- Page 2: IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS To avoid floor damage and possible mold growth, do not allow wet areas to remain around or under the dishwasher. This Quick Start and Safety Guide explains the basics of operating your dishwasher and those safety measures that must be followed. Keep detergents or rinsing agents out of the reach of children. Do not allow children to play in or on the dishwasher. When children become old enough to operate the appliance, it is the responsibility of the parents/legal guardians to ensure the children are instructed in safe practices by qualified persons. This indicates that death or serious injuries may occur as a result of non-observance of this warning. Dishwasher must be installed immediately and secured with mounting brackets to avoid tip over. Use this dishwasher only for its intended function, which is the washing of household dishware and kitchenware rated as dishwasher safe. End of Life Disposal - Remove the dishwasher door to the washing compartment when removing an old dishwasher from service or discarding. RISK OF EXPLOSION - Under certain conditions, hydrogen gas may be produced in a hot water system that has not been used for two weeks or more.
- Page 3: Getting started Loading tips for optimal cleaning Load sharp items pointing down to avoid injury. Use caution when opening the door during or after a wash cycle as hot water or steam may escape. Use detergent tabs, fresh powdered detergent, or liquid detergent. For the glass cycle, use 1-1.75 Tbsp. of detergent or detergent tabs with glassware protection. Load plates and bowls in the lower rack and tilt bowls down. This dishwasher is designed to be used with rinse aid, which enhances drying results and shine. Load small plates, glasses, and cups in the upper rack. The amount of rinse aid dispensed can be adjusted in the settings. Do not overcrowd dishes or block water to maintain wash performance.
- Page 4: Cycles and options Reset 3 seconds Heavy baked-on cycle for baked-on lasagna and casserole Delay allows you to delay the start of the cycle up to 24 hours Auto adjusts time and temperature for everyday load Half Load reduces water consumption for small load, mostly top rack Normal increases cycle length and temperature for disinfection Extra Dry raises temperature and extends the drying time for everyday dishes CrystalDry™ provides outstanding drying results using innovative zeolite technology Express reduces overall wash time to 30 minutes for glasses and dessert dishes Start your dishwasher by pressing the On/Off button, selecting a cycle, and pressing Start.
- Page 5: Usage tips for best results include not placing objects in the detergent tray or blocking it with dishes. Clean surfaces with a damp cloth and mild soap, avoiding abrasives or bleach-based cleaners. The filter should be cleaned 3-12 times a year, depending on usage. Scrape off food but do not rinse before cleaning the filter system. Use rinse aid for better drying and adjust the upper rack as needed for large items. Common questions include why food is left on dishes, which may be due to inadequate clearance or a blocked spray arm. The rinse aid dispenses affects drying performance. Cycle times may increase automatically for heavy soil detection or if incoming water is not hot enough. Error codes like E:XX indicate issues such as a blocked filter. Adjusting settings involves pressing the On/Off button and using designated buttons to change values.
