Page 9: Using your dishwasher Before using your dishwasher Set the water softener Loading the salt into the softener Always use salt intended for dishwasher use. The salt container is located beneath the lower basket. Only use salt specifically designed for dishwashers. Every other type of salt will damage the water softener. In case of damages caused by unsuitable salt, the manufacturer does not give any warranty. Only fill with salt before running a cycle.
Page 10: Please follow the steps below for adding dishwasher salt. Remove the lower basket and unscrew the reservoir cap. Pour in about 1.5 kg of dishwasher salt. Fill the salt container to its maximum limit with water. Screw back the cap tightly after filling the container. The salt warning light will turn off after the salt container has been filled. Start a washing program immediately after filling the salt. The salt container must only be refilled when the salt warning light comes on. If salt has spilled, run a soak or quick program to remove it.
Page 11: Adjusting the upper basket The height of the upper basket can be easily adjusted to accommodate taller dishes in either the upper or lower basket. To adjust the height of the upper rack, follow these steps: Remove the upper basket. Pull out the upper basket. Push in the upper basket. Re-attach the upper basket to upper or lower rollers.
Page 12: To raise the upper basket, just lift the upper basket at the center of each side until the basket locks into place in the upper position. To lower the upper basket, lift the adjust handles on each side to release the basket and lower it to the lower position. To make room for taller items in the upper basket, raise the cup rack upwards. You can then lean the tall glasses against it. The spikes of the lower basket are used for holding plates and a platter. They can be lowered to make more room for large items.
Page 13: Maintenance and cleaning External care Clean the door seals regularly with a soft damp cloth to remove food deposits. Food and drink residues may drip onto the sides of the dishwasher door. Any deposits should be wiped off before the door is closed. If cleaning is required, the control panel should be wiped with a soft damp cloth only. To avoid penetration of water into the door lock and electrical components, do not use a spray cleaner of any kind. Never use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads on the outer surfaces. The filtering system in the base of the wash cabinet retains coarse debris from the washing cycle. Check the condition of the filters regularly and clean the parts of the filtering system if necessary. Pictures are only for reference; different models of the filtering system and spray arms may be different.
Page 14: Coarse filter Main filter Fine filter Hold the coarse filter and rotate it anticlockwise to unlock the filter. Lift the filter upwards and out of the dishwasher. The fine filter can be pulled off the bottom of the filter assembly. Larger food remnants can be cleaned by rinsing the filter under running water. Reassemble the filters in the reverse order of the disassembly. For a more thorough clean, use a soft cleaning brush. Do not over tighten the filters. Never use the dishwasher without filters in place. Improper replacement of the filter may reduce the performance level of the appliance.
Page 15: Spray arms It is necessary to clean the spray arms regularly for hard water chemicals will clog the spray arm jets and bearings. To clean the spray arms, follow the instructions below: To remove the upper spray arm, hold the nut in the center still and rotate the spray arm counterclockwise to remove it. To remove the lower spray arm, pull out the spray arm upward. Wash the arms in soapy and warm water and use a soft brush to clean the jets.
Page 16: Caring for the dishwasher involves several important steps to ensure its longevity and performance. Frost protection measures should be taken in winter, including cutting off electrical power and draining the water from the inlet pipe and valve. After every wash, it is essential to turn off the water supply and leave the door slightly open to prevent moisture and odors. Always remove the plug from the socket before cleaning or performing maintenance on the dishwasher. Avoid using solvents or abrasive cleaning products; instead, use a cloth with warm soapy water for the exterior and rubber parts. For interior spots or stains, a cloth dampened with water and a little vinegar or a specialized cleaning product is recommended. When not in use for a long time, run an empty wash cycle, remove the plug, turn off the water supply, and leave the door slightly open to maintain seals and prevent odors. If moving the appliance, keep it in a vertical position when possible. Food trapped in the seals can cause odors, so periodic cleaning with a damp sponge is advised.
Page 17: Installation instruction Electrical shock hazard Disconnect electrical power before installing dishwasher. The installation of the pipes and electrical equipment should be done by professionals. Do not use an extension cord or an adapter plug with this appliance. Do not cut or remove the earthing connection from the power cord. Please look at the rating label to know the rating voltage and connect the dishwasher to the appropriate power supply. Use the required fuse 10A/13A/16A, time delay fuse or circuit breaker recommended. Ensure the voltage and frequency of the power being corresponds to those on the rating plate. Only insert the plug into an electrical socket which is earthed properly.
Page 18: Water supply and drain Cold water connection Connect the cold water supply hose to a threaded 3/4 inch connector and make sure that it is fastened tightly in place. Let the water run to make sure that the water is clear if the water pipes are new or have not been used for an extended period of time. The safety supply hose consists of double walls that block the flow of water in case of a supply hose breaking. A hose that attaches to a tap can burst if it is installed on the same water line as the dishwasher. It is recommended that the hose be disconnected and the hole plugged if your sink has one. Pull the safety supply hoses out from the storage compartment located at the rear of the dishwasher. Tighten the screws of the safety supply hose to the faucet with thread 3/4 inch. Turn the water fully on before starting the dishwasher. Turn off the water before unscrewing the safety supply hose from the faucet.
Page 19: Connection of drain hoses involves inserting the drain hose into a drain pipe with a minimum diameter of 4 cm or letting it run into the sink. The height of the drain pipe must be less than 1000 mm. The free end of the hose must not be immersed in water to avoid backflow. Securely fix the drain hose in either position A or position B. If the connection to the drain pipe is positioned higher than 1000 mm, excess water may remain in the drain hose. It will be necessary to drain excess water into a bowl or suitable container that is held outside and lower than the sink. Ensure that the water drain hose is correctly fitted to avoid leaks and is not kinked or squashed. If you need a drain hose extension, use a similar drain hose that is not longer than 4 meters to maintain the cleaning effect of the dishwasher. The waste connection must be at a height less than 1000 mm from the bottom of the dishwasher.
Page 20: Position the appliance in the desired location with the back against the wall and sides along adjacent cabinets or walls. The dishwasher is equipped with water supply and drain hoses that can be positioned to the right or left sides for proper installation. The height of the dishwasher may be altered via adjustment of the screwing level of the feet. The appliance should not be inclined more than 2 degrees. The height of the dishwasher, 845 mm, allows it to be fitted between existing cabinets of the same height in modern kitchens. The laminated top of the machine is heatproof, scratchproof, and stainproof. In most modern fitted kitchens, there is a single work top under which cabinets and appliances are fitted. Remove the work top of the dishwasher by unscrewing the screws under the rear edge of the top. After removing the work top, the screws must be screwed again under the rear edge of the top.
Page 21: Selecting the best location for the dishwasher is important for proper installation. The dishwasher should be positioned near the existing inlet, drain hose, and power socket. There should be less than 5 mm between the top of the dishwasher and the cabinet, with the outer door aligned to the cabinet. If the dishwasher is installed in a corner, ensure there is space for the door to open. A minimum space of 50 mm is recommended for door clearance. Depending on the location of the electrical outlet, it may be necessary to cut a hole in the opposite cabinet side. Illustrations provide guidance on cabinet dimensions and installation positions. For a 60 cm model, the space between the cabinet bottom and floor should be 600 mm. For a 45 cm model, the required space is 450 mm. Ensure proper connections for electrical, drain, and water supply lines. The installation position should facilitate easy access to utilities.
Page 22: Troubleshooting tips can help avoid unnecessary service calls. Check for a blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker if the dishwasher doesn't start. Ensure the power supply is turned on and the dishwasher door is securely closed. Verify that the power cord is properly plugged into the wall socket. Low water pressure may indicate improper connection or that the water supply is turned off. Make sure the dishwasher door is properly closed and latched. Inspect the drain hose for twists or traps that may hinder drainage. A clogged filter can prevent water from being pumped out of the dishwasher. Check the kitchen sink for clogs, as this may require a plumber. Using the wrong detergent can cause foam in the tub; use only special dishwasher detergent.
Page 23: Problem Possible Causes What To Do Spilled rinse aid. Always wipe up rinse aid spills immediately. Stained tub interior. Detergent with colourant may have been used. Make sure that the detergent has no colourant. White film on inside surface. Hard water minerals. To clean the interior, use a damp soft cloth with dishwasher detergent and wear rubber gloves. There are rust stains on cutlery. The affected items are not corrosion resistant. Avoid washing items that are not corrosion resistant in the dishwasher. A program was not run after dishwasher salt was added. Always run a wash program without any crockery after adding salt. The lid of the softener is loose. Check the softener lid is secure. A spray arm is knocking against an item in a basket. Interrupt the program and rearrange the items which are obstructing the spray arm. Rattling noise in the dishwasher. Items of crockery are loose in the dishwasher. Interrupt the program and rearrange the items of crockery. Knocking noise in the water pipes. For normally soiled loads, use multi-functional detergent. Intensive program is for the heaviest soiled crockery and normally soiled pots, pans, and dishes with dried-on food. ECO program is suitable to clean normally soiled tableware and is the most efficient in terms of energy and water consumption. 90 Min program is for normally soiled loads that need a quick wash. Glass program is for lightly soiled crockery and glass. Soak program is to rinse dishes that you plan to wash later that day.
Page 33: Water softener must be set manually using the water hardness dial. The water softener is designed to remove minerals and salts from the water. The more minerals there are, the harder your water is. The softener should be adjusted according to the hardness of the water in your area. Your local Water Authority can advise you on the hardness of the water in your area. The dishwasher allows for adjustment in the amount of salt consumed based on water hardness. Please follow the steps below for adjustment in salt consumption. Regeneration occurs every X program. The factory setting is H3. Every cycle with a regeneration operation consumes additional 2.0 litres of water.
Page 34: Please check the section 3 “Loading the Salt Into The Softener” of PART I: Generic Version, if your dishwasher lacks salt. If your model does not have any water softener, you may skip this section. The hardness of the water varies from place to place. If hard water is used in the dishwasher, deposits will form on the dishes and utensils. The appliance is equipped with a special softener that uses a salt container specifically designed to eliminate lime and minerals from the water. Consider buying utensils which are identified as dishwasher-proof. For particular items, select a program with the lowest possible temperature. To prevent damage, do not take glass and cutlery out of the dishwasher immediately after the program has ended. Cutlery with wooden, horn china or mother-of-pearl handles are not suitable. Some types of glasses can become dull after a large number of washes.
Page 35: Recommendations for loading the dishwasher Scrape off any large amounts of leftover food. It is not necessary to rinse the dishes under running water. For best performance of the dishwasher, follow these loading guidelines. Items such as cups, glasses, pots/pans, etc. must face downwards. All utensils are stacked securely and cannot tip over. Load hollow items such as cups, glasses, pans etc. with the opening facing downwards. Dishes and items of cutlery must not lie inside one another, or cover each other. The upper basket is designed to hold more delicate and lighter dishware such as glasses, coffee and tea cups. Long bladed knives stored in an upright position are a potential hazard. To prevent water dripping from the upper basket into the lower basket, we recommend that you empty the lower basket first.
Page 36: Loading the upper basket is designed for delicate and lighter dishware such as glasses, cups, and small bowls. Position dishes to avoid movement by the spray of water. Loading the lower basket is recommended for large and difficult-to-clean items like pots and pans. Place serving dishes and lids on the side to avoid blocking the spray arm. The maximum diameter for plates in front of the detergent dispenser is 19 cm to ensure proper opening. Cutlery should be placed separately in the cutlery basket to prevent nesting and ensure effective cleaning. Always load sharp utensils with the sharp point down. Do not let any item extend through the bottom of the basket. For the best washing effect, refer to standard loading options in the manual.
Page 37: Function of the rinse aid and detergent The rinse aid is released during the final rinse to prevent water from forming droplets on your dishes, which can leave spots and streaks. It also improves drying by allowing water to run off the dishes. Your dishwasher is designed to use liquid rinse aids. Only use branded rinse aid for dishwasher. Never fill the rinse aid dispenser with any other substances. The regularity of the dispenser needing to be refilled depends on how often dishes are washed. The Low Rinse Aid indicator will appear in the display when more rinse aid is needed. The chemical ingredients that compose the detergent are necessary to remove, crush and dispense all dirt out of the dishwasher. Use only detergent specifically made for dishwashers use. Dishwasher detergent is corrosive; keep it out of the reach of children.
Page 38: Filling the rinse aid reservoir Remove the rinse aid reservoir cap by lifting up the handle. Pour the rinse aid into the dispenser, being careful not to overfill. Close the cap after all. Adjusting the rinse aid reservoir to achieve a better drying performance with limited rinse aid, the dishwasher is designed to adjust the consumption by user. Follow the below steps. Close the door, switch on the appliance. Within 60 seconds after the appliance was switched on, press the program button for more than 5 seconds, and then press the Delay button to enter the setting model. The rinse aid indication blinks as 1Hz frequency. Page 39: Filling the detergent dispenser involves sliding it to the right and pressing down. Add detergent into the larger cavity for the main wash. For better cleaning results, especially with very dirty items, pour a small amount of detergent onto the door. The additional detergent will activate during the pre-wash phase. Open the cap by sliding the release catch or by pressing down the release catch. Close the flap by sliding it to the front and then pressing it down. Please observe the manufacturer's recommendations on the detergent packaging.
Page 40: Program selection provides guidance on the best wash cycles for different levels of food residue. The wash cycle table outlines energy consumption, water usage, running time, and detergent requirements for each program. Consumption values and program duration are indicative, except for the ECO program. The ECO program is designed for normally soiled tableware and is the most efficient in terms of energy and water consumption. Rinse aid is used in the last rinse for certain programs, indicated by parentheses. Detergent amounts vary based on the program, with options for pre-wash and main wash. The table includes various wash cycles such as pre-wash, intensive, and glass soak. Each program has specific energy and water consumption values listed in kWh and liters. Running times for programs vary, with some cycles taking as little as 90 minutes. The document emphasizes the importance of selecting the appropriate program based on the level of soiling.
Page 41: Saving energy is important. Pre-rinsing of tableware items is not recommended due to increased water and energy consumption. Washing tableware in a household dishwasher typically consumes less energy and water than hand dishwashing when used correctly. To start a program, draw out the lower and upper basket, load the dishes, and push them back. It is recommended to load the lower basket first. Pour in the detergent and ensure the power supply is connected. Make sure the water supply is turned on to full pressure. Close the door and press the Power button. Choose a program, and the response light will turn on. Press the Start/Pause button to begin the cycle. A program can only be changed if it has been running for a short time. If the detergent has been released or the wash water has been drained, the dishwasher needs to be reset. To reset, pause the washing by pressing the Start/Pause button, then press the Program button for more than three seconds to enter program selection mode. You can then change the program to the desired cycle setting.
