GETTING STARTED - 1ST TIME USE
Upper rack
ADJUSTING THE WATER SOFTENING SYSTEM
The water softening system creates optimal washing results by dissolving lime-
scale and setting the correct water
hardness for the detergent to work
best.
Ask your water company what the
water hardness is or use the
included water test strip.
Set your dishwasher to the correct
setting.
To adjust the setting:
For small plates, glasses and cups.
Small cups fit on cup shelf.
The cup shelf also serves as
stemware support.

Press the ON/OFF button.
Hold down button A (see pages
3rd rack
Cutlery basket
6-7) and press Start until the display indicates H:0... is shown on the display
window.
Release both buttons. The indicator of button A flashes and the display
indicates H:00.

Press Start to save the setting.

Lower Rack
Do not

block it with
dishes
food,
but
do not
rinse.
Use rinse
aid
for better
drying.
Adjust
upper rack
as needed
for large
items.
Load plates and bowls in lower
rack leaning inward.
Load pots and pans and other large
items upside down.
! WARNING
•
Load sharp items (knives, skewers, etc.) pointing down. Failure to do so may
PUSH
result in injury.
•
To avoid risk of injury, always use caution when opening the door during or
following a wash cycle as hot water or steam may escape. Do not fully open the
door until water noises have stopped and steam has subsided.
