• Page 10: Adding special salt is necessary when the special salt refill indicator lights up. Rinse aid should be topped up when its refill indicator lights up. Only use rinse aid designed for domestic dishwashers. Detergent can damage the water softening system, so only fill its dispenser with special dishwasher salt. The water hardness must be set on the appliance. Special salt can cause corrosion in the tub, so it should be added immediately before the program starts. An overview of water hardness settings is provided, indicating various hardness ranges and corresponding settings. The water softening system regenerates in all programs before the end of the main rinse cycle. Only use detergents suitable for dishwashers for optimal washing and drying results. Adjust the amount of rinse aid based on the presence of streaks or water marks on tableware.
