• Page 3: Safety and warnings When using your dishwasher, follow basic precautions. The information in this guide must be followed to minimize the risk of fire or explosion or to prevent property damage, personal injury, or loss of life. Use the dishwasher only for its intended function as described in this guide. NSF 184-certified residential dishwashers are not intended for licensed food establishments. Use only detergents or rinse aid recommended for use in a domestic dishwasher. Do not touch the filter plate in the dishwasher base during or immediately after use, as it may be hot. Do not operate your dishwasher unless all enclosure panels are properly in place. Under certain conditions, hydrogen gas may be produced in a hot water heater system that has not been used for two weeks or more. Some dishwasher detergents are strongly alkaline and can be extremely dangerous if swallowed. Cleaning and maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.
• Page 4: Safety and warnings Household appliances are not intended to be used by children. Children of less than 8 years old must be kept away from the appliance unless continuously supervised. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance. If a dishwasher cleaner is used, we recommend running a wash program with detergent immediately afterward to prevent any damage. The dishwasher is designed for washing normal household utensils. Items contaminated by petrol, paint, or corrosive chemicals are not to be washed in the dishwasher. Do not wash plastic items unless they are marked dishwasher safe. Installation This dishwasher must be installed and located in accordance with the installation instructions before it is used. Installation and service must be performed by a Fisher & Paykel trained and supported service technician. Ensure the dishwasher is secured to adjacent cabinetry using the brackets provided. Do not operate this appliance if it is damaged, malfunctioning, or has missing or broken parts. This appliance must be grounded to reduce the risk of electric shock.
• Page 5: Safety and warnings Do not modify the plug provided with the appliance; if it will not fit the outlet, contact a Fisher & Paykel trained and supported service technician or qualified electrician. If the dishwasher is installed as a permanently connected appliance, it must be connected to a grounded metal, permanent wiring system. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply before any cleaning or maintenance. When disconnecting the appliance, pull the plug rather than the power supply cord to avoid damage. Do not repair or replace any part of the appliance unless specifically recommended in this guide. Keep the floor around your appliance clean and dry to reduce the possibility of slipping. Keep the area around and underneath your appliance free from the accumulation of combustible materials. Do not change or modify the wireless communication device in any way.

• Page 8: First use The combination of high temperatures and dishwasher detergent may cause damage to some items. Rinse cutlery and silverware immediately after use to prevent tarnishing. Most glassware is dishwasher safe, but crystal and very fine glassware may etch and develop a cloudy appearance. Some plastics may change shape or color with hot water. Aluminium can be dulled by detergent. Most modern china patterns are dishwasher safe, but antique items may be more sensitive to machine washing. Woodware is generally sensitive to heat and water, which may cause deterioration over time. Hard water can be detrimental to the performance of your dishwasher and may cause glassware to become cloudy. Use rinse aid to improve wash performance. Regularly use a dishwasher cleaner/descaler to prevent limescale build-up.
• Page 9: When loading your dishwasher, ensure items are placed so water can reach all areas. Your dishwasher can hold up to a maximum of 15 place settings. Lower and middle spray arms should rotate freely. Tall items must not obstruct the upper spray arm. Glass and other fragile items should be stable. All dish openings should face downwards. Plates need to be evenly spaced. Sharp objects should be located securely to avoid injury or damage. Avoid overcrowding. Prevent any protrusions that may block spray arm rotation.
• Page 10: Your dishwasher has a number of wash programs designed to suit your needs. Selecting the most appropriate cycle for each load will help ensure the best wash results. AUTO: Suitable for any type of load. The dishwasher automatically selects the optimum wash program. HEAVY: Designed for heavily soiled pots, pans and dishes. Best for dishes that are quite heavily soiled or to remove food soils that have been left to dry overnight. MEDIUM: For normally soiled dishes for optimum water and energy usage. LIGHT: For very lightly soiled dishes with easy to remove soils; no drying. ECO (default): Use for dishes that are quite heavily soiled or food soils that have been left to dry overnight; no drying. 60MIN: RINSE: Prevents odours and soils from drying on dishes. GLASSWARE: For lightly soiled and heat sensitive crockery and glassware such as wine glasses.
• Page 11: Wash modifiers can be selected after setting a wash program. Not all modifiers can be combined with all wash programs. 1/2 Load adjusts the wash program for smaller loads. Sanitize raises the water temperature during the rinse phase. Dry+ increases the final rinse temperature and drying phase length. Intensive increases water pressure in the lower rack for heavily soiled items. Different wash programs have available modifiers. Heavy program allows 1/2 Load, Sanitize, Dry+, and Intensive. Medium program allows 1/2 Load, Sanitize, Dry+, and Intensive. Light program allows 1/2 Load and Dry+. ECO (default) and 60Min programs allow 1/2 Load, Dry+, and Intensive. Rinse and Glassware programs allow 1/2 Load and Dry+.
• Page 12: Scrape food off dishware before carefully loading the dishwasher. Ensure the spray arms are free from any obstructions and rotate freely. If the rinse aid indicator is illuminated, fill the rinse aid dispenser. Refer to 'Rinse aid' for additional guidance. If the salt indicator is illuminated, remove the lower basket and fill the water softener salt reservoir with salt. Refer to 'Water softener' for additional guidance. Add detergent to the dispenser and close the cover. Tablets can be placed in the detergent dispenser or in the cutlery basket.
• Page 13: Press to turn on the dishwasher. Select a wash program. Select a wash modifier if required. Press to start the wash and close the door. If the door is not closed within 7 seconds the wash will be cancelled.
• Page 14: Setting a wash involves pausing by carefully opening the door at any point during the cycle. Pressing and holding a specific button will cancel the wash. After the wash, the door will automatically open slightly to assist with drying. For best results, it is recommended to unload dishes once they have cooled. This automatic door opening feature can be disabled by referring to the 'Preferences' section.
• Page 15: Wi-Fi connection & remote mode Your appliance may be connected to your home wireless network and operated remotely using the app. Getting started Ensure your home Wi-Fi network is turned on. You will be given step by step guidance on both your appliance and mobile device. It may take up to 10 minutes to connect your appliance. For further guidance and troubleshooting, please refer to the app. Connecting to your home Wi-Fi Ensure there is no wash in progress. Press and hold REMOTE and together for 4 seconds. When flashes, follow the prompts in the app to complete set-up. Enabling remote mode Ensure your dishwasher is connected to your Wi-Fi network.
• Page 16: Delayed start allows you to set your dishwasher to start later in the day. It can be set after a wash program has been selected and for up to 24 hours. To set delayed start, add detergent and select a wash program and wash modifier if required. Press to enter delayed start and increase the delay time. Press to confirm and promptly close the door. The wash program will begin at the end of the countdown, provided the door is closed. Open the door to pause delayed start. Press to continue and promptly close the door. To cancel delayed start, open the door and press and hold cancel.
• Page 17: Keylock allows you to lock the dishwasher controls for cleaning or to prevent unintended use. To lock the controls, press and hold the designated buttons for 1 second. Add detergent and select a wash program and wash modifier if required before locking. Press to confirm and close the door; if the door is not closed within 10 seconds, keylock will be cancelled. To unlock the controls, open the door to pause the wash. Press and hold the designated buttons for 4 seconds to unlock. Alternatively, you can press and hold the cancel button to unlock.
• Page 18: Using sanitize The sanitize wash modifier adjusts the wash program to meet the conditions required for sanitization. Only programs utilizing the sanitize wash modifier are certified to meet the conditions required by Section 6, NSF 184. For sanitization to occur, the temperature of the water needs to reach 70°C. Ensure all items are dishwasher safe before running the sanitize modifier. If the wash is interrupted or the water supply is turned off during the program, the heating conditions for sanitization may not be met. If sanitization has been successful, the wash will finish as normal. If sanitization has not been successful, an alert will sound and a code will show on the display. Check if the water supply has been turned off or the wash program interrupted. Press and hold CANCEL to stop the beeping, then again to clear the alert code. Reset sanitize and run the cycle again.
• Page 19: You can adjust any of the below settings prior to starting a wash cycle. Controls the amount of rinse aid dispensed. Your dishwasher is set to automatically power on for 30 seconds after the door is opened. Adjusts tone settings. Enables or disables the interior light. Enables or disables the exterior indicator light. Enables or disables automatic door opening at the end of the wash. Sets the water softening level to control the amount of salt released. Your dishwasher is set to automatically default to ECO when standby mode is activated.
• Page 20: Changing the settings requires ensuring there is no wash in progress. Press and hold 1/2 LOAD and another button for 4 seconds to enter the menu. Use 1/2 LOAD to scroll through the settings. Press a button to adjust the setting. Press CANCEL to exit the menu and save your settings.
• Page 21: Detergent Warning: Dishwasher detergents are strongly alkaline and can be extremely dangerous if swallowed. Avoid contact with the skin and eyes and keep children and infirm persons away from the dishwasher when it is open. Check the powdered detergent dispenser is empty after each wash. Unsuitable detergents include liquid detergents, laundry detergents, hand washing liquids, soaps, and disinfectants. For powdered detergent quantities, refer to the 'Powdered detergent quantity recommendations' table and the detergent manufacturer’s guidance. No detergent is needed for rinse. Check that the detergent dispenser is empty and dry before adding powdered detergent or tablets. Remove any excess detergent from the pre-wash compartment and slide the cover closed. If required, add additional detergent to the pre-wash compartment on top of the dispenser. When washing heavily soiled dishware in hard water, more detergent may be required.
• Page 22: Detergent quantity recommendations are provided for optimal use in wash programs. The table outlines the pre-wash and dispenser quantities for different wash programs. Hard water may require more detergent. Tablets are not recommended for the light cycle.
• Page 23: Rinse aid provides a streak-free finish to glass and dishware as well as preventing metal from tarnishing. We recommend using a liquid rinse aid regularly for optimal drying results. The rinse aid dispenser is located on the inside of the door next to the detergent dispenser. The amount of rinse aid dispensed in each wash may need to be adjusted to suit your water conditions. When the rinse aid level is low, the rinse aid indicator on the control panel will light up to remind you to refill the dispenser. Lift the cover open and pour rinse aid into the opening. Do not fill past the MAX line. Take care not to spill any onto the door or detergent bucket. Any accidental spillages into the dishwasher or detergent bucket must be cleaned up immediately. Spilt rinse aid may result in excessive foaming.
• Page 24: Water softener produces a salt solution to soften water in regions with hard water. It maintains good wash performance and prevents scale buildup. You do not need to use this feature if you have a household water softener installed. Refer to the 'Water hardness scales' table to determine the best water softener setting. The salt reservoir must always be filled with granular salt designed for dishwasher water softening. Do not add detergent or rinse aid to the salt reservoir as this will cause damage. The salt reservoir is located in the base, below the lower rack. When the salt reservoir is low, the salt indicator on the control panel will light up. Pour salt into the opening and replace the cover to close. If you are not washing dishes immediately after filling the salt reservoir, run a rinse cycle.
• Page 25: Water softener recommendations Use the table below to determine the optimal water softening setting. Your local water company will be able to help. Refer to 'Preferences' for how to set the water softener. If you have a household water softener installed, use the HD1 setting, irrespective of the water hardness in your area. If your water hardness is above 890 ppm/60 gpg, the wash performance of your dishwasher will decline over time. The rinse aid setting should be at 5.
• Page 26: Racking features include a cutlery basket designed to reduce the risk of injury by loading knives and sharp utensils with handles facing up. Mix spoons, knives, and forks within each section to prevent nesting and ensure water circulation. The cutlery basket features a removable anti-nesting grid that clips onto the top to separate cutlery items. The small items container is used to secure small, lightweight items like baby bottle teats. This container can clip into or on the side of the cutlery basket or be placed elsewhere in the dishwasher. When placing the container elsewhere, ensure water from the spray arm can reach the items inside. If laid flat, the solid plastic side of the container should face up.
• Page 27: Racking features include a cutlery/utensil tray designed to secure cutlery and utensils. Cutlery should be placed into the notches for security, while larger utensils can go in the middle of the tray. Side sections can be slid to the middle to create more space for items below. The upper basket's height can be adjusted to accommodate taller items, either when empty or loaded. It is recommended to raise or lower one side of the basket at a time when loaded. Both sides of the basket must be adjusted to the same height. To raise the basket, pull it up until it clicks into place. To lower the basket, hold the levers on each side while pulling up, then lower it to the desired position. Release the levers to secure the basket in place.
• Page 28: Racking features include foldaway cup racks that can be adjusted in height or folded out of the way. The notches support wine glass stems. To adjust the height, fold up to unlock, slide up or down to the desired height, and fold back down to lock in position. Folding tine racks allow all tines to be folded down as needed to create space for other items.
• Page 29: Maintenance Disconnect the dishwasher from the power supply and allow it to cool before undertaking any cleaning or maintenance. Maintenance parts include the filter, filter plate, and lower spray arm. Wipe surfaces with a damp cloth and dry using a lint-free cloth. Avoid using hand washing liquids, stainless steel cleaners, laundry detergents, scouring pads, abrasive cleaners, and acid or alkaline cleaners. Clean the drain filter and filter plate once a month or whenever there is evidence of food particles. Lower and middle spray arms can be shaken to remove foreign material and cleaned in hot water. The dishwasher must be used with the filter plate, drain filter, and spray arms correctly in place. If not using the dishwasher for an extended period, turn off the power and water supply, leaving it clean and empty with the door ajar. Pour 3 cups of water into the dishwasher before first use after a long period to lubricate components.
• Page 30: Maintenance Removing and cleaning the filter Twist the filter anti-clockwise to release. Lift to remove. Separate the filter cap from the base by pressing the release buttons and lifting. Do not attempt to remove the filter by force as this may cause damage. Clean under hot water and rinse thoroughly. Replacing the filter Align the filter cap with the notch on the filter base. Click together to secure. Place the drain filter back into the dishwasher base. Rotate clockwise to click into place.
• Page 31: Maintenance Removing and cleaning the filter plate With the filter removed, carefully lift the filter plate up and out. Clean under hot water and rinse thoroughly. Replacing the filter plate Slot the filter plate under the locating clips at the rear of the drain and push firmly back into place. Ensure the filter plate is flush with the dishwasher base. Cleaning the upper spray arm Do not remove the upper spray arm for cleaning. Clean with a small, plastic-bristled brush. If heavily soiled or blocked use a dishwasher cleaner/descaler. Cleaning the middle spray arm To remove the middle spray arm, turn the locking nut clockwise to release.
• Page 32: Maintenance Cleaning the lower spray arm To remove the lower spray arm, lift it from the base of the dishwasher. Rinse the spray arm thoroughly under running water, then refit. Ensure the arm rotates freely when refitted. Winterizing (cold climates) If the dishwasher is installed in a cold climate where temperatures fall below zero, we recommend winterizing. Turn off the water supply. Disconnect the drain hoses from the sink drain pipe and the water inlet pipe from the water valve. Drain the water from the hoses, inlet pipe, and water valve, using a bucket or pan to collect the water. Reconnect the water inlet pipe to the water valve and hoses to the sink drain pipe. Remove the drain filter and the filter plate.
• Page 33: Troubleshooting Dishwasher will not start - Ensure the dishwasher is plugged in and the power supply is turned on at the wall. - Close the door. - Press the start button. - Ensure water is connected and turned on. - Check the strainer and clean if necessary. Lower spray arm rotates with difficulty - Clean the spray arm. Refer to 'Maintenance' for instructions. Cover of detergent dispenser cannot be closed - Remove detergent until the cover can be closed. - Wipe dispenser out with a damp cloth. Dry the dispenser before adding detergent. - Ensure there are no large utensils positioned in a way that will stop the dispenser cover from opening. Water remains inside dishwasher after wash has ended - Check that drain connection is free from blockages. - Check the drain hose and straighten if needed. - Call your Fisher & Paykel Authorised Service Centre or Customer Care. - Clean the filter(s). See 'Maintenance' for instructions.
• Page 34: Troubleshooting Foaming - Incorrect amount or type of detergent used. Refer to 'Detergent' or consult the detergent manufacturer’s instructions. - Too much egg in the wash load. Increase the amount of detergent. - Rinse aid dosage level too high. Decrease the rinse aid dosage. - Rinse aid spills not wiped up. Ensure that all rinse aid spills are wiped up when they occur. The dishwasher stops suddenly during the wash - Power or water supply has been interrupted. Check the power and water supplies. Knocking or rattling sound during wash - Spray arm knocking against dishes. Pause the wash and rearrange dishes. Refer to 'Setting a wash' and 'Loading suggestions'. Unclean dishes - Unsuitable wash program for load selected. Select the appropriate wash program for the load. Refer to 'Wash programs'. - Soils were too heavily baked on. Dishes may need soaking. - Spray arm(s) unable to rotate. Ensure no items are obstructing the spray arm path. - Basket/rack incorrectly loaded. Refer to 'Loading suggestions'. - Filter plate or filter incorrectly installed. Refer to 'Maintenance'. - Detergent put in the wrong compartment. Refer to 'Wash programs' and 'Detergent'. - Excessive food not removed from dishes before loading. Scrape all food scraps off dishes before loading. - Unsuitable detergent. Only use powdered or tablet detergent designed for domestic dishwashers. - Not enough detergent. Refer to 'Detergent' for recommended quantities. You may need to adjust these to suit your particular load and the hardness of your water supply. - Spray arm holes are blocked. Clean the spray arm(s). Refer to 'Maintenance' for instructions. - The filters are blocked. Clean the filters. Refer to 'Maintenance' for instructions.
• Page 35: Troubleshooting Possible causes and solutions for common problems with plastic items, discolored dishes, and flashing display. Pre-rinse plastic dishes before placing in the dishwasher and/or add more detergent. Using the Rinse program after adding dishes may minimize staining. The display remains on although the buttons are disabled when Keylock is on. Refer to 'Detergent' for recommended quantities to avoid white stains on dishes and glasses. Increase rinse aid dosage if dishes and cutlery have not dried properly. Leave the door ajar after the wash program to help drying. Add rinse aid if the rinse aid dispenser is empty. Select a wash program for heavily soiled dishes if tea stains or traces of lipstick have not been completely removed. Check water hardness and adjust the water softener setting if glasses are clouded and discolored.
• Page 36: Troubleshooting Possible causes for water marks left on glasses and cutlery include low rinse aid level or dosage setting. To resolve water marks, ensure there is rinse aid in the dispenser and consider increasing the rinse aid setting or using a wash program with a higher temperature. Scale buildup on dishwasher surfaces may be due to a low water softener setting. To address scale buildup, increase the water softener setting and the amount of detergent. For areas with very hard water, consult a plumber about installing a household water softener. If there is no salt, fill the salt reservoir.
• Page 37: Fault codes indicate issues with the dishwasher. Your dishwasher will beep continuously and a fault code will flash in the display. There are two types of fault codes – ‘F’ and ‘A’. First try to fix the issue and clear the code according to the steps in the following tables. If the problem persists, note down the fault code. Contact Customer Care for support or to organize a visit by a service technician. You may be able to clear the fault by resetting the dishwasher. Press and hold CANCEL to stop the beeping, then again to clear the fault code. Wait a few seconds, then press to turn the dishwasher back on. If the fault code has disappeared, the fault has been reset and you can continue to use your dishwasher.
• Page 38: Fault codes 'A' fault codes Follow the steps below to try and fix the issue. A20 - Drain fault Check that drain connection is free from blockages. Ensure that the drain hose is connected in accordance with the installation instructions. Gently clean the turbidity sensor with a soft brush to remove any buildup. Remove the drain filter and clear any water from the drain. Ensure the water is connected and turned on. Check household water pressure. Check the water inlet hose and straighten if needed.
