A reduced-height installation beneath a 34 countertop can be accomplished with a minimum underside height of 32 1/2. Water and electrical connections must be routed through the back wall in the shaded area. To prevent siphoning, an air gap or high drain loop must be used. A custom panel installation template is available from GE Parts and Accessories. The custom door panel and handle should be secured to the dishwasher before installation begins. A complete panel installation instructions template is provided, with a maximum panel weight of 8 lbs. For planning purposes, the template can be ordered in advance.
