If installed with a garbage disposal, ensure the knock-out plug is removed for proper drainage. To begin using your dishwasher, open the door and select a cycle option from the control panel. The START/Cancel button starts or cancels a cycle; close the door immediately after pressing START. The FAVORITE CYCLE program saves preferred cycle and options for one-touch control. WASH PRESSURE and WASH TEMP options allow customization for soil level and water temperature.
  • Page 2: Quick care Your dishwasher has a glass trap filter to catch excess food particles. Clean the trap monthly to keep your dishwasher working as expected. Clean the interior with warm water and mild soap using a dishcloth or sponge. Use Frigidaire ReadyClean™ Stainless Steel cleaner to keep the exterior clean and shiny. Emptying the glass trap involves pressing down on the center of the wash arm and rotating the glass trap handle clockwise to disengage. To start a new wash cycle, press the START button immediately before closing the dishwasher door. Using a rinse aid can help if your dishes are not as dry as expected. Avoid nesting dishes and overcrowding the dishwasher to improve cleaning and drying performance. Find more troubleshooting tips in the Use & Care manual or on the website under FAQs. Take the first step to becoming a part of the Frigidaire family by registering your new dishwasher.
