  • Page 9: Before initial use, check if electricity and water supply properties comply with installation instructions. Remove all packaging material from the appliance. Adjust the amount of softener according to water hardness. Add 1 kg of salt and water into the salt container until it overflows. Fill the rinse aid container. The importance of the water softening system is highlighted for optimal washing function. Soft water is necessary to avoid white lime deposits on internal components and dishes. The softener system must be cleaned regularly to maintain performance. Use dishwasher salt specifically designed for this purpose, avoiding table salt. If the insufficient salt warning lamp is lit, add salt to the container. Run a short washing program if not washing dishes immediately to prevent corrosion from overflowed salt.
  • Page 10: Washing efficiency of your appliance depends on the softness of the washing water. Your appliance has a system that reduces the hardness of the mains water. Washing efficiency will increase if the system is set correctly. Find out the hardness of the mains water by using the test strip to set the system. Adjust the water hardness level of your appliance according to the test strip result. If the hardness of the water you use is more than 90dF or you are using well water, it is recommended to use a filter and water purification devices. Water hardness level is 3 by default. Hardness level indicator includes various levels from soft to extremely hard. Open the test strip and hold it under running water for 1 second. Wait for 1 minute after shaking the strip to read the results.
  • Page 11: In accordance with the degree identified on the test track, perform the water hardness setting of your machine as indicated below. Use detergents produced only for dishwashers. Enter the settings menu to change the water hardness setting. Detergent must be added to the container before starting the appliance. Store detergents in a cool and dry place with their packaging closed, away from children. Use forward/backward keys to select the Salt Level menu in the Settings and press confirm. The water hardness level seen in blue on the screen is the level that has been saved last. There are lines inside the detergent container that show the levels. Detergent container can take 40 cm³ detergent in total. To save a new key, select the desired level using forward/backward keys and press confirm.
  • Page 12: Open the detergent container of your dishwasher and fill detergent in the large section of the detergent container. Use up to 25 cm³ of detergent for heavily soiled dishes and up to 15 cm³ for lightly soiled dishes. If dishes have dried food residues and the dishwasher is overloaded, add 5 cm³ of detergent in the container marked with a. You can adjust the amount of detergent based on the soiling level and water hardness in your area. Place tablets in the detergent section inside the detergent container. Combined detergents, such as 2 in 1 or 3 in 1, include detergent with additional functions like salt or rinse aid. These combined detergents provide satisfactory results under specific conditions of use. If using 2-in-1 or 3-in-1 detergent does not yield good results, consult detergent manufacturers. Check the properties of the product and ensure it is suitable for the hardness of the mains water. It is not recommended to use these detergents in short programmes; powder detergents are more suitable for such cases.
  • Page 13: Filling and adjusting rinse aid Rinse aid is used to prevent formation of white water drops, lime marks, and stains on dishes and increase drying performance. Make sure there is rinse aid in the rinse aid container and use rinse aids produced specially for dishwashers. Rinse aid level is set to 4 by default. If you see “NO SALT!” warning on the display, you need to add rinse aid to the rinse aid compartment. Add rinse aid up to the MAX level and close the cover. Enter the settings menu to change the rinse aid level setting. If water marks are observed on the dishes after washing, you need to increase the rinse aid level. Use forward/backward keys to select the Rinse Aid Level menu in the Settings and press confirm. Wipe the overflowing rinse aid as it will reduce the washing performance by creating excessive foam.
  • Page 14: Warning: Only use rinse aids that are approved for the machine. Excessive foam due to rinse aid residues can reduce washing performance. Unloading washed dishes: It is recommended to unload the lower basket first to prevent water droplets from dropping on dishes in the lower basket. Start unloading the dishwasher when the dishes are cool enough to touch. Placing the dishes in the dishwasher correctly allows for optimal energy consumption, washing, and drying performance. The appliance has two baskets for placing dishes. Large and deep dishes should be placed in the lower basket, while the upper basket is designed for smaller items like cups and glasses. Place glasses with long handles at the edge of the upper basket and avoid leaning long glasses on each other to prevent damage. Objects with thin, narrow bodies are better placed in the middle of the baskets. Spoons should be placed among forks and knives to prevent sticking. Long and sharp dishes should be placed with their sharp tips facing down or horizontally to prevent injuries.
  • Page 15: Lower basket Folding wires in the lower basket are designed for large objects like pots and bowls. You can create large spaces by folding each part of the wires. The top basket height adjustment allows for upward or downward adjustment without removal. This adjustment helps create space at the top or bottom of the machine as needed. The factory setting positions the basket in the upper position. To raise the basket, hold it from both sides and pull upwards. To lower the basket, hold it from both sides and release. Ensure both sides of the loaded basket adjustment mechanism are in the same position.
  • Page 16: Direct wash function This function is used to wash glasses, bottles etc. by directing the water upwards while the apparatus on the upper basket is in vertical position. Water is directed downwards when the apparatus is in horizontal position, contributing to washing the lower basket.
  • Page 17: Alternative basket placement methods Lower basket Upper basket Important note for test organisations For detailed information about performance tests, you can send a request e-mail.
