MY TIME selection bar allows selecting a suitable dishwashing cycle based on programme duration. AUTO Sense programme automatically adjusts the dishwashing cycle to the type of load. The appliance senses the degree of soil and the amount of dishes in the baskets. Quick is the shortest programme (30min) suitable for dishwashing a load with fresh and light soil. Pre-rinse (15min) is a programme for rinsing off food remains from the dishes. ExtraPower improves the dishwashing results of the selected programme. GlassCare prevents delicate loads, particularly glassware, from damaging. ECO is the longest programme offering the most efficient use of resources. This programme is used to assess compliance with the Ecodesign Commission Regulation (EU) 2019/2022.

The pressure, temperature, mains supply variations, options, dish quantity, and soil degree can affect values. Values for programmes other than ECO are indicative only. For performance test information, contact the appropriate email address. Basic settings can be configured according to user needs. Water hardness can be adjusted from level 1L to 10L, with a default of 5L. Rinse aid indicator can be activated or deactivated. End sound can be turned on or off, with off being the default. Auto door open feature can be activated or deactivated. Key tones can be enabled or disabled based on user preference.
  • Page 10: You can change the basic settings in setting mode. To enter setting mode, press and hold simultaneously for about 3 seconds. When the appliance is in setting mode, the bars of the ECOMETER represent available settings. Make sure the appliance is in setting mode. The order of the basic settings presented in the table is also the order of the settings on the ECOMETER. The water softener removes minerals from the water supply, which would have a negative effect on the washing results and on the appliance. Water hardness is measured in equivalent scales. The water softener should be adjusted according to the hardness of the water in your area. Set the right level of the water softener to assure good washing results. You cannot enter setting mode while the programme is running.
  • Page 11: Water hardness levels are categorized in degrees (°dH), degrees (°fH), mmol/l, and mg/l (ppm). The water softener level is indicated by specific ranges of water hardness. Factory setting should not use salt at certain hardness levels. Setting the proper water hardness level is essential to keep the salt refill indicator active. Multi-tabs containing salt are not effective enough to soften hard water. The resin of the softener device needs to be regenerated regularly for correct operation. The regeneration process is automatic and part of normal dishwasher operation. A new regeneration process will be initiated after a prescribed quantity of water has been used. Regeneration initiation does not impact cycle duration unless it occurs in the middle of a program. Regeneration may prolong the total duration of a program by an additional 5 minutes.
  • Page 12: The next programme increases total water consumption by an additional 4 litres and total energy consumption by an additional 2 Wh. Acoustic signals sound when a malfunction of the appliance occurs and cannot be deactivated. Each performed softener rinse may prolong the programme duration by another 5 minutes. AirDry improves drying results by automatically opening the appliance door during the drying phase. All consumption values are determined in line with currently applicable standards under laboratory conditions. AirDry is automatically activated with all programmes other than Pre-rinse. The rinse aid helps to dry dishes without streaks and stains and is automatically released during the final rinse. When the rinse aid chamber is empty, the rinse aid indicator turns on. Do not try to close the appliance door within 2 minutes after automatic opening to avoid damage. If children have access to the appliance, it is advised to deactivate AirDry due to safety concerns.
  • Page 13: TimeBeam displays information on the floor below the appliance door. You can set the automatic selection of the most recently used programme and options. The programme duration when the programme begins is displayed. An alarm code appears when the appliance has a malfunction. The latest programme that was completed before the appliance deactivation is saved. When the latest programme selection is disabled, the default programme is ECO. Make sure that the current level of the water softener agrees with the hardness of the water supply. Use rough salt designed for dishwashers only. Fill the salt container and rinse aid dispenser before first use. Start the programme Quick to remove any residuals from the manufacturing process.
  • Page 14: Caution: The compartment is for rinse aid only. Do not fill it with detergent. Only use rinse aid designed specifically for dishwashers. Press the release button to open the lid. Pour the rinse aid in the dispenser until the liquid reaches the fill level 'max'. Remove the spilled rinse aid with an absorbent cloth to prevent excessive foam formation. You can turn the selector of the released quantity between position 1 (lowest quantity) and position 4 or 6 (highest quantity). Water and salt can come out of the salt container when you fill it. After you fill the salt container, immediately start a programme to prevent corrosion. Open the water tap. Press and hold until the appliance is activated.
  • Page 15: Fill the salt container if it is empty. Fill the rinse aid dispenser if it is empty. Load the baskets. Add the detergent. Select and start a programme. Close the water tap when the programme is running. Activate applicable EXTRAS if desired. The ECOMETER indicates the level of energy and water consumption. For information about the detergent dosage, refer to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging of the product. By default, options must be activated every time before you start a programme.

Make sure that there is detergent in the detergent dispenser before you start a new programme. How to start the AUTO Sense program Close the appliance door to start the program. The appliance senses the type of load and adjusts a suitable wash cycle. Opening the door while the appliance operates Opening the door while a programme is running stops the appliance. After closing the door, the appliance continues from the point of interruption. How to delay the start of a programme Select a programme and press repeatedly until the display shows the desired delay time. Close the appliance door to start the countdown. The Auto Off function This function saves energy by switching the appliance off when it is not operating. When the programme is completed, the display shows 0:00. How to cancel the delay start while the countdown operates Press and hold for about 3 seconds. If you cancel the delay start, you have to select the programme again.
  • Page 17: Hints and tips for optimal cleaning and drying results include using appropriate dishwasher products. Only use salt, rinse aid, and detergent designed for dishwashers to avoid appliance damage. In areas with hard water, use basic dishwasher detergent, rinse aid, and salt separately for best results. Washing dishes in a dishwasher typically consumes less water and energy than hand washing. Load the dishwasher to full capacity to save water and energy, and arrange items as instructed without overloading. Detergent tablets may not dissolve fully in short programmes; use long programmes to prevent residues. Do not pre-rinse dishes by hand, as it increases water and energy consumption. Soak or scour cookware with tough food residues before washing. Use the correct quantity of detergent and rinse aid to avoid poor cleaning results and residues. Select a programme based on the load type and soil degree, with ECO being the most efficient option.
  • Page 18: Cleaning the filters The filter system is made of 3 parts. The indicators display shows the programme duration. Close the appliance door to start the programme. When the programme is complete, the indicator is off. Clean the appliance interior with a soft damp cloth. Wipe clean the door, including the rubber gasket, once a week. To maintain the performance of your appliance, use a cleaning product designed specifically for dishwashers at least once every two months. Check the filters and the sump after each use of the dishwasher. If unable to remove the foreign objects, contact an Authorised Service Centre.
  • Page 19: Cleaning the lower spray arm is recommended to prevent soil from clogging the holes. Clogged holes can cause unsatisfactory washing results. To remove the lower spray arm, pull it upwards. Wash the spray arm under running water. Use a thin pointed tool to remove particles of soil from the holes. Make sure that there are no residues of food or soil in or around the edge of the sump. Put back in place the flat filter and ensure it is correctly positioned under the guides. Reassemble the filters. Put back the filter in the flat filter and turn it clockwise until it locks. To install the spray arm back, press it downwards. An incorrect position of the filters can cause bad washing results and damage to the appliance.
  • Page 20: Move the upper basket to the lowest level to reach the spray arm more easily. To detach the spray arm from the delivery tube, turn the mounting element counterclockwise and pull the spray arm downwards. Wash the spray arm under running water. Use a thin pointed tool to remove particles of soil from the holes. Do not remove the upper spray arm. If the openings in the spray arm are clogged, remove the remaining particles of soil with a thin pointed object. We recommend cleaning the ceiling spray arm regularly to prevent soil from clogging the holes. The ceiling spray arm is placed on the ceiling of the appliance. To install the spray arm back, insert the mounting element in the spray arm and fix it in the delivery tube by turning it clockwise. Release the stoppers on the sides of the sliding rails of the cutlery drawer and pull the drawer out. Install the cutlery drawer on the sliding rails and block the stoppers.
  • Page 21: Troubleshooting Improper repair of the appliance may pose a danger to the safety of the user. Any repairs must be performed by qualified personnel. Fill the rinse aid dispenser or set the dosage of rinse aid to a higher level. Always use rinse aid, even with multi-tablets. Plastic items may need to be towel dried. The programme does not have the drying phase. There are whitish streaks or bluish layers on glasses and dishes. Adjust the rinse aid dosage to a lower level. The quantity of detergent is too high. The interior of the appliance is wet. This is not a defect of the appliance. Humidity condensates on the appliance walls.
  • Page 25: Limescale deposits on the tableware, on the tub and on the inside of the door may be caused by low salt levels or hard tap water. Check the refill indicator for salt levels and ensure the cap of the salt container is secure. Use salt and set regeneration of the water softener even when using multi-functional tablets. Start the Machine Care programme with a descaler designed for dishwashers if limescale deposits persist. Dull, discoloured or chipped tableware may result from washing non-dishwasher-safe items. Load and unload the basket carefully and place delicate items in the upper basket. Activate the GlassCare option for special care of glassware and delicate items. Refer to the rating plate for electrical connection values and water supply pressure. The appliance has a capacity of 14 place settings.
