- Page 6: Control panel includes various buttons such as On/Off, Delay Start, and AUTO Sense program. The ECOMETER indicates the impact of programme selection on energy and water consumption. More bars on the ECOMETER represent lower consumption. The ECOMETER shows the most environmentally friendly programme selection for normally soiled dishwashing loads. Rinse aid indicator signals when the rinse aid dispenser needs refilling. Salt indicator signals when the salt container needs refilling. Machine Care indicator indicates when the appliance requires internal cleaning. Drying phase indicator shows when a programme with a drying phase is selected. The drying phase indicator flashes during the operation of the drying phase. Refer to specific sections for more information on indicators and care instructions.
- Page 7: Programme selection adjusts the temperature, water quantity, and wash duration based on soil degree and dish amount. My Time selection bar allows choosing a dishwashing cycle based on programme duration. Extras can be activated to customize programme selection according to needs. ExtraSilent reduces noise by operating the wash pump at a lower speed, extending programme duration. Quick is the shortest programme (30min) for lightly soiled dishes. 1h is suitable for fresh and lightly dried-on soil, with ExtraPower enhancing results by increasing wash temperature and duration. 1h 30min is for normally soiled items. 2h 40min is for heavily soiled items. ECO is the longest programme, optimizing energy and water use for normally soiled crockery and cutlery. GlassCare prevents damage to delicate items by maintaining a lower temperature during the wash.
- Page 8: Programmes overview Dishwasher programmes vary based on the degree of soil. Each programme includes specific phases such as dishwashing, rinsing, and drying. The Quick programme is designed for lightly soiled crockery and cutlery. The ECO programme is suitable for heavily soiled items and includes a prewash. The ExtraSilent programme operates at a lower noise level. AUTO Sense adjusts the wash based on the load and soil level. Machine Care is for cleaning the appliance's interior. Consumption values include water usage and energy consumption for each programme. The duration of each programme varies depending on the selected settings. Extra features like ExtraPower and GlassCare enhance the cleaning process.
- Page 9: Programme details include water usage, energy consumption, and duration for various settings. - Page 10: Use Previous or Next to select the bar of the ECOMETER dedicated to the desired setting. The display shows the current setting value. Press OK to enter the setting. The bar of the ECOMETER dedicated to the chosen setting is on. You can navigate in setting mode using MY TIME selection bar. Press Previous or Next to change the value. The new setting is saved. The appliance returns to the basic settings list. The water softener removes minerals from the water supply, which would have a negative effect on the washing results. The water softener should be adjusted according to the hardness of the water in your area.
- Page 11: Water hardness levels are measured in German degrees (°dH), French degrees (°fH), and Clarke degrees. The water softener levels range from 1 to 10, with specific ranges for each level. Multi-tabs containing salt are not effective enough to soften hard water. For correct water softener operation, the resin needs to be regenerated regularly. The regeneration process is automatic and part of normal dishwasher operation. A new regeneration process will be initiated after a prescribed quantity of water has been used. Regeneration may occur in the middle of the program or at the end with a short drying phase. Regeneration initiation does not impact cycle duration unless it occurs mid-program. If regeneration occurs mid-program, it may prolong the total duration by an additional 5 minutes. The rinsing of the water softener lasts for 5 minutes after regeneration.
- Page 12: AirDry improves the drying results. The appliance door opens automatically during the drying phase and remains ajar. Each performed softener rinse may prolong the programme duration by another 5 minutes. The consumption values are determined in line with the currently applicable standard. AirDry is automatically activated with all programmes. The rinse aid helps to dry the dishes without streaks and stains. When rinse aid chamber is empty, the rinse aid indicator is on notifying to refill rinse aid. Do not try to close the appliance door within 2 minutes after automatic opening. If children have access to the appliance, we advise to deactivate AirDry. You can activate an acoustic signal that sounds when the programme is completed.
- Page 13: The latest programme that was completed before the appliance deactivation is saved. It is then selected automatically after you activate the appliance. The buttons on the control panel make a click sound when you press them. You can deactivate this sound. When the latest programme selection is disabled, the default programme is ECO. Make sure that the current level of the water softener agrees with the hardness of the water supply. If not, adjust the level of the water softener. Fill the salt container. Fill the rinse aid dispenser. Start the programme Quick to remove any residuals from the manufacturing process. Do not use detergent and do not put dishes in the baskets. Use rough salt designed for dishwashers only. Fine salt increases the risk of corrosion. Water and salt can come out of the salt container when you fill it. After you fill the salt container, immediately start a programme to prevent corrosion. The salt is used to recharge the resin in the water softener and to assure good washing results in daily use.
- Page 14: How to fill the rinse aid dispenser Only use rinse aid designed specifically for dishwashers. Pour the rinse aid in the dispenser until the liquid reaches the marking FILL. Remove the spilled rinse aid with an absorbent cloth to prevent excessive foam formation. The compartment is for rinse aid only. Do not fill it with detergent. Daily use Open the water tap. Put the detergent in the compartment. You can use detergent in tablets, powder or gel. Fill the salt container if it is empty. Fill the rinse aid dispenser if it is empty. If the programme has a prewash phase, put a small quantity of detergent on the inner part of the appliance door. For information about the detergent dosage, refer to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging of the product. Do not fill the compartment with more than 30 ml of gel detergent. Only use detergent designed specifically for dishwashers.
- Page 15: How to select and start a programme using MY TIME selection bar Slide your finger across MY TIME selection bar to choose a suitable programme. The light related to the button is on. The display shows the longest possible program duration. The appliance senses the type of load and adjusts a suitable wash cycle. During the cycle, the sensors operate several times and the initial program duration can decrease. How to activate EXTRAS Select a programme using MY TIME selection bar. Press the button dedicated to the option you want to activate. By default, options must be activated every time before you start a programme. How to cancel a running programme Press and hold for about 3 seconds.
- Page 16: The Auto Off function saves energy by switching the appliance off when it is not operating. Make sure that there is detergent in the detergent dispenser before you start a new programme. Opening the door while a programme is running stops the appliance and may affect energy consumption and programme duration. When the programme is complete, the display shows 0:00. If the door is opened for more than 30 seconds during the drying phase, the running programme ends. You can use dishwasher detergent, rinse aid and salt separately or you can use multi-tablets. Select a programme according to the type of load and the degree of soil. Washing dishes in the dishwasher usually consumes less water and energy than washing dishes by hand. Load the dishwasher to its full capacity to save water and energy. Only use salt, rinse aid and detergent designed for dishwashers.
- Page 17: The filters are clean and correctly installed. The spray arms are not clogged. There is enough salt and rinse aid unless you use multi-tablets. Detergent tablets do not fully dissolve with short programmes. Always use the correct quantity of detergent. Insufficient dosage of rinse aid decreases the drying results. Make sure that the water softener level is correct. Always use the whole space of the baskets. Do not wash items that can absorb water in the appliance. Let the tableware cool down before you remove it from the appliance.
- Page 18: 10. Care and cleaning Do not use abrasive products, abrasive cleaning pads, sharp tools, strong chemicals, scourer or solvents. Before any maintenance other than running the programme Machine Care, deactivate the appliance and disconnect the mains plug from the main socket. Wipe clean the door, including the rubber gasket, once a week. To maintain the performance of your appliance, use a cleaning product designed specifically for dishwashers at least once every two months. Dirty filters and clogged spray arms negatively affect the washing results. Check these elements regularly and, if necessary, clean them. For optimal cleaning results, start the programme Machine Care. Check the filters and the sump after each use of the dishwasher. Foreign objects decrease the cleaning performance and can cause damage to the drain pump. Machine Care is a programme designed to clean the appliance interior with optimal results. It removes limescale and grease buildup. Clean the appliance with a moist soft cloth. Only use neutral detergents. The filter system is made of 3 parts.
- Page 19: Make sure that there are no residues of food or soil in or around the edge of the sump. Put back in place the flat filter (A). Make sure that it is correctly positioned under the 2 guides. Turn the filter (B) counterclockwise and remove it. Reassemble the filters (B) and (C). Put back the filter (B) in the flat filter (A). Turn it clockwise until it locks. Remove the filter (C) out of filter (B). Remove the flat filter (A). Wash the filters. An incorrect position of the filters can cause bad washing results and damage to the appliance.
- Page 20: Cleaning the lower spray arm is recommended to prevent soil from clogging the holes. Clogged holes can cause unsatisfactory washing results. To remove the lower spray arm, pull it upwards. Cleaning the upper spray arms is also recommended to prevent soil from clogging the holes. The upper spray arms are placed under the upper basket and installed in the duct with mounting elements. Wash the spray arm under running water and use a thin pointed tool to remove particles of soil from the holes. To detach the spray arm, turn the mounting element clockwise. To install the spray arm back, press it downwards.
- Page 21: To install the spray arm back, insert the mounting element in the spray arm and fix it in the duct by turning it counterclockwise. Wash the spray arm under running water. Use a thin pointed tool, e.g. a toothpick, to remove particles of soil from the holes. Improper repair of the appliance may pose a danger to the safety of the user. Any repairs must be performed by qualified personnel. Refer to the below table for information on possible problems. With some problems, the display shows an alarm code. The majority of problems that may occur can be solved without the need. Make sure that the mains plug is connected to the mains socket. Make sure that there is no damaged fuse in the fuse box.
- Page 22: Problem and alarm code Possible cause and solution The programme does not start. Make sure that the appliance door is closed. If the delay start is set, cancel the setting or wait for the end of the countdown. The appliance does not fill with water. Make sure that the water tap is open. Make sure that the pressure of the water supply is not too low. The appliance does not drain the water. Make sure that the sink spigot is not clogged. The anti-flood device is on. Close the water tap. Malfunction of the water level detection sensor. Make sure that the filters are clean.
- Page 23: Problem and alarm code The appliance stops and starts more times during operation. It is normal. It provides optimal cleaning results and energy savings. The programme lasts too long. If the delay start option is set, cancel the delay setting or wait for the end of the countdown. Activating options increases the programme duration. The displayed programme duration is different than the duration in the consumption values table. Refer to the consumption values table in the chapter Programme selection. The remaining time in the display increases and skips nearly to the end of the programme duration. This is not a defect. The appliance is working correctly. Small leak from the appliance door. The appliance is not levelled. Loosen or tighten the adjustable feet (if applicable). The appliance door is not centred on the tub. Adjust the rear foot (if applicable). The appliance door is difficult to close. The appliance is not levelled. Loosen or tighten the adjustable feet (if applicable). The appliance door opens during the wash cycle. The AirDry function is activated. You can deactivate the function. Refer to Basic settings. Rattling or knocking sounds from the inside of the appliance. The tableware is not properly arranged in the baskets. Refer to basket loading leaflet. The appliance trips the circuit-breaker. The amperage is insufficient to supply simultaneously all the appliances in use. Check the socket amperage and the capacity of the meter or turn off one of the appliances in use. For alarm codes not described in the table, contact an Authorised Service Centre.
- Page 24: The product number code (PNC) is necessary when contacting an Authorised Service Centre. To find the PNC, press and hold specific buttons for about 3 seconds. The PNC can also be found on the rating plate on the appliance door and on the control panel. For poor washing results, refer to Daily use, Hints and tips, and the basket loading leaflet. Using a more intensive washing programme or activating the ExtraPower option can improve washing results. Clean spray arm jets and filter for better performance. For poor drying results, activate the AirDry function to improve drying performance. Ensure there is sufficient rinse aid and adjust the dosage if necessary. Whitish streaks or bluish layers on dishes may indicate too high a rinse aid dosage. Unusual foam during washing may be resolved by using detergent specifically designed for dishwashers.
- Page 25: Traces of rust on cutlery may be caused by too much salt in the water used for washing. Silver and stainless steel cutlery should not be placed together. Residues of detergent in the dispenser can occur if the detergent tablet was stuck and not washed away. Ensure that the spray arms are not blocked and that items do not impede the detergent dispenser lid from opening. Odours inside the appliance can be addressed by starting the Machine Care programme with a descaler. Limescale deposits may indicate low salt levels or hard tap water. Use salt and set regeneration of the water softener even with multi-functional tablets. If limescale persists, clean the appliance with suitable detergents and try a different detergent. Dull, discoloured, or chipped tableware may result from washing non-dishwasher-safe items. Delicate items should be placed in the upper basket and the GlassCare option activated for special care.
