- Page 2: IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS To avoid floor damage and possible mold growth, do not allow wet areas to remain around or under the dishwasher. This Quick Start and Safety Guide explains the basics of operating your dishwasher and those safety measures that must be followed. Keep detergents or rinsing agents out of the reach of children. Do not allow children to play in or on the dishwasher. When children become old enough to operate the appliance, it is the responsibility of the parents/legal guardians to ensure the children are instructed in safe practices by qualified persons. WARNING: This indicates that death or serious injuries may occur as a result of non-observance of this warning. CAUTION: This indicates that minor or moderate injuries may occur as a result of non-observance of this warning. Dishwasher must be installed immediately and secured with mounting brackets to avoid tip over. Use this dishwasher only for its intended function, which is the washing of household dishware and kitchenware rated as dishwasher safe. Misuse of the dishwasher can result in serious injury or death.
- Page 3: Getting started - 1st time use The water softening system creates optimal washing results by dissolving lime-scale and setting the correct water hardness for the detergent to work best. Ask your water company what the water hardness is or use the included water test strip. To adjust the setting: Press the ON/OFF button, hold down button A and press Start until the display indicates H:0. Press buttons B or C to select the desired setting. Press Start to save the setting. Add water to the dispenser before the first wash only. Add special salt (never use table salt or detergent!). Do not place objects in detergent tray or block it with dishes. Scrape off food, but do not rinse. Use rinse aid for better drying. Load sharp items (knives, skewers, etc.) pointing down to avoid injury.

- Page 5: Add detergent using tabs, powdered, or liquid detergent. For the glass cycle, use 1-1.75 tablespoons of detergent or tabs with glassware protection. This dishwasher is designed for use with rinse aid, enhancing drying results and shine. Clean surfaces with a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid abrasives or bleach-based cleaners. Clean the filter 3-12 times a year, depending on usage. To start the dishwasher, press the On/Off button, select a cycle, and press Start. Adjust settings by holding down button A and pressing Start until the display shows H:0x or d:0x. Food may be left on dishes if there is inadequate clearance or if the filter is dirty. Cycle time may increase if heavy soil is detected or if incoming water is not hot enough. Error codes like E:XX indicate issues such as a blocked filter; refer to the Use and Care Manual for details.
- Page 6: Out of warranty product Statement of limited product warranty BSH is under no obligation to provide you with any concessions, including repairs, pro-rates, or product replacement, once this warranty has expired. Warranty exclusions The limited warranty provided by BSH Home Appliances Corporation applies only to the Bosch dishwasher sold to you, the first using purchaser. The warranty coverage excludes all defects or damage that is not the direct fault of Bosch. The warranties stated apply to the original purchaser of the product and to each succeeding owner during the term of the warranty. BSH warrants that the product is free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 365 days from the date of purchase. This product is also warranted to be free from cosmetic defects for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase. This warranty sets out your exclusive remedies with respect to the product. During this warranty period, Bosch will repair your product without charge if it proves to have been manufactured with a defect. Bosch highly recommends that you do not attempt to repair the product yourself or use an unauthorized servicer. No attempt to alter, modify or amend this warranty shall be effective unless authorized in writing by an officer of BSH.
