WARNING: When using the dishwasher, follow basic precautions, including the following:  

■ Read all instructions before using the dishwasher.

■ When loading items to be washed:  

■ Under certain conditions, hydrogen gas may be produced in a  

hot water system that has not been used for two weeks or  

more. HYDROGEN GAS IS EXPLOSIVE. If the hot water system  

has not been used for such a period, before using the  

dishwasher turn on all hot water faucets and let the water flow  

from each for several minutes. This will release any  

1) Locate sharp items so that they are not likely to damage the  

door seal; and  

2) Load sharp knives with the handles up to reduce the risk of  

cut-type injuries.  

■ Do not wash plastic items unless they are marked “dishwasher  

safe” or the equivalent. For plastic items not so marked, check  

the manufacturer's recommendations.

Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in a risk of electric shock. Rinse aid is essential for good drying performance. The filtration system minimizes sound and optimizes water and energy conservation. Do not operate your dishwasher without filters properly installed. Energy efficiency is gained by extending cycle time and reducing wattage and water usage. Press Start every time you add a dish to the dishwasher.
• Page 3: Operating your dishwasher involves several key steps. Prepare and load the dishwasher carefully, ensuring that all spray arms can spin freely. Use high-quality premeasured tablets and packs for improved performance and to reduce filming on dishes. Remove leftover food and labels from containers before washing. Load items with soiled surfaces facing down and inward to improve cleaning results. Avoid overlapping items that may trap food, and only wash items marked as dishwasher safe. Use rinse aid for better drying performance, as it helps prevent moisture and improves drying by allowing water to drain off dishes. The AnyWare™ silverware basket can be positioned in various locations for optimal space usage. Always place sharp items in the silverware basket pointing down and avoid nesting. Adjust the rinse aid setting if experiencing poor drying performance. Store detergent in a cool, dry place and ensure the dispenser is not blocked when the door is closed.
• Page 4: Select a cycle. Follow the progress of your dishwasher. The indicator LED on the front right corner of the door panel will glow while running the cycle and will go out when the cycle is complete. Typical cycle time is approximately 2 1/2 hours but can take less or more time to complete depending on selections. You can customize your cycles by pressing the options desired. If an invalid option is selected for a given cycle, the lights will flash. If needed, run hot water at the sink nearest your dishwasher until the water is hot. The sensor in your dishwasher monitors the soil level. Cycle time and/or water usage can vary as the sensor adjusts the cycle for the best wash performance. This cycle senses the load size, soil amount, and toughness of soil to adjust the cycle for improved cleaning.
• Page 5: Delay displays how many hours before the cycle will begin. Delays start of a cycle up to 24 hours. Raises the main wash temperature to improve cleaning for loads containing tough, baked-on food. Dries dishes with heat, providing better drying results when using rinse aid. Sanitizes dishes and glassware in accordance with NSF International NSF/ANSI Standard 184 for residential dishwashers. The Sani Rinse indicator glows at the end of the cycle if the Sani Rinse option was successfully completed. Use the Control Lock option to avoid unintended use of the dishwasher between cycles. Press to start or resume a wash cycle. If the door is opened during a cycle or the power is interrupted, the Start/Resume button LED flashes. If you select the Sani Rinse option, the Sanitized indicator on the control panel glows when the cycle is finished.

Proper loading affects drying; unload the bottom rack first and place concave items on the slanted side. Common noises include surging sounds during draining and hissing from the water valve. Improper installation can affect noise levels, and items extending beyond racks may cause thumping sounds. For spotting and filming, liquid rinse aid is necessary. Confirm cloudiness is removable by soaking in vinegar. Ensure water temperature is set at 120°F (49°C) and consider using Hi Temp Wash or Sani Rinse options. To improve cleaning performance, load the dishwasher correctly and check the filter. Select the proper cycle for soil types and ensure water temperature is adequate. Scrape food from dishes before loading. If the dishwasher does not drain, ensure the cycle is complete and check for kinks in the drain hose or food obstructions.

Lorsque l’on sélectionne l’option Sani-Rinse, le témoin Sanitized s’allume dès que le programme est terminé. Nettoyer l’extérieur du lave-vaisselle avec un chiffon doux et humide et un détergent doux. Utiliser un produit comme le nettoyant pour lave-vaisselle affresh peut aider à éliminer les résidus. Couper l’arrivée d’eau et l’alimentation électrique du lave-vaisselle si l’on n’utilise pas l’appareil pendant l’été.
