dishwasher to the appropriate power supply. Use a 10 amp time delay fuse or circuit breaker and provide a separate circuit for the appliance. Ensure the voltage and frequency of the power correspond to those on the rating plate before plugging in. Connect the cold water supply hose to a threaded 3/4 inch connector and ensure it is fastened tightly.
- Page 23: Connection of drain hoses Insert the drain hose into a drain pipe with a minimum diameter of 40mm, or let it run into the sink, making sure to avoid bending or crimping it. Use the special plastic support that comes with the appliance. The free end of the hose must be at a height lower than 1000mm and must not be immersed in water to avoid the back flow of it. The length of drain pipe must be less than 4m. Please securely fix the drain hose in either position A or position B.
- Page 24: Built-in installation Selecting the best location for the dishwasher is important. The installation position should be near the existing inlet and drain hoses and power cord. Ensure less than 5 mm between the top of the dishwasher and cabinet. There should be enough space to fully open the door, with a minimum of 500 mm. Disassemble the adjustable feet to better match the cabinet. If keeping the feet, the height of the hole should be more than 610 mm. Paste the protective tape to protect the cabinet from steam corrosion. The door will open automatically at the end of the washing cycle for better drying performance.
- Page 25: How to drain excess water from hoses Excess water in hoses cannot be drained directly into the sink if it is 1000mm higher from the floor. Drain excess water into a bowl or suitable container held outside and lower than the sink. The drain hose must be correctly fitted to avoid water leakage. Ensure that the water drain hose is not kinked or squashed. Water outlet If you need a drain hose extension, use a similar drain hose no longer than 4 metres. Start of dishwasher Check that the dishwasher is level and fixed properly. Ensure the inlet valve is open and connections are fully tightened. Make sure the power is switched on and the inlet and drain hoses are not knotted. Remove all packing materials and printings from the dishwasher. Troubleshooting tips Review the charts before calling for service to potentially save time. If the dishwasher doesn't start, check for a blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker. Ensure the dishwasher is turned on and the door is closed securely. Check for kinks in the drain hose and clogged filters. If the kitchen sink is clogged, you may need a plumber rather than a serviceman for the dishwasher.
- Page 26: Suds in the tub can occur from improper detergent or spilled rinse-aid. Use only special dishwasher detergent to avoid suds. If suds occur, open the dishwasher to let them evaporate and add cold water to the tub. Stained tub interiors may result from using detergent with colourant. Ensure the detergent is without colourant. To clean the interior, use a damp sponge with dishwasher detergent and wear rubber gloves. Never use any cleaner other than dishwasher detergent to avoid foaming. Rust stains on cutlery can happen if a programme was not run after adding dishwasher salt. Always run the Quick wash programme after adding salt without any crockery. Knocking noises in the wash cabinet may be caused by items obstructing the spray arm. Rearrange items if necessary. The dishes may not be clean if they were not loaded correctly or if the programme was not powerful enough. Not enough detergent dispensed can lead to unsatisfactory washing results. Use more detergent or change your detergent. Items blocking the spray arms can prevent proper cleaning. Rearrange items to ensure the spray can rotate freely. The filter combination in the base of the wash cabinet must be clean and correctly fitted to avoid blocked spray arm jets. A combination of soft water and too much detergent can lead to unsatisfactory washing results. Use less detergent if you have soft water.
- Page 27: Dishes block Re-loading the dishes properly. Load the dishwasher as suggested in the directions. The dishes are not drying. Increase the amount of rinse-aid/Refill the rinse-aid dispenser. Do not empty your dishwasher immediately after washing. Choose a programme with a long washing time. Using cutlery with a low-quality coating. If the door can’t open automatically after washing, inspect for physical barriers. If there is a malfunction, the dishwasher will display an error code.
