  • Page 8: Programmes The order of the programmes in the table may not reflect their sequence on the control panel. Dishwashing 50 °C includes prewash, intermediate rinse, final rinse at 55 °C, and drying. Dishwashing 60 °C includes prewash, intermediate rinse, final rinse at 60 °C, and drying. Fresh crockery and cutlery can be washed at 60 °C with intermediate rinse and final rinse at 50 °C. Cleaning the appliance interior can be done at 70 °C with intermediate rinse and final rinse. Options include ExtraPower, GlassCare, SprayZone, and AirDry. Different soil levels and load types are considered for programme selection. The programmes cater to various types of crockery, cutlery, and pans. The degree of programme phases varies based on the selected programme. The document outlines specific settings for optimal dishwashing performance.
  • Page 9: Programme dishwasher degree of programme phases This programme offers the most efficient use of water and energy consumption for crockery and cutlery with normal soil. This is the standard programme for test institutes. The appliance senses the degree of soil and the quantity of items in the baskets. This programme is designed to clean the inside of the appliance effectively and efficiently. It removes limescale and grease buildup. With this programme, you can quickly rinse off food remains from dishes and prevent odours forming in the appliance. The pressure and the temperature of the water, the variations of the mains supply, the options, the quantity of dishes and the degree of soil can change the values. The values for programmes other than ECO are indicative only. To receive the necessary information for conducting performance tests, send an email including the product number code from the rating plate. For any other questions regarding your dishwasher, refer to the service book provided with your appliance.
  • Page 10: Options allow for customization of the dishwashing programme. Desired options must be activated before starting a programme. ExtraPower improves dishwashing results by increasing wash temperature and duration. The option button toggles between available options and their combinations. SprayZone enhances dishwashing results by increasing water pressure and temperature. SprayZone is suitable for items with stubborn soil, like pots and pans. Activating options can affect water and energy consumption as well as programme duration. GlassCare protects delicate items, particularly glassware, from damage. Settings available in user mode include programme selection and water softener levels. User mode allows adjustment of rinse aid dosage according to requirements.
  • Page 11: Activation or deactivation of the AirDry. To enter user mode, press and hold simultaneously until the indicators flash and the display is blank. The water softener removes minerals from the water supply, which would have a negative effect on the washing results and on the appliance. Water hardness is measured in equivalent scales. The water softener should be adjusted according to the hardness of the water in your area. Set the right level of the water softener to assure good washing results. Make sure the appliance is in programme selection mode. Regardless of the type of detergent used, set the proper water hardness level to keep the salt refill indicator active. After activation, the appliance is in programme selection mode by default. Press and hold simultaneously until the appliance is in programme selection mode.
  • Page 12: the total energy consumption of a programme may increase by additional 2 Wh. Multi-tabs containing salt are not effective enough to soften hard water. The resin of the softener device needs to be regenerated regularly. A new regeneration process will be initiated between the final rinse and the programme end. All consumption values mentioned are determined in line with applicable standards. The pressure and temperature of water can change the values. Make sure the appliance is in user mode to set the water softener level. The rinse aid helps to dry the dishes without streaks and stains. You can set the released quantity of rinse aid between level 1 and level 6. When the rinse aid chamber is empty, the rinse aid indicator is on.
  • Page 13: Refill rinse aid for best drying performance. AirDry is automatically activated with all programmes except specified ones. The duration of the drying phase varies depending on the selected programme and options. To deactivate the rinse aid dispenser, set the level of rinse aid to 0. Do not close the appliance door within 2 minutes after automatic opening to avoid damage. If the door is closed for at least 3 minutes, the running programme ends. AirDry improves drying results with less energy consumption. Deactivate AirDry if children have access to the appliance due to safety concerns. Before first use, ensure the water softener level matches the water supply hardness. Start a programme without detergent or dishes to remove processing residuals inside the appliance.
  • Page 14: Water softener for up to 5 minutes. The washing phase starts only after this procedure is complete. Caution: Water and salt can come out of the salt container when you fill it. After you fill the salt container, immediately start the shortest programme to prevent corrosion. Use rough salt designed for dishwashers only. Fine salt increases the risk of corrosion. The salt is used to recharge the resin in the water softener and to assure good washing results in daily use. The compartment is for rinse aid only. Do not fill it with detergent. Only use rinse aid designed specifically for dishwashers. Fill the rinse aid dispenser when the indicator is clear. Open the water tap. Press the on/off button to activate the appliance.

Set and start a programme suitable for the type of load and the degree of soiling. Press the on/off button to activate the appliance. Only use detergent specifically designed for dishwashers. Opening the door while a programme is running stops the appliance.
  • Page 16: The energy consumption and the programme duration are affected by the appliance's operation. Make sure there is detergent in the dispenser before starting a new programme. The Auto Off function switches the appliance off automatically when the programme is complete. If the door is opened for more than 30 seconds during the drying phase, the running programme ends. Cancelling the delay start requires setting a programme and options again. The Auto Off function decreases energy consumption by deactivating the appliance when not in use. Soak or slightly scour cookware with firmly cooked-on food before washing. Ensure items in the baskets do not touch or cover each other for optimal cleaning. Washing dishes in the dishwasher usually consumes less water and energy than washing by hand. Load the dishwasher to its full capacity to save water and energy.
