Summary of Contents
- Page 1: Before using for the first time, read the instruction manual and the safety information it contains. Overview of water hardness settings. You can find an overview of the water hardness values that can be selected here. The programme data has been measured in the laboratory according to European standard EN 60436. The consumption figures depend on the programme and additional function selected. Tip: Connect your appliance to a mobile device. You can conveniently change all settings using the Home Connect app. To avoid damage to the appliance, only add special salt to the dispenser for special salt just before the programme starts. Adding rinse aid involves pressing the catch on the lid and adding rinse aid up to the max mark. Load the tableware before starting the appliance. Only clean tableware that is suitable for dishwashers.
- Page 2: Cleaning filters involves checking and removing the filter system after each wash. The upper spray arm can be unscrewed for cleaning, and the appliance should be disconnected from the power supply before maintenance. The filter elements need to be cleaned under running water, and the filter system must be reassembled and inserted back into the appliance correctly. Troubleshooting includes identifying faults indicated by error codes and their causes, such as a kinked supply hose or a blocked wastewater pump. Removable streaks on glassware may indicate that the rinse aid setting is too high. Rust spots on cutlery can occur if the items are not sufficiently rust-resistant or if they are washed with rusting items. Food remnants on tableware can result from improper arrangement or overfilling the basket. Detergent residue may be present if the spray arms are blocked or if the detergent dispenser is not rinsed out properly. If all LEDs light up or flash, it indicates a fault detected by the electronics, requiring a reset of the appliance. Proper maintenance and troubleshooting can help ensure the appliance operates effectively and prevents common issues.
