- Page 8: Do not modify the plug provided with the appliance; if it does not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician. Do not abuse, sit on, or stand on the door or dish rack of the dishwasher. Do not operate your dishwasher unless all enclosure panels are properly in place. Open the door very carefully if the dishwasher is operating, as there is a risk of water squirting out. Do not place any heavy objects on or stand on the door when it is open, as the appliance could tip forward. When loading items to be washed, locate sharp items so that they are not likely to damage the door seal. Knives and other utensils with sharp points must be loaded in the basket with their points facing down or placed in a horizontal position. Some dishwasher detergents are strongly alkaline and can be extremely dangerous if swallowed. Avoid contact with the skin and eyes and keep children away from the dishwasher when the door is open. Check that the detergent powder is empty after completion of the wash cycle.
- Page 9: Do not wash plastic items unless they are marked dishwasher safe or the equivalent. Use only detergent and rinse agents recommended for use in an automatic dishwasher. Never use soap, laundry detergent, or hand washing detergent in your dishwasher. The door should not be left open, since this could increase the risk of tripping. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent. During installation, the power supply must not be excessively or dangerously bent or flattened. - Page 12: Using your dishwasher Before using your dishwasher Set the water softener Loading the salt into the softener Always use salt intended for dishwasher use. The salt container is located beneath the basket. Only use salt specifically designed for dishwashers. Using unsuitable salt may cause damage to the water softener. Only fill with salt before running a cycle. This prevents corrosion from spilled salt or salty water.
- Page 13: Please follow the steps below for adding dishwasher salt. Remove the basket and unscrew the reservoir cap. Place the end of the funnel into the hole and pour in about 1kg of dishwasher salt. Before the first wash, fill the salt container to its maximum limit with water. After filling the container, screw back the cap tightly. The salt warning light will stop being on after the salt container has been filled with salt. Immediately after filling the salt into the salt container, a washing program should be started. The salt container must only be refilled when the salt warning light in the control panel comes on. If salt has spilled, run a soak or quick program to remove it.
- Page 14: Maintenance and cleaning External care Clean the door seals regularly with a soft damp cloth to remove food deposits. Food and drink residues may drip onto the sides of the dishwasher door. These surfaces are outside the wash cabinet and are not accessed by water from the spray arm. The control panel should be wiped with a soft damp cloth only. To avoid penetration of water into the door lock and electrical components, do not use a spray cleaner of any kind. Never use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads on the outer surfaces. The filtering system in the base of the wash cabinet retains coarse debris from the washing cycle. Check the condition of the filters regularly and clean them if necessary under running water. Pictures are only for reference; different models of the filtering system and spray arm may be different.
- Page 15: Fine filter Main filter Lift fine filter up from main filter. Hold the coarse filter and rotate it anticlockwise to unlock the filter. Larger food remnants can be cleaned by rinsing the filter under running water. Reassemble the filters in the reverse order of the disassembly. For a more thorough clean, use a soft cleaning brush. Do not over tighten the filters. Never use the dishwasher without filters in place. Improper replacement of the filter may reduce the performance level of the appliance.
- Page 16: Spray arm It is necessary to clean the spray arm regularly for hard water chemicals will clog the spray arm jets and bearings. To clean the spray arm, follow the instructions below: To remove the spray arm, pull out the spray arm upward. Wash the spray arm in soapy and warm water and use a soft brush to clean the jets. Replace them after rinsing them thoroughly. Caring for the dishwasher Frost precaution Please take frost protection measures on the dishwasher in winter. After every wash, turn off the water supply to the appliance and leave the door slightly open so that moisture and odors are not trapped inside.
- Page 17: Remove the plug before cleaning or performing maintenance. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaning products on the exterior and rubber parts of the dishwasher. Use a cloth with warm soapy water for cleaning. To remove spots or stains from the interior, use a cloth dampened with water and a little vinegar. Run a wash cycle with the dishwasher empty when not in use for a long time. Remove the plug from the socket and turn off the water supply after use. Leave the door of the appliance slightly open to help the door seals last longer and prevent odors. Keep the appliance in a vertical position when moving it. If necessary, it can be positioned on its back. Periodic cleaning of the seals with a damp sponge will prevent odors from forming.
- Page 18: Water supply and drain Cold water connection Connect the cold water supply hose to a threaded 3/4 inch connector and make sure that it is fastened tightly in place. Let the water run to make sure that the water is clear if the water pipes are new or have not been used for an extended period of time. The safety supply hose consists of double walls that block the flow of water in case of a supply hose break. A hose that attaches to a sink spray can burst if installed on the same water line as the dishwasher. Pull the safety supply hoses completely out from the storage compartment located at the rear of the dishwasher. Tighten the screws of the safety supply hose to the faucet with thread 3/4 inch. Turn water fully on before starting the dishwasher. Turn off the water before disconnecting the safety supply hose. Unscrew the safety supply hose from the faucet.
- Page 19: Connection of drain hoses Insert the drain hose into a drain pipe with a minimum diameter of 4 cm, or let it run into the sink, making sure to avoid bending or crimping it. The height of the drain pipe must be less than 600mm. The free end of the hose must not be immersed in water to avoid backflow. Please securely fix the drain hose in either position A or position B.
- Page 20: How to drain excess water from hoses If the sink is 1000 higher from the floor, the excess water in hoses cannot be drained directly into the sink. It will be necessary to drain excess water from hoses into a bowl or suitable container that is held outside and lower than the sink. Connect the water drain hose. The drain hose must be correctly fitted to avoid water leaks. Ensure that the water drain hose is not kinked or squashed. If you need a drain hose extension, make sure to use a similar drain hose. It must be no longer than 4 meters; otherwise the cleaning effect of the dishwasher could be reduced. The waste connection must be at a height less than 100 cm (maximum) from the bottom of the dish. Position the appliance in the desired location. The back should rest against the wall behind it, and the sides, along the adjacent cabinets or walls. The dishwasher is equipped with water supply and drain hoses that can be positioned either to the right or the left sides to facilitate proper installation.

- Page 25: Troubleshooting tips Before calling for service, reviewing the charts may save you from calling for service. Possible causes and solutions for common problems include: Fuse blown or circuit breaker tripped. Replace fuse or reset circuit breaker. Dishwasher doesn't start if the power supply is not turned on. Ensure the dishwasher is turned on and the door is closed securely. Check for a kink in the drain hose or a clogged filter if water is not pumped from the dishwasher. If the kitchen sink is clogged, you may need a plumber rather than a serviceman for dishwashers. Use only special dishwasher detergent to avoid suds. Suds in the tub may be caused by spilled rinse-aid; always wipe up spills immediately. Stained tub interior may result from detergent with colourant; ensure detergent has no colourant. A white film on the inside surface can be due to hard water minerals; clean the interior with a damp sponge and dishwasher detergent.
- Page 26: Problem Possible causes What to do There are rust stains on cutlery. Avoid washing items that are not corrosion resistant in the dishwasher. Always run the quick wash program without any crockery in the dishwasher after adding dishwasher salt. The lid of the softer is loose. Check the lip. Ensure the fix is fine. The spray arm is knocking against an item in a basket. Interrupt the program, and rearrange the items which are obstructing the spray arm. The dishes are not clean. See PART II “Preparing And Loading Dishes”. Not enough detergent was dispensed. Use more detergent, or change your detergent.
- Page 27: Problem: Cloudiness on glassware Possible causes: Combination of soft water and too much detergent What to do: Use less detergent if you have soft water and select a shorter cycle to wash the glassware and to get them clean. Problem: Black or grey marks on dishes Possible causes: Aluminium utensils have rubbed against dishes What to do: Use a mild abrasive cleaner to eliminate those marks. Problem: Detergent left in dispenser cups Possible causes: Dishes block detergent dispenser cups What to do: Re-loading the dishes properly. Problem: Dishes are not drying Possible causes: Improper loading What to do: Load the dishwasher as suggested in the directions. Problem: Dishes are removed too soon What to do: Do not empty your dishwasher immediately after washing. Open the door slightly so that the steam can escape. Begin unloading the dishwasher only once the dishes are barely warm to the touch. Problem: Wrong program has been selected Possible causes: In short programs the washing temperature is lower. This also lowers cleaning performance. What to do: Choose a program with a long washing time. Problem: Use of cutlery with a low-quality coating Possible causes: Water drainage is more difficult with these items. What to do: Cutlery or dishes of this type are not suitable for washing in the dishwasher.

One press on the delay button delays the start of washing by one hour. Press the program button to select the appropriate washing program. The selected program indicator will be lit. To start or pause the selected washing program, use the start/pause button. If the rinse aid warning indicator is lit, it means the dishwasher is low on rinse aid and requires a refill.
- Page 36: If the “salt” indicator is lit, it means the dishwasher is low on dishwasher salt and needs to be refilled. Intensive is for heaviest soiled crockery, and normally soiled pots, pans, dishes etc. with dried-on food. Universal is for normally soiled loads, such as pots, plates, glasses and lightly soiled pans. ECO program is suitable to clean normally soiled tableware and is the most efficient program in terms of its combined energy and water consumption. Glass is for lightly soiled crockery and glass. 90 Min is for normally soiled loads that need a quick wash. Rapid is a shorter wash for lightly soiled loads that do not need drying.
- Page 37: Water softener must be set manually using the water hardness dial. The water softener is designed to remove minerals and salts from the water. The more minerals there are, the harder your water is. The softener should be adjusted according to the hardness of the water in your area. Your local Water Authority can advise you on the hardness of the water in your area. The dishwasher allows for adjustment in the amount of salt consumed based on water hardness. This is intended to optimize and customize the level of salt consumption. Steps for adjustment in salt consumption include switching on the appliance and pressing the Program button. The setting gear is memorized by the program after five seconds of inactivity or by pressing the Power button. German degree of measurement and millimol are used for water hardness.
- Page 38: Please check the section 3 “Loading the salt into the softener” of part I: Generic version, if your dishwasher lacks salt. If your model does not have any water softener, you may skip this section. The hardness of the water varies from place to place. If hard water is used in the dishwasher, deposits will form on the dishes and utensils. The appliance is equipped with a special softener that uses a salt container specifically designed to eliminate lime and minerals from the water. Consider buying utensils which are identified as dishwasher-proof. For particular items, select a program with the lowest possible temperature. To prevent damage, do not take glass and cutlery out of the dishwasher immediately after the program has ended. Cutlery with wooden, horn china or mother-of-pearl handles are not suitable. Some types of glasses can become dull after a large number of washes.
- Page 39: Recommendations for loading the dishwasher Scrape off any large amounts of leftover food. For best performance of the dishwasher, follow these loading guidelines. Items such as cups, glasses, pots/pans, etc. are faced downwards. All utensils are stacked securely and cannot tip over. Load hollow items such as cups, glasses, pans etc. with the opening facing downwards. Dishes and items of cutlery must not lie inside one another, or cover each other. The upper basket is designed to hold more delicate and lighter dishware such as glasses, coffee and tea cups. Long bladed knives stored in an upright position are a potential hazard. Please do not overload your dishwasher. To prevent damage, do not take glass and cutlery out of the dishwasher for around 15 minutes after the program has ended.
- Page 40: Loading the basket All tableware can't be placed face up to improve the cleaning area and washing performance. It is recommended to place the dirty side towards the spray arm. Please don't let tableware out of the basket bottom to ensure the spray arm can move freely. The maximum diameter advised for plates in front of the detergent dispenser is 19 cm. Loading the cutlery basket For personal safety and top quality cleaning, place silverware in the basket ensuring they do not nest together. Silverware should be placed with the handles down, while knives and other potentially dangerous utensils should be handles up. Do not let any item extend through the bottom. Always load sharp utensils with the sharp point down. For the best washing effect, please refer to standard loading options.
- Page 41: Function of the rinse aid and detergent The rinse aid is released during the final rinse to prevent water from forming droplets on your dishes. It also improves drying by allowing water to roll off the dishes. Your dishwasher is designed to use liquid rinse aids. Only use branded rinse aid for dishwasher. Never fill the rinse aid dispenser with any other substances. When to refill the rinse aid dispenser. You should never let the rinse aid level be less than 1/4 full. The chemical ingredients that compose the detergent are necessary to remove, crush and dispense all dirt out of the dishwasher. Use only detergent specifically made for dishwashers use. Dishwasher detergent is corrosive. Keep dishwasher detergent out of the reach of children.
- Page 42: Filling the rinse aid reservoir involves removing the cap by rotating it counterclockwise. Carefully pour in the rinse aid into its dispenser, avoiding overflow. Clean up any spilled rinse aid with an absorbent cloth to avoid excessive foaming during the next wash. Close the rinse aid reservoir cap by rotating it clockwise. Adjust the rinse aid reservoir by turning the indicator dial to a number. The higher the number, the more rinse aid the dishwasher uses. If dishes are not drying properly or are spotted, adjust the dial to the next higher number. Reduce the setting if there are sticky whitish stains on dishes or a bluish film on glassware.
- Page 43: Filling the detergent dispenser involves several steps. Press the release catch on the detergent dispenser to open the cover. Add detergent into the larger cavity for the main wash cycle. For more heavily soiled wash loads, also add some detergent into the smaller cavity for the pre-wash cycle. Close the cover and press on it until it locks into place. Be aware that depending on the soiling of water, settings may be different. Please observe the manufacturer's recommendations on the detergent packaging.
- Page 44: Programming the dishwasher Wash cycle table The table shows which programs are best for the levels of food residue and how much detergent is needed. Rinse aid is required for certain programs. Description of cycle includes running time, energy consumption, and water usage. Pre-wash, wash, rinse, and drying cycles are detailed for various programs. Intensive, universal, and rapid wash programs are available. Detergent amounts are specified for each program. The table outlines pre-wash, wash, rinse, and drying stages for each cycle. Different wash temperatures are specified, such as 40°C, 45°C, 60°C, and 70°C. The intensive program is designed for heavily soiled dishes. Rapid wash is a quicker option for lightly soiled items. The note mentions that one program is a test cycle for comparability testing according to EN60436. Detergent amounts are specified for each wash cycle. Overall, the table serves as a guide for selecting appropriate wash programs based on dishwashing needs.
- Page 46: Starting a cycle wash involves drawing out the basket, loading the dishes, and pushing them back. Detergent should be poured in before inserting the plug into the socket. Ensure that the water supply is turned on to full pressure. Close the door and press the power button to switch on the machine. Choose a program and press the Start/Pause button to begin the cycle. A wash cycle can only be changed if it has been running for a short time. If the detergent has already been released, the dishwasher needs to be reset. To reset the dishwasher, pause the washing by pressing the Start/Pause button. Press the Program button for more than 3 seconds to cancel the program. Select the desired program and press the Start/Pause button to restart the dishwasher.
- Page 47: Forget to add a dish can be done any time before the detergent dispenser opens. Press the Start/Pause button to pause the washing. Wait 5 seconds then open the door. Add the forgotten dishes. Close the door. Press the Start/Pause button after 10 seconds, the dishwasher will start. It is dangerous to open the door mid-cycle, as hot steam may scald you.
- Page 48: Error codes indicate malfunctions in the dishwasher. E1 signifies that the dishwasher is not reaching the required temperature due to a malfunction of the heating element. E3 indicates that some element of the dishwasher is leaking. E4 represents an overflow condition. Ed points to a failure of communication between the main PCB and the display PCB. Possible causes for E1 include faucets not being opened, restricted water intake, or low water pressure. Longer inlet time can also trigger error codes. In case of overflow, it is advised to turn off the main water supply before seeking service. Water in the base pan due to overfill or small leaks should be removed before restarting the dishwasher. Warnings are provided for safety in case of overflow situations.
