- Page 16: Installing your dishwasher requires preparing the cavity to conform to specific dimensions. The water supply and power point cannot be located in the dishwasher cavity. These connections should ideally be in an adjacent cavity for easy access. An opening for hoses and the power cord is necessary on either side of the cavity. The minimum dimensions for these openings are specified in the guidelines. Drawer dishwashers need to be secured to surrounding cabinetry for stability. Choose one of the two offered options for securing the dishwasher based on your cabinetry. Mounting brackets should be fitted to the top or sides of the product. Ensure the locking tab retains the bracket effectively, adjusting as needed. Use pliers to pre-form the bracket to match the surface it will be attached to.
- Page 17: Installation method (A) Attach top mounting brackets Installation method (B) Attach side mounting brackets
- Page 18: Fit the dishwasher. Position the dishwasher in the cavity so the drawer fronts are inline with the adjacent cabinetry. Draw the hoses and power cord through their opening as you slide the product in. Moisture protection tape must be applied. Adjust the feet in each corner to ensure the product sits evenly on the floor. Check the level using a spirit level on an open drawer. Secure the product in place. Fix the mounting brackets to the cabinetry with suitable fasteners.
- Page 19: Install the kick plate. Prepare a kick plate as shown. The mounting hole position is measured by the machine at the factory state. Set the insertion length of the kick plate and bend the bracket teeth with pliers. Secure the brackets to the kick plate with screws and install the kick plate to the bottom of the dishwasher. If you need to install the kick plate inside, please cut the kick plate to the appropriate height according to the actual situation. Ensure that the clearance between the bottom surface of the kick plate and the ground is at least 10 mm. Minimum clearance requirements are specified. Side view indicates clearance measurements. Brackets are part of the kick plate installation process.
- Page 20: Electrical requirements include a warning about electrical shock hazards and the necessity to disconnect power before installation. The installation should be performed by professionals. The dishwasher requires a 220-240 Volt 50 Hz AC supply through a 10 amp rated power outlet, and the supply must be properly earthed. For the cold water connection, the inlet hose requires a 3/4 inch BSP Male fitting with a flat sealing washer. A faucet is necessary for isolating the water supply to the dishwasher. It's important to ensure the sealing washer is firmly in place and to check that the initial water is clean, especially if the supply has not been used recently.
- Page 21: Connection of the drain hose has two recommended options. Option A involves connecting to the sink waste, which is the typical modern method. Check if your sink waste pipe has provision for this method. If the drain hose spigot has never been used, it may be blanked off inside. Careful drilling or cutting is needed to make it operational, ensuring no ragged edges. Cut off the head of the drain hose before inserting it into the Y piece. Wet the hose ends for ease of insertion and insert fully. Use the hose support clip provided and ensure a straight run from the clip to the waste pipe connection. Drain hoses must not loop downwards.
- Page 22: Option B: Connecting to a standpipe The standpipe must be a minimum diameter of 38 mm (1 1/2 inch) and requires a trap for odor control. Use the hose support clip to secure the hoses, ensuring they do not enter the standpipe more than 120 mm. If there is surplus length of the drain hose it can be shortened. The inlet hose cannot be shortened. Whilst the very first wash cycle is operating, observe all pipe and hose connections for leaks. Checking for any trace of water on the floor in the cavity where the connections are after the first full cycle is a good practice.
- Page 23: Using your dishwasher Before using your dishwasher: Remove the larger residue from the wash items. Load the basket. Load the detergent. Fill the rinse aid dispenser. Basket use tips. There are many ways to adjust the loading pattern of the basket. Removing the rear rack. The rear rack can be removed to create a flat surface for such things as pots and pans.
- Page 24: Folding down the pins can increase spacing for loading large bowls and deep pots. Maximum size for plates that can be loaded is 290mm. The pins on the front rack can be folded down to create a flat space. Do not load the basket with the front rack removed to avoid damage to the rotating spray arm. Ensure the rear rack is firmly set into its correct place. Cups, glasses, and large utensils fit on the cup racks. The fronts of the racks are designed to secure wine glasses.
- Page 25: Adjustable cup racks can be adjusted to different heights independently. You can fold the cup racks if you need more space. Remove the cup holder and install it on an iron wire of different height to adjust the height of the cup holder. The cutlery basket is made of two foldable halves. It is possible to use the cutlery basket either open or folded. You can use the cutlery basket with the cover open.
- Page 26: Preparing and loading dishes Consider buying utensils which are identified as dishwasher-proof. For delicate items, select a program with the lowest possible temperature. To prevent damage, do not take glass and cutlery out of the dishwasher immediately after the program has ended. Cutlery with wooden, horn china or mother-of-pearl handles are not suitable. Plastic items that are not heat resistant are not suitable. Some types of glasses can become dull after a large number of washes. Recommendations for loading the dishwasher include scraping off any large amounts of leftover food. For best performance, follow loading guidelines. Items such as cups, glasses, pots/pans, etc. should be faced downwards. Dishes and items of cutlery must not lie inside one another, or cover each other.
- Page 27: To avoid damage, glasses should not touch one another. Please do not overload your dishwasher. Very small items should not be washed in the dishwasher as they could easily fall through the basket. Items will be hot! To prevent damage, do not take glass and cutlery out of the dishwasher for around 15 minutes after the program has ended. The loading pattern in the illustration is recommended for the design of the basket. Cups and glasses face downwards. Plates face the back of each other, as do side plates, soup plates, and saucers. The loading pattern is used for the Standards Wash Test (AS/NZS 2007.1). Detergent chute.
- Page 28: Loading the cutlery basket You can place each knife, spoon, or fork separately into the spoon stands in the basket’s covers to prevent chipping and discoloration. Always load sharp utensils with the sharp end pointing down. Do not let any item extend through the bottom. Capacity: 7 place settings per drawer Wash Program: ECO Detergent quantity: 23.75g Rinse Aid setting: D3
- Page 29: To shorten the drying time, the drawer can be opened approx. 50mm at the end of the wash cycle. This however is not compulsory. The wash load will dry completely given the drying time suggested in the table on page 21. The chemicals in dishwasher detergent are necessary to remove, dissolve and help dispose of all the soils from the wash load. Only specific electric dishwasher detergent is capable of doing this. Dishwasher detergent is dangerous. Avoid skin and eye contact. Keep the dishwasher detergent out of reach of children. Rinse aid is added during the final rinse to assist the wash load drying and to prevent spots and streaks on glassware. For guaranteed excellent drying results, always use a branded rinse aid. Refill the dispenser when either the level is at the low level mark by the indicator window, or when the display indicates the rinse aid symbol.
- Page 30: Undo the plug by turning it anticlockwise. Fill the dispenser slowly to avoid spillage. Each dispenser will take 300ml from empty. It is important to clean up any spills of rinse aid, as it will cause excessive foaming in the wash cycle. To achieve the best drying result, the dispenser can be adjusted by the user. There are 5 levels of adjustment, the factory setting is D3. If the dishes are not drying properly, the setting of D4 or D5 will be required. If there are sticky whitish stains on your dishes, the dispenser can be set back to either D2 or D1. Switch on the dishwasher by pressing the Power button. Press the Start/Pause button to select the proper set according to your using habits.
- Page 31: Operating the appliance The table below shows which programs are best for the levels of food residue on them and how much detergent is needed. Program details include water temperature, energy usage, water usage, detergent required, running time, and drying time. Auto wash programs vary in temperature and detergent requirements. Intensive wash options are available for different temperature settings. Drying times differ based on the selected wash program. Detergent requirements are specified in grams or tablets for each program. The table provides information on energy and water usage for each wash cycle. Rinse programs are included for various temperature settings. Super fast wash and dry options are available with specific detergent needs. The document outlines the efficiency of different wash cycles based on food residue levels.
- Page 32: Program information includes water temperature, energy usage, detergent required, running time, and drying time. The test cycle is in accordance with AS/NZS 2007.1 for comparability testing. To select a drawer, close it and press the power button. After selecting a drawer, the response light will turn on, displaying the corresponding program and information. All buttons except the power button operate only for the selected drawer. To start a wash cycle, select the drawer and press the program button. Press the start/pause button to begin the dishwasher cycle. You can switch to another drawer while one is running, but must wait 5 seconds before switching back. If two drawers are running, both indicators will light up. The display will show the finished cycle information for 5 minutes before switching to the currently running cycle.
- Page 33: Changing the program once started requires that the wash program has not been running long. Ensure that the wash water is still present and has not drained out. To change the program, press the Start/Pause button to pause the washing, then press the Program button for more than 3 seconds to cancel the program. Select the desired program and press the Start/Pause button to start the dishwasher. You can add items while a wash is in progress, but if the machine is no longer in the wash cycle, added items may not be washed properly. Check that the machine is not rinsing before adding items. To add items, pause the washing, wait 5 seconds, open the drawer, add the extra items, and close the drawer. It is dangerous to open the drawer mid-cycle due to hot steam. Do not force open the drawer while the dishwasher is operating; instead, press the Start/Pause button and wait a few seconds. If the power is interrupted during a wash program, the dishwasher will continue to the end of the program when power is restored.
- Page 34: Maintenance and cleaning are essential for improving dishwasher performance and longevity. Disconnect the dishwasher from the power supply before cleaning or maintenance. Clean spills on the outside of the dishwasher as they occur with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using benzene, wax, thinner, chlorine bleach, or alcohol on the dishwasher. Do not clean the dishwasher by sprinkling water over it or letting water contact electrical parts. For stainless steel door panels, use a stainless steel cleaner with a soft cloth. The filtering system traps coarse debris and may clog if not checked regularly. Clean the filters under running water as needed. Do not over tighten the filters when replacing them. Never use the dishwasher without filters, as improper replacement can damage dishes and reduce performance.
- Page 35: Lift up the handles and remove the plate support. Rotate the Cylinder filter counter-clockwise. Lift the Cylinder filter upwards and out from under the basket. Pull forward the Fine filter. Tilt the Fine filter and remove it from under the basket. Rinse with running water. For a more thorough clean, use a soft cleaning brush. Reinstall the filters in reverse order making sure the Fine filter locks into place. Rotate the Cylinder filter clockwise to the close arrow.
- Page 36: Spray arms If you are in a hard water area, it is necessary to clean the spray arms regularly. Hard water chemicals will clog the spray arm jets and bearings. To clean the spray arms, follow the instructions below. Wash the arms in soapy and warm water and use a soft brush to clean the jets. After cleaning, replace it in the opposite direction.
- Page 37: Caring for the dishwasher involves taking precautions to avoid damage from freezing temperatures. If the inside temperature can drop below zero, turn off the mains power to the dishwasher. Turn off the water supply and disconnect the water inlet hose, draining the water inside before reconnecting. Remove the coarse filters in the tubs and soak up all water possible with a sponge before reassembling. Only use gentle cleaning products on the exterior of the dishwasher, avoiding solvents or abrasive compounds. Products specifically for cleaning the stainless steel interior are effective in restoring its original brightness. For long-term storage, disconnect the power supply and water supply. Remove the coarse filters and soak up all water possible with a sponge to reduce the chance of odors developing inside the tubs.
- Page 38: Troubleshooting tips provide guidance before calling for service. Check for power issues if the dishwasher won't start. Ensure the power cord is plugged into a live power point and turned on. Verify that the water supply hose is connected and turned on. Inspect the drain hose for kinks or blockages. Clogged filters may prevent proper operation; check and clean them carefully. Select a more intensive wash program if items are not clean. Ensure the spray arm is not obstructed by wash items. Check for adequate spacing between items in the loading pattern. Make sure filters are correctly in place and inspect the spray arm for blockages.
