- Page 3: Safety instructions Read the user manual and keep it in a safe place. Number of standard place settings: 16. Never use the dishwasher for any purpose other than that specified in these operating instructions. Do not load the dishwasher door or dishwasher baskets with anything other than dishes. Never leave the dishwasher door open as someone may trip on it. Use only dishwasher detergent. This machine can be used by children aged 8 and upwards, and by people with reduced physical capacity, mental ability, memory loss or lacking experience and knowledge. Only use the dishwasher in household-type environments for dishwashing household dishes. Never place dishes with solvent residues in the dishwasher due to the risk of explosion. Knives and other pointed items must be placed horizontally in the dishwasher's special cutlery baskets.
- Page 4: WARNING: Children must be supervised as dishwasher detergent is corrosive. Automatic child lock can be activated to prevent children from starting the dishwasher. Child lock function prevents children from stopping the current dishwashing program. The overflow guard pumps out water and turns off the water supply if the water level exceeds normal levels. If the overflow guard is triggered, F54 (Overfilling water) appears on the display. The outer packaging protects the product during transport and is recyclable. Separate different packaging materials to help reduce raw material use and waste. The dishwasher is manufactured and labelled for recycling. When disposing of the dishwasher, it should be made unusable. Contact your local authority for information about correct recycling methods.
- Page 5: Symbols on the appliance Read the user manual. Recycle as electrical waste. Approved in accordance with the relevant EU directives. Approved in accordance with the relevant UK legal requirements.
- Page 6: Before washing for the first time Water hardness In order to achieve good dishwashing results, the dishwasher needs soft water. Hard water leaves a white coating on dishes and the dishwasher. Checking water hardness Water hardness is specified using German degrees of water hardness (°dH), French degrees of water hardness (°fH), English degrees of water hardness (°eH) or millimoles per litre (mmol/l). A water supply with a water hardness in excess of 5°dH must be softened. Recommended setting If the water hardness exceeds 50°dH, we recommend connecting an external water softener. Increased consumption during regeneration The dishwasher's built-in water softener is regularly regenerated to maintain its function. Regeneration extends the dishwashing program and increases energy and water consumption. WARNING! Hard water leaves a white coating on dishes and inside the dishwasher. It is therefore important that you select the right setting for the water softener. Never run the dishwasher with an empty salt compartment if the water supply has a water hardness in excess of 5°dH.
- Page 7: Basic settings The first time the dishwasher is switched on, it is important that you choose the right settings to ensure good dishwashing results. Set up: - Rinse aid - Water hardness - TAB (All-in-one detergent) - Automatic dosing of detergent Top up with rinse aid Drying is faster and a better result is achieved if you use rinse aid. You will also achieve a better dishwashing result with clear and spotless dishes. Top up with salt For a water supply with a hardness above 5 °dH, fill with salt. WARNING! In order to avoid rust stains a dishwashing program must be started immediately after adding salt.
- Page 8: Top up dishwasher detergent for automatic dosing. Fill the automatic dosing compartment with dishwasher detergent gel if you have activated the Automatic dosing of detergent setting. Open the lid of the automatic dosing compartment for dishwasher detergent gel. Carefully add dishwasher detergent gel to the level marked MAX. Use only dishwasher detergent gel in the automatic dosing compartment. Some thick dishwasher detergent gels are not suitable for the automatic dosing compartment. Dishwasher detergent gel has a milder formula than dishwasher detergent powder or all-in-one detergent with bleaching agent. When the dishwasher detergent gel needs topping up, the symbol appears on the display. Dishwasher detergent gel is dispensed during the main wash for all programs except Self-clean. A little extra dishwasher detergent gel is also dispensed during the prewash in specific programs.
- Page 9: Greener dishwashing Save energy and water when using a dishwasher in a residential setting. Do not rinse the dishes under running water as this will lead to increased energy and water consumption. Choose a green detergent and read the environmental declaration on the packaging. Run a fully loaded dishwasher to save energy and water. Select dishwashing program – Eco 55°, suitable for washing normally soiled dishes. The dishwashing program is designed for an effective wash using as little energy and water as possible. Select option – Auto Dry for better drying results. Connect the dishwasher to the cold water supply if the building is heated using oil, electricity, or gas. Connect the dishwasher to the hot water supply (max. 70 °C) if the building is heated using energy-efficient means. Do not exceed the permitted water supply temperature as certain materials cannot withstand high heat.
- Page 10: Loading the dishwasher Some cookware is not dishwasher safe due to high heat or damage from detergent. Exercise caution with handmade items, fragile decoration, crystal/glassware, silver, copper, tin, aluminium, wood, and plastic. Load the dishes carefully for optimal washing and drying results with minimal energy and water consumption. All dirty surfaces should face inwards and downwards. Dishes should not be placed in or on each other. Angle dishes with hollows, like cups, to allow rinse water to run off. Ensure small items cannot fall through the dishwasher basket; place them in the top cutlery tray. The dishwasher features a top cutlery tray, an upper basket, and a lower basket. Be careful with fully loaded dishwasher baskets to avoid tipping. The top cutlery tray has space for cutlery and similar items and can be adjusted for better accommodation of dishes.
- Page 11: Upper basket Place glasses, cups, bowls, side plates, and saucers in the upper basket. All dirty surfaces should face inwards and downwards. Wine glasses are placed on the wine glass shelf and knives are placed in the knife stand on the right. Raising and lowering the upper basket Pull out the upper basket. Grab the sides of the upper basket with both hands and lift it up. If the upper basket is raised while in the top position, it will drop to the bottom position. Note that both sides of the basket must always be set to the same height.
- Page 12: Adjustable plate supports can be folded down to make it easier to load pots, bowls, and glasses. Place plates, side plates, serving dishes, and pots in the lower basket. Cutlery can be placed in the cutlery holder. Fit the cutlery holder to achieve maximum loading capacity. Check that the spray arms can rotate freely.
- Page 13: Using the dishwasher You have two options for adding detergent – manual or automatic. To activate automatic dosing of detergent, see the chapter Settings. The manual detergent compartment can be used as a supplement even when automatic dosing is activated. Follow the instructions on the detergent packaging. This dishwasher is fitted with a water softener, so use detergent and rinse aid doses suitable for soft water. Do not add detergent to the manual detergent compartment when using automatic detergent dosing. The detergent compartment must be dry when adding detergent. Use only dishwasher detergent; washing up liquid must not be used. Read through the directions for all-in-one detergents carefully. Optimal washing and drying results are achieved by using normal detergent together with separately dispensed rinse aid and salt.
- Page 14: On/Off The control panel only reacts to use when the door is closed. Close the door properly, otherwise the dishwasher will not start. Select a program to suit the type of dishes and how dirty they are. Eco 55° is always pre-selected. The dishwasher can measure how dirty the dishes are and adjust water consumption and temperature accordingly. This program is suitable for washing normally soiled dishes and is the most effective program in terms of combined energy and water consumption. For heavily soiled dishes with a lot of grease, a program with higher temperatures should be used. A quick program for slightly dried leftovers is available. The Auto Dry option is important for ensuring the best drying results. A program with a high temperature for dissolving grease on very dirty dishes is recommended.
- Page 15: Glass 40° is a gentle dishwashing program for fragile items made of crystal/glass. Use a small amount of detergent and ensure items do not touch each other during the wash. Hygiene 70° is ideal for high hygiene demands, such as baby bottles and cutting boards. Night 55° is a quieter dishwashing program suitable for running at night with an extended program time. The Clean (Self-clean) program is for hygienic cleaning of the dishwasher tub and spray arms. Run the self-cleaning program with no dishes using normal dishwasher detergent or citric acid. The dishwasher will indicate when Self-clean needs to be run. Remote control is available through the ConnectLife app by connecting the dishwasher to a wireless network. To remote start the dishwasher, close the door and follow the prompts on the display. The Auto Dry option opens the dishwasher door automatically to improve drying results.
- Page 16: The Auto Dry option is pre-selected for some programs. For the best drying results, do not close the door before the drying phase has finished. The dishwasher door must not be blocked or closed when opened automatically. When you select Delayed start, the dishwasher will start 1-24 hours after you press the button. Press the button to activate Delayed start. This option shortens the program time, but uses more energy and water. Press to activate the Speed wash option. Press and hold the button for three seconds to pause the program. The display shows the remaining program time once you have started the dishwasher. The remaining time is updated during the drying phase.
- Page 17: If you want to load more dishes, press and hold for three seconds to pause the program. You can monitor the dishwasher using the ConnectLife app and remote stop the program. If the dishwasher is turned off due to a power failure, the program continues when power is restored. If you open the door for more than 2 minutes during drying, the program will be interrupted. Once the program has finished, End appears on the display. The dishwasher switches off automatically after the program ends. Shut off the water tap after each use if required by your insurance company. Fully load the dishwasher for the best drying results. Angle dishes with hollows so that the rinse water will run off. Unload the lower basket first to avoid any water drops from the upper basket.
- Page 18: Program chart Consumption values vary depending on the temperature of the incoming water, room temperature, load size, selected additional functions and more. The values for the Eco 55° program are accurate, others are indicative only. The dishwasher's built-in water softener is regularly regenerated to maintain its function. Regeneration extends the dishwashing program and increases energy and water consumption. This program is suitable for washing normally soiled dishes and is the most effective program in terms of combined energy and water consumption. This program is used to assess compliance with EU legislation on ecodesign. Auto Dry

- Page 21: To open the dishwasher's settings menu, press and hold until SEt is shown on the display. You can activate the Automatic child lock setting to prevent children from starting the dishwasher. To temporarily deactivate or activate the Automatic child lock setting, press and hold for three seconds. A beep confirms that the control panel has been pressed. A beep indicates when a dishwashing program has ended. Error messages are always indicated by a loud buzzer. Setting for rinse aid dosage can be adjusted between Off and High dosage. Increase the rinse aid dosage if the dishes have water marks. Adjusting the water softener is important depending on the hardness of the water supply. It is important that the water hardness setting is correct.
- Page 22: Settings for water hardness are crucial for optimal dishwasher performance. For water hardness above 5 °dH, filling with salt is necessary. If water hardness is below 6 °dH, select 4:00 to deactivate the water softener. The factory pre-selected setting for water hardness is 4:04. Activate the setting for all-in-one detergent containing rinse aid to reduce rinse aid dosage. This setting also affects the regeneration frequency of the dishwasher's built-in softener. Automatic dosing of detergent can be activated for precise dosage based on the program running. The dosage for the Auto 45-65° program varies with the dirtiness of the dishes. Error messages can be displayed as F--, which may be needed when contacting service. Restoring factory defaults can be done by selecting rSt and confirming the action.
- Page 23: Care and cleaning Top up with rinse aid When the rinse aid needs topping up, the symbol lights on the display. Open the rinse aid compartment lid. Top up with rinse aid to the level marked MAX. Wipe up any splashes of rinse aid around the compartment. Top up with salt When the salt needs topping up, the symbol lights on the display. Add enough salt to fill the salt compartment (max. 750 gram). In order to avoid rust stains, a dishwashing program must be started immediately after adding salt. Never pour dishwasher detergent into the salt compartment.
- Page 24: Top up dishwasher detergent for automatic dosing When the dishwasher detergent gel has run out, the symbol appears on the display. Open the lid of the automatic dosing compartment for dishwasher detergent gel. Add dishwasher detergent gel to the level marked MAX. Clean up any excess dishwasher detergent gel outside the compartment. Use only dishwasher detergent gel in the automatic dosing compartment. Some thick dishwasher detergent gels are not suitable for the automatic dosing compartment. The compartment can be lifted out for cleaning and refilling. Check that the dispensing hole is not blocked. Clean the compartment with hot water. The dishwasher must not be used without the automatic dosing compartment in place.
- Page 25: Clean the filter. The filter traps larger food particles, which cannot get past the drainage pump. Empty the filter when necessary. It should be cleaned at regular intervals depending on how often the dishwasher is used. Turn the locking ring anticlockwise and lift the filter straight up. Dishwashing results may be affected if the filter is fitted incorrectly. The dishwasher must not be used without the filter in place. Check that the yellow drainage pump stop is in place. Cleaning the spray arms is necessary as holes and bearings can sometimes become blocked. To facilitate cleaning, you can remove the spray arms.
- Page 26: Lower spray arm can be released by pulling it straight up. Clean the sides of the door and the door seal regularly with a slightly damp cloth. The door seal at the lower front edge should be cleaned with a washing-up brush. Keep the control panel clean, using a dry or slightly damp cloth only. Run the Clean (Self-clean) program to maintain the dishwasher tub. The dishwasher tub is made of stainless steel and remains clean with regular use. For hard water issues, run the Self-clean program with citric acid in the detergent compartment. If water remains after a program, check for blockages in the drainage pump. Turn off the machine and unplug it before inspecting the drainage pump. Remove filters and scoop out water to access the drainage pump for inspection.
- Page 27: Refit the drainage pump stop along with the fine and coarse filters. Do not forget to refit the drainage pump stop. If the water supply contains small particles, the outer filter on the inlet hose may become blocked, resulting in the water inlet fault error message. Turn off the machine and remove the plug from the wall socket. Unscrew the inlet hose and carefully remove the outer filter from the inlet hose to clean it. Refit the filter and check that the gasket is correctly positioned. Store the dishwasher above freezing temperature and avoid long transport distances in very cold weather. Transport the dishwasher upright or laying on its back. Before transporting a used dishwasher, water must first be removed from the machine.

- Page 35: Installation Safety instructions Connections to electricity, water and drainage must be performed by a qualified professional. Always follow applicable regulations for water, drainage and electricity. Take care during installation! Wear protective gloves! There must always be two people! Place a drip tray on the floor beneath the dishwasher to prevent damage from any water leaks. Before screwing the dishwasher into place, test the dishwasher by running the 1h 65° program with the Speed wash option. Check that the dishwasher fills with water and drains. Check also that none of the connections leak. WARNING! Turn off the water supply when installing the dishwasher! The plug must be disconnected or power to the socket turned off while the work is carried out. The dishwasher can be installed under a worktop or freestanding.
- Page 36: Freestanding installation requires a firm area and adjustment of the dishwasher's height for leveling. Ensure the dishwasher door can open freely and is centered in the tub opening. For built-in installation, measure the height from the floor to the worktop and the dishwasher. Adjust the dishwasher's feet to achieve the correct height and maintain an air gap of at least 3 mm. Slide the dishwasher into place while pulling the supply and drainage hoses and power cable. Check that the drainage hose is free of kinks or sharp bends and is not damaged. Ensure the door opens freely to avoid disrupting the door lock functionality. Final adjustments to the front feet may be necessary after installation. The drainage hose can be extended by a maximum of 3 m, with a total length not exceeding 4.5 m. The drainage hose must not be routed directly to a floor drain to prevent siphoning.
- Page 37: The hose must always discharge at least 350 mm above the bottom of the machine. Attach the drainage hose with a hose clamp. Ensure that the drainage hose has no kinks. When the drainage hose is routed to a connection nipple on the sink unit's water trap, the hose must be attached at the same height as the underside of the worktop, otherwise dishwater from the sink may flow back into the dishwasher. The water trap must be ventilated. Use only the inlet hose supplied with the dishwasher. The supply pipe must be fitted with a water tap that is easily accessible. Connect the dishwasher to the cold water supply if the building is heated using oil, electricity or gas. Connect the dishwasher to the hot water supply if the building is heated using an energy-efficient means. Do not exceed the permitted water supply temperature. The dishwasher must be connected to an earthed socket.
