Programme Dishwasher Degree of Programme phases. Crockery, cutlery, pots, pans. Normal, lightly dried-on. Dishwashing 50 °C. Intermediate rinse. Final rinse 55 °C.
  • Page 9: Programme dishwasher degree of programme phases includes options for load and soil. The standard programme offers the most efficient use of water and energy for normal soil. This programme assesses compliance with the Ecodesign Commission Regulation (EU) 2019/2022. The appliance automatically adjusts temperature, water quantity, energy consumption, and programme duration. Automatic door opening occurs during the drying phase. The programme effectively cleans the appliance's interior, removing limescale and grease buildup. It should be run at least once every 2 months with a descaler or cleaning product without any load. The quick rinse programme prevents odours by rinsing off food remains without detergent. Consumption values include water usage of 9.9 liters and energy consumption of 0.835 kWh. Values may vary based on water pressure, temperature, mains supply variations, options, quantity of dishes, and degree of soil.
  • Page 10: In your request, include the product number code (PNC) from the rating plate. Desired options must be activated every time before you start a programme. It is not possible to activate or deactivate options while a programme is running. This option improves the dishwashing results of the selected programme. Not all options are compatible with each other. This option provides better cleaning results by keeping the temperature between 65 and 70 °C for at least 10 minutes during the last rinsing phase. Activating options can affect the water and energy consumption as well as the programme duration. The level of water softener according to the water hardness. When the appliance is in programme selection mode it is possible to set a programme and to enter user mode. Activation or deactivation of the rinse aid empty notification.
  • Page 11: As the appliance stores the saved settings, there is no need to configure it before every cycle. The water softener removes minerals from the water supply, which would have a negative effect on the washing results and on the appliance. The higher the content of these minerals, the harder your water is. Water hardness is measured in equivalent scales. The water softener should be adjusted according to the hardness of the water in your area. Set the right level of the water softener to assure good washing results. Make sure the appliance is in programme selection mode. Regardless of the type of detergent used, set the proper water hardness level to keep the salt refill indicator active. Multi-tabs containing salt are not effective enough to soften hard water.
  • Page 12: Regeneration process Each performed softener rinse may prolong the programme duration by another 5 minutes. The resin of the softener device needs to be regenerated regularly. This process is automatic and is part of the normal dishwasher operation. A new regeneration process will be initiated between the final rinse and the programme end. All consumption values mentioned are determined in line with the currently applicable standard. The pressure and temperature of water can change the values. Make sure the appliance is in user mode to set the water softener level. The rinse aid helps to dry the dishes without streaks and stains. When the rinse aid chamber is empty, the rinse aid indicator turns on. For best drying performance, always use rinse aid.
  • Page 13: notification to keep the rinse aid refill indicator active. The duration of the drying phase and the door opening time vary depending on the selected programme and options. When AirDry opens the door, the display shows the remaining time of the running programme. Make sure the appliance is in user mode. Do not try to close the appliance door within 2 minutes after automatic opening. If children have access to the appliance, we advise to deactivate AirDry. AirDry improves the drying results with less energy consumption. Make sure the appliance is in user mode before deactivating AirDry. Fill the rinse aid dispenser. Start a programme to remove any processing residuals that can still be inside the appliance.
  • Page 14: Turn the cap of the salt container clockwise to close it. After starting the programme, the appliance recharges the resin in the water softener for up to 5 minutes. Water and salt can come out of the salt container when you fill it. After you fill the salt container, immediately start a programme to prevent corrosion. Use rough salt designed for dishwashers only. The salt is used to recharge the resin in the water softener and to assure good washing results. The compartment is for rinse aid only. Only use rinse aid designed specifically for dishwashers. Remove the spilled rinse aid with an absorbent cloth to prevent excessive foam formation. Open the water tap.
  • Page 15: Press the on/off button to activate the appliance. Do not fill the compartment with more than 30 ml of gel detergent. Make sure that the appliance is in programme selection mode. If the salt indicator is on, fill the salt container. If the rinse aid indicator is on, fill the rinse aid dispenser. Load the baskets and add the detergent. Set and start a programme suitable for the type of load. The Auto Off function decreases energy consumption by deactivating the appliance when it is not operating. Only use detergent specifically designed for dishwashers. For information about the detergent dosage, refer to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging of the product.
  • Page 16: Cancelling the delay start while the countdown operates requires setting a programme and options again. Opening the door while a programme is running stops the appliance and may affect energy consumption and programme duration. After closing the door, the appliance continues from the point of interruption. If the door is opened for more than 30 seconds during the drying phase, the running programme ends. Make sure that there is detergent in the detergent dispenser before starting a new programme. Do not try to close the appliance door within 2 minutes after AirDry automatically opens it to avoid damage. When the programme is complete, the Auto Off function switches the appliance off automatically. Follow hints for optimal cleaning and drying results and to protect the environment. Soak or slightly scour cookware with firmly cooked-on food before washing. Load the dishwasher to its full capacity to save water and energy.
  • Page 17: Use the recommended dosage of the detergent and rinse aid. Make sure that the current level of the water softener agrees with the hardness of the water supply. Always use salt, rinse aid and detergent designed for dishwashers. In areas with hard water, use basic dishwasher detergent, rinse aid, and salt separately for optimal results. Detergent tablets do not fully dissolve with short programmes. Always use the correct quantity of detergent to avoid poor cleaning results. Always use the correct quantity of rinse aid for effective drying. Use the appliance to wash dishwasher-safe items only. Put hollow items with the opening facing downwards. Make sure that the spray arms can move freely before starting a programme.
  • Page 18: Turn the filter (B) counterclockwise and remove it. Remove the filter (C) out of filter (B). Remove the flat filter (A). Wash the filters. An incorrect position of the filters can cause bad washing results and damage to the appliance. We recommend to clean the lower spray arm regularly to prevent soil from clogging the holes. To remove the lower spray arm, pull it upwards. Make sure that there are no residues of food or soil in or around the edge of the sump. Put back in place the flat filter (A). Make sure that it is correctly positioned under the 2 guides.
  • Page 19: To install the spray arm back, press it downwards. Wash the spray arm under running water. Use a thin pointed tool, e.g. a toothpick, to remove particles of soil from the holes. Do not remove the upper spray arm. If the openings in the spray arm are clogged, remove the remaining particles of soil with a thin pointed object, e.g. a toothpick. Poor drying results can occur if tableware is left too long inside the closed appliance. Activate the function AirDry to improve drying performance. Ensure there is sufficient rinse aid and adjust the dosage if necessary. Whitish streaks or bluish layers on glasses and dishes may indicate incorrect rinse aid dosage. Adjust the rinse aid dosage to a lower level if too high, or to a higher level if too low. The interior of the appliance being wet is not a defect; humidity condenses on the appliance walls. Unusual foam during washing may result from using the wrong detergent. Do not pre-rinse dishes under running water. Traces of rust on cutlery can be caused by too much salt in the washing water. Avoid placing silver and stainless steel cutlery together.
