• Page 3: Safety instructions Read the user manual and keep it in a safe place. Number of standard place settings: 14. Never use the dishwasher for any purpose other than that specified in these operating instructions. Do not load the dishwasher door or dishwasher baskets with anything other than dishes. Use only dishwasher detergent. This machine can be used by children aged 8 and upwards, and by people with reduced physical capacity, mental ability, memory loss or lacking experience and knowledge. Damaged supply cord must only be replaced by the manufacturer's service centre or someone similarly professionally qualified. Never place dishes with solvent residues in the dishwasher due to the risk of explosion. Children must be watched. Do not allow children to use or play with the dishwasher. Knives and other pointed items must be placed with the points down in the cutlery basket or horizontally in other baskets.
• Page 4: WARNING: Children must be supervised as dishwasher detergent is corrosive. The overflow guard starts pumping out water and turns off the water supply if the water level exceeds normal levels. If the overflow guard is triggered, F54 (Overfilling water) appears on the display. Turn off the water tap and contact your nearest service centre if the overflow guard is activated. The outer packaging protects the product during transport and is recyclable. Separate different packaging materials to help reduce raw material use and waste. The packaging includes corrugated cardboard, expanded polystyrene, untreated wood supports, and protective plastic. The dishwasher is manufactured and labelled for recycling. When disposing of the dishwasher, make it unusable by pulling out the power cable. Contact your local authority for information about proper recycling of the dishwasher.
• Page 5: Before washing for the first time Water hardness To achieve good dishwashing results, the dishwasher needs soft water. Hard water leaves a white coating on dishes and the dishwasher. Water hardness is specified using various degrees of measurement. A water supply with a hardness in excess of 5°dH must be softened. The built-in water softener must be adjusted to the hardness of the water supply. Once adjusted, add detergent and rinse aid suitable for soft water. Contact the local waterworks to check the water hardness in your area. If the water hardness exceeds 50°dH, it is recommended to connect an external water softener. The dishwasher's built-in water softener is regularly regenerated to maintain its function. Regeneration increases energy and water consumption. Hard water leaves a white coating on dishes and inside the dishwasher. It is important to select the right setting for the water softener. Never run the dishwasher with an empty salt compartment if the water supply has a hardness in excess of 5°dH.
• Page 6: Basic settings It is important to choose the right settings for good dishwashing results. Rinse aid Using rinse aid results in faster drying and better dishwashing results. Top up the rinse aid compartment with rinse aid if selected Rinse aid 3:01 - 3:05. When the rinse aid needs topping up, the symbol lights on the display. Top up with salt For water hardness above 5 °dH, fill with salt. Add salt to the salt compartment if Water hardness 4:01 - 4:09 is selected. When the salt needs topping up, the symbol lights on the display. A dishwashing program must be started immediately after adding salt to avoid rust stains.
• Page 7: Greener dishwashing Save energy and water when using a dishwasher in a residential setting. Do not rinse the dishes under running water as this will lead to increased energy and water consumption. Choose a green detergent and read the environmental declaration on the packaging. Run a fully loaded dishwasher to save energy and water. Run programs at a lower temperature if the dishes are only slightly dirty. Select the Eco 55° dishwashing program for normally soiled dishes, which is effective in terms of energy and water consumption. Activate the TotalDry setting for shorter dishwashing programs and better drying results. Connect the dishwasher to the cold water supply if the building is heated using oil, electricity, or gas. Connect the dishwasher to the hot water supply if the building is heated using energy-efficient means. Do not exceed the permitted water supply temperature as certain materials cannot withstand high heat.
• Page 8: Loading the dishwasher Some cookware is not dishwasher safe due to high heat or damage from detergent. Exercise caution with handmade items, fragile decoration, crystal/glassware, silver, copper, tin, aluminium, wood, and plastic. Load the dishes carefully for optimal washing and drying results. All dirty surfaces should face inwards and downwards. Dishes should not be placed in or on each other. Angle dishes with hollows to allow rinse water to run off. Ensure small items cannot fall through the dishwasher basket; place them in the cutlery basket. The dishwasher is equipped with an upper basket and a lower basket with a cutlery basket. Place glasses, cups, bowls, side plates, and saucers in the upper basket. Wine glasses should be placed on the wine glass shelf and knives in the knife stand.
• Page 9: Knife stand Raising and lowering the upper basket Pull out the upper basket. Grab the sides of the upper basket with both hands and lift it up. If the upper basket is raised while in the top position, it will drop to the bottom position. Note that both sides of the basket must always be set to the same height. Lower basket Place plates, side plates, serving dishes, pots and cutlery in the lower basket.
• Page 10: Adjustable plate supports can be folded down to make it easier to load pots and bowls. Place cutlery with the handles facing down, except for knives, and spread them out as much as possible. Ensure that spoons do not stack inside each other. Place the cutlery basket in the lower basket. The cutlery basket lid can be removed. The cutlery basket is flexible and can be separated into two parts. The two parts can then be attached to the side of the lower basket. Check that the spray arms can rotate freely.
• Page 11: Using the dishwasher Add detergent Follow the instructions on the detergent packaging. This dishwasher is fitted with a water softener, so use detergent and rinse aid doses suitable for soft water. The detergent compartment must be dry when adding detergent. There is one compartment for the prewash and one for the main wash. Use only dishwasher detergent! Washing up liquid must not be used as the foam that forms prevents the dishwasher from operating effectively. There are many types of all-in-one detergents on the market. Read through the directions for these products carefully. Activate the TAB setting when using an all-in-one detergent that contains rinse aid. Dishwasher tablets are not recommended for programs lasting less than 75 minutes. Use dishwasher detergent powder or dishwasher detergent gel instead. Optimal washing and drying results are achieved by using dishwasher detergent together with separately dispensed rinse aid and salt.
• Page 12: On/Off The control panel only reacts to use when the door is open. Select a program to suit the type of dishes and how dirty they are. Eco 55° is always pre-selected. Eco 55° is suitable for washing normally soiled dishes and is the most effective program in terms of combined energy and water consumption. For heavily soiled dishes with a lot of grease, a program with higher temperatures should be used. The dishwasher can measure how dirty the dishes are and adjust water consumption and temperature accordingly. A quick program for slightly dried leftovers is available, but it is not intended for burnt food. The TotalDry option is important for ensuring the best drying results. A program with a high temperature is available for dissolving grease on very dirty dishes.
• Page 13: Glass 40° A gentle dishwashing program with a low temperature for washing fragile items made of crystal/glass. Hygiene 70° This program is ideal to use where demands on hygiene are extra high, e.g. for baby bottles and cutting boards. Self-clean Self-cleaning program for hygienic cleaning of the dishwasher tub, spray arms and spray pipes. NOTE! The dishwasher will indicate at regular intervals that Self-clean needs to be run. Delayed start When you select Delayed start, the dishwasher will start 1-24 hours after you have pressed and closed the door. Speed wash This option shortens the program time, but uses more energy and water. Start/Stop The display will start to flash, indicating that the dishwasher is ready to start.
• Page 14: Stopping or changing a program involves opening the door and pressing and holding a button for three seconds. You can top up with new detergent if the detergent dispenser lid has opened and then select a new program. The remaining time displayed is based on the last used program and options. To load more dishes, open the door, which stops the dishwasher automatically, add the dishes, and close the door to continue the program. In case of a power failure, the program continues when power is restored, but if the power is cut during drying, the program is interrupted. Opening the door for more than two minutes during drying will also interrupt the program. The end of the program is indicated by a short signal from the buzzer, and End appears on the display when the program finishes. The dishwasher switches off automatically after the program ends, and it is advised to shut off the water tap after each use. For the best drying results, fully load the dishwasher and angle dishes with hollows to allow rinse water to run off. Unload the lower basket first to avoid water drops from the upper basket falling onto the dishes below.
• Page 15: Program chart Consumption values vary depending on the temperature of the incoming water, room temperature, load size, selected additional functions and more. The values for the Eco 55° program are accurate, others are indicative only. The dishwasher's built-in water softener is regularly regenerated to maintain its function. Regeneration extends the dishwashing program and increases energy and water consumption. This program is suitable for washing normally soiled dishes and is the most effective program in terms of combined energy and water consumption. This program is used to assess compliance with EU legislation on ecodesign.
• Page 16: Open the dishwasher's settings menu by pressing and holding the appropriate buttons until SEt is shown on the display. Press to step through the settings menu and confirm the selected setting by pressing the designated button. A beep confirms that the control panel has been pressed and indicates when a dishwashing program has ended. Error messages are indicated by a loud buzzer. The rinse aid dosage can be adjusted between 3:00 (Off) and 3:05 (High dosage). Increase the rinse aid dosage if dishes have water marks or decrease it if there is a sticky film or streaks. For very soft water, the rinse aid can be diluted 50:50 with water. Adjust the water softener setting based on the hardness of the water supply. For water hardness above 5 °dH, fill with salt; for hardness below 6 °dH, select 4:00 to deactivate the water softener. The factory pre-set for rinse aid dosage is 3:04 and for water hardness is 4:04.
• Page 17: Settings for all-in-one detergent include a reduced rinse aid dosage and affect the dishwasher's softener regeneration. TotalDry feature allows the dishwasher door to open automatically, improving drying results. Wait for the program to end and dishes to cool before unloading. TotalDry is not available for Hygiene 70° and Self-clean programs. TotalDry is pre-selected and cannot be deactivated for the Eco 55° program. Error messages are indicated by F--. Recent error messages may be required when contacting service. Restoring factory defaults can be done by selecting rSt. The settings menu can be exited by selecting End. The menu closes automatically after three seconds.
• Page 18: Care and cleaning Top up with rinse aid When the rinse aid needs topping up, the symbol lights on the display. Open the rinse aid compartment lid. Top up with rinse aid to the level marked MAX. Wipe up any splashes of rinse aid around the compartment. Top up with salt When the salt needs topping up, the symbol lights on the display. Add enough salt to fill the salt compartment (max. 750 gram). Use special dishwasher salt. In order to avoid rust stains, a dishwashing program must be started immediately after adding salt.
• Page 19: Clean the filter. The filter traps larger food particles, which cannot get past the drainage pump. Empty the filter when necessary. It should be cleaned at regular intervals depending on how often the dishwasher is used. Turn the locking ring anticlockwise and lift the filter straight up. Dishwashing results may be affected if the filter is fitted incorrectly. The dishwasher must not be used without the filter in place. Check that the yellow drainage pump stop is in place. Cleaning the spray arms is necessary as holes and bearings can sometimes become blocked. To facilitate cleaning, you can remove the spray arms.
• Page 20: Lower spray arm can be released by pulling it straight up. The door and door seal should be cleaned regularly with a damp cloth. The door seal at the lower front edge can be cleaned with a washing-up brush. Keep the control panel clean and avoid using cleaning products to prevent scratching. The dishwasher tub is made of stainless steel and stays clean with regular use. For hard water issues, run the Self-clean program with citric acid to remove limescale deposits. If water remains after a program, check for blockages in the drainage pump. Turn off the machine and unplug it before inspecting the drainage pump. Remove the filter and scoop out any water in the dishwasher tub. Inspect the drainage pump by removing the yellow drainage pump stop and turning the pump wheel.
• Page 21: Plug the machine in again. Do not forget to refit the drainage pump stop. If the water supply contains small particles, the outer filter on the inlet hose may become blocked, resulting in the water inlet fault error message. Turn off the machine and remove the plug from the wall socket. Turn off the water tap. Unscrew the inlet hose. Carefully remove the outer filter from the inlet hose and clean it. Store the dishwasher above freezing temperature and avoid long transport distances in very cold weather. Transport the dishwasher upright or laying on its back. Before transporting a used dishwasher, water must first be removed from the machine.
• Page 22: Troubleshooting Error messages F10 - Overfilling water: Unblocking the drainage pump. If the problem persists, contact your nearest service centre. F11 - Water outlet fault: See Water remains in the dishwasher under Problem in the table below. If the problem persists, contact your nearest service centre. F12 - Water inlet fault: Check that the water tap is on and that the outer filter on the inlet hose is not blocked. If the problem persists, contact your nearest service centre. F40 - Inlet valve leakage: Turn off the water tap and contact your nearest service centre. F41 - Heater fault 1: Turn off the water tap, remove the plug from the wall socket, and contact your nearest service centre. F54 - Overfilling water: Turn off the water tap and contact your nearest service centre. Do not remove the plug from the wall socket until the water tap has been turned off. F67 - Water inlet fault: Check that the water tap is on and that the outer filter on the inlet hose is not blocked. If the problem persists, contact your nearest service centre. The control panel does not react: Wait a moment then try again. Cannot close door: Check that the baskets are correctly positioned horizontally and that the dishes are not blocking the baskets.
• Page 23: Problem: The door lock does not click into place and lock. Possible causes: The door is not properly closed. Action: Check the door lock. If it does not click into place and lock, open the door. Problem: The dishwasher does not start. Possible causes: The door is not properly closed. Action: Press the start button. Problem: The door lock has not clicked into place and locked. Action: Open the door, press and hold the appropriate button until the display starts counting down, then close the door. Problem: The Delayed start option has been selected. Action: Press and hold the button for three seconds to cancel the Delayed start option. Problem: The plug is not plugged into the wall socket. Action: Check the plug connection. Problem: A fuse/circuit breaker has been tripped. Action: Check the fuse or circuit breaker. Problem: The dishes are not clean. Possible causes: The spray arms are not rotating freely. Action: Check that the dishes are not blocking the spray arms. Problem: Spray arm holes or bearings blocked. Action: Clean the spray arms. Problem: Unsuitable dishwashing program. Action: Select a program with a high temperature to dissolve grease on very dirty dishes. Problem: Incorrect detergent dosage. Action: Dose according to water hardness for optimal results.

Glasses and cups have toppled over during the program. Place dishes to sit steady. The filter is clogged. Clean the filter. The filter is not fitted correctly. Check that the filter is fitted correctly. Drainage pump stop missing. Check that the yellow drainage pump stop is in place. Spots on stainless steel or silver. Some foodstuffs can cause spots on stainless steel if left for too long. Spots or films on the dishes. Incorrect rinse aid dosage setting. Salt compartment empty. Top up with salt. Incorrect water softener setting. Check that the salt compartment lid is tightened clockwise to its end position.
• Page 25: Problem: Too high temperature and/or too much detergent can cause etching on crystal. Action: Wash crystal at a low temperature and with a conservative amount of detergent. Problem: The dishes have a sticky white/blue film. Action: Rinse aid dosage setting too high. Reduce the dosage. Problem: Spots left after washing. Action: Lipstick and tea/coffee stains can be difficult to remove. Use a detergent with a bleaching agent. Problem: Detergent residue in the detergent compartment after dishwashing. Action: The detergent compartment must be dry when adding detergent. Problem: The detergent compartment has been blocked. Action: Check that the dishes are not preventing the detergent compartment from opening. Problem: Rattling sound when dishwashing. Action: Check that the dishes are placed securely and the spray arms are rotating freely. Problem: Water remains in the dishwasher. Action: The filter is clogged. Clean the filter. Problem: Debris in the drainage pump. Action: Clean the drainage pump and check that the yellow drainage pump stop is in place. Problem: Bad odour in dishwasher. Action: Clean with washing-up brush and low foaming cleaner.

Select a program with a high temperature to dissolve grease on very dirty dishes, such as Intensive 70°. The dishes are not dry enough. The TotalDry setting has not been activated. Activate the TotalDry setting. The dishwasher is not fully loaded. Rinse aid needs topping up or dosage is set too low. Top up with rinse aid or increase the rinse aid dosage setting. The setting TAB is activated and all-in-one detergent with insufficient drying effect is being used.

Connections to electricity, water, and drainage must be performed by a qualified professional. Always follow applicable regulations for water, drainage, and electricity. Two people are required for installation. Place a drip tray beneath the dishwasher to prevent water damage. Test the dishwasher before securing it in place. Turn off the water supply during installation. Ensure the installation area is firm and level the dishwasher.

The drainage hose may be extended by a maximum of 3 m, with a total length not exceeding 4.5 m. Use only the inlet hose supplied with the dishwasher and ensure the water tap is easily accessible. Connect the dishwasher to the cold water supply if the building is heated with oil, electricity, or gas. Connect to the hot water supply (max. 70 °C) if using energy-efficient heating methods to reduce energy consumption. The dishwasher must be connected to an earthed socket, and the electric wall socket should be easily accessible.

The following spare parts are available for at least ten years after the model is no longer manufactured: door hinges and seals, other seals, spray arms, drain filters, wire baskets and plastic accessories such as baskets and lids. Number of program cycles Press and hold the appropriate buttons for 3 seconds to show the number of program cycles on the display. If the dishwasher has completed more than 999 cycles, the number of thousands is displayed followed by the number of cycles up to 999.
