- Page 8: Programme dishwasher degree of programme phases includes options for load and soil. The standard programme for test institutes offers the most efficient use of water and energy consumption for crockery and cutlery with normal soil. This programme assesses compliance with the Ecodesign Commission Regulation (EU) 2019/2022 and the UK Ecodesign for Energy-Related Products and Energy Information Regulations. Automatic door opening occurs during the drying phase. The appliance senses the degree of soil and the quantity of items in the baskets, adjusting temperature, water quantity, energy consumption, and programme duration automatically. A specific programme is designed to clean the inside of the appliance effectively, removing limescale and grease buildup, and should be run at least once every 2 months. Another programme allows for quick rinsing of food remains from dishes without using detergent. The most silent programme operates the wash pump at a low speed to reduce noise, resulting in a longer duration. Consumption values for water and energy vary based on several factors, including pressure, temperature, and the degree of soil. Values for programmes other than ECO are indicative only.
- Page 9: Information for test institutes is available for conducting performance tests. To receive necessary information, include the product number code from the rating plate in your request. Desired options must be activated every time before starting a programme. It is not possible to activate or deactivate options while a programme is running. The GlassCare option prevents rapid changes in dishwashing temperature and reduces it to 45 °C. The ExtraPower option improves dishwashing results by increasing wash temperature and duration. Not all options are compatible with each other; incompatible options will be automatically deactivated. The ExtraHygiene option provides better cleaning results by maintaining a temperature between 65 and 70 °C for at least 10 minutes during the last rinsing phase. Activating options can affect water and energy consumption as well as programme duration. The option button toggles between available options and their possible combinations.
- Page 10: Settings Programme selection How to enter user mode Make sure the appliance is in programme selection mode. To enter user mode, press and hold Delay and Option simultaneously. Settings available in the user mode include the level of water softener and the level of rinse aid. The water softener removes minerals from the water supply. The saved settings remain valid until you change them again. The water softener should be adjusted according to the hardness of the water in your area. Set the right level of the water softener to assure good washing results. The appliance is in programme selection mode when the programme indicator is on.
- Page 11: Water softener level ranges are provided for different hardness measurements. Factory setting should not use salt at the specified level. Proper water hardness level is essential for keeping the salt refill indicator active. Regeneration initiation does not impact cycle duration unless it occurs mid-programme. Multi-tabs containing salt are ineffective for softening hard water. The rinsing of the water softener lasts 5 minutes and may increase total water and energy consumption. Regular regeneration of the softener resin is necessary for correct operation. A new regeneration process is initiated after a certain quantity of water is used. Each softener rinse may prolong programme duration by an additional 5 minutes. Consumption values are determined under specific laboratory conditions according to regulations.
- Page 12: How to set the water softener level Make sure the appliance is in user mode. Press Program to change the setting. The display shows the current setting. Press the on/off button to confirm the setting. The rinse aid helps to dry the dishes without streaks and stains. AirDry is automatically activated with all programmes other than applicable. You can set the released quantity of rinse aid between level 1 and level 6. When the rinse aid chamber is empty, the rinse aid indicator is on. Do not try to close the appliance door within 2 minutes after automatic opening. How to set the rinse aid level Make sure the appliance is in user mode. If children have access to the appliance, we advise to deactivate AirDry. AirDry improves the drying results with less energy consumption. Press Start to change the setting.
- Page 13: Before first use Make sure that the current level of the water softener agrees with the hardness of the water supply. Adjust the level of the water softener if necessary. Fill the salt container and rinse aid dispenser. Start a programme to remove any processing residuals inside the appliance. Do not use detergent and do not put dishes in the baskets during the initial programme. The appliance recharges the resin in the water softener for up to 5 minutes before starting the washing phase. Use only regeneration salt for dishwashers; do not use kitchen salt. Water and salt can come out of the salt container when filling it. To prevent corrosion, fill the salt container and immediately start a complete dishwashing cycle with detergent. The salt is used to recharge the resin in the water softener and assure good washing results.
- Page 14: Remove the spilled rinse aid with an absorbent cloth to prevent excessive foam formation. The compartment is for rinse aid only. Do not fill it with detergent. Fill the rinse aid dispenser when the indicator is clear. Only use rinse aid designed specifically for dishwashers. Open the water tap. Press the on/off button to activate the appliance. If the salt indicator is on, fill the salt container. If the rinse aid indicator is on, fill the rinse aid dispenser. Add the detergent according to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging of the product. Only use detergent specifically designed for dishwashers.
- Page 15: Press Start to start the programme. When you cancel the delay start you have to set the programme and options again. The indicator of the running phase is on. The programme duration starts to decrease with steps of 1 minute. Make sure that there is detergent in the detergent dispenser before you start a new programme. When the countdown is completed, the programme starts and the indicator of the running phase is on. Opening the door while a programme is running stops the appliance. The Auto Off function decreases energy consumption by deactivating the appliance when it is not operating. If the door is opened for more than 30 seconds during the drying phase, the running programme ends. Do not try to close the appliance door within 2 minutes after AirDry automatically opens it as this may cause damage to the appliance.
- Page 16: Hints and tips for optimal cleaning and drying results include using appropriate products designed for dishwashers. In areas with hard water, it is recommended to use basic dishwasher detergent, rinse aid, and salt separately for better results. Washing dishes in a dishwasher typically consumes less water and energy than hand washing. Load the dishwasher to full capacity to save water and energy, and arrange items as instructed in the user manual. Detergent tablets may not dissolve fully with short programs; using them with longer programs is advisable. Do not pre-rinse dishes by hand, as it increases water and energy consumption. Use the correct quantity of detergent to avoid poor cleaning results and detergent residues. Soak or scour cookware with tough food residues before washing. Ensure items in the baskets do not touch each other for effective cleaning. Adjust the water softener level to prevent rust on cutlery from excessive salt.
- Page 17: When the programme is complete, ensure the filters are clean and correctly installed. Before starting a programme, adjust the water softener according to the water hardness in your area. The arrangement of the items in the baskets is important; always use the whole space of the baskets. Use the appliance to wash dishwasher-safe items only. Do not wash items made of wood, horn, aluminium, pewter, and copper as they could be damaged. Let the tableware cool down before removing it from the appliance. First remove items from the lower basket, then from the upper basket. Do not use abrasive products or strong chemicals for cleaning. Wipe clean the door, including the rubber gasket, once a week. Use a cleaning product designed for dishwashers at least once every two months.
- Page 18: Removal of foreign objects Check the filters and the sump after each use of the dishwasher. Foreign objects decrease the cleaning performance and can cause damage to the drain pump. If unable to remove the foreign objects, contact an Authorised Service Centre. Disassemble the filters system as instructed in this chapter. Remove any foreign objects manually. Reassemble the filters as instructed in this chapter. Clean the appliance with a moist soft cloth. Only use neutral detergents. Do not use abrasive products, abrasive cleaning pads or solvents. Make sure that there are no residues of food or soil in or around the edge of the sump.
- Page 19: Wash the spray arm under running water. Use a thin pointed tool to remove particles of soil from the holes. Reassemble the filters and put back the filter in the flat filter. Turn it clockwise until it locks. An incorrect position of the filters can cause bad washing results and damage to the appliance. We recommend to clean the lower spray arm regularly to prevent soil from clogging the holes. Clogged holes can cause unsatisfactory washing results. To remove the lower spray arm, pull it upwards. We recommend to clean the upper spray arm regularly to prevent soil from clogging the holes. Pull out the upper basket.
- Page 20: To detach the spray arm from the basket, press the spray arm upwards and simultaneously turn it clockwise. We recommend cleaning the ceiling spray arm regularly to prevent soil from clogging the holes. The ceiling spray arm is placed on the ceiling of the appliance. Wash the spray arm under running water. Use a thin pointed tool, e.g., a toothpick, to remove particles of soil from the holes. Release the stoppers on the sides of the sliding rails of the cutlery drawer and pull the drawer out. To install the spray arm back, press the spray arm upwards and simultaneously turn it counterclockwise until it locks into place. Move the upper basket to the lowest level to reach the spray arm more easily. To detach the spray arm from the delivery tube, turn the mounting element counterclockwise and pull the spray arm downwards. Run the water through the holes to wash soil particles away from the inside.
- Page 21: To install the spray arm, insert the mounting element in the spray arm and fix it in the delivery tube by turning it clockwise. - Page 24: The dishwashing and drying results are not satisfactory. Poor washing results may be due to improper loading or insufficient program intensity. Activate the ExtraPower option to improve washing results. Clean spray arm jets and filter for better performance. Poor drying results can occur if tableware is left too long inside the appliance. Activate the AirDry function to enhance drying performance. Ensure rinse aid is filled and dosage is set correctly. Plastic items may require towel drying after the cycle. Adjust rinse aid dosage if there are streaks or layers on dishes. Unusual foam during washing may indicate the use of inappropriate detergent.
- Page 25: Odours inside the appliance may require internal cleaning or the use of a descaler. Low salt levels can lead to limescale deposits on tableware and inside the appliance. Check the refill indicator and ensure the salt container cap is secure. Hard tap water may necessitate the use of a water softener. Use salt and set the regeneration of the water softener even with multi-functional tablets. Dull or chipped tableware may result from using non-dishwasher-safe items. Careful loading and unloading of the basket is essential. Delicate items should be placed in the upper basket, and the GlassCare option can provide additional protection.
