The machine is automatically turned off after program completion or if the program is not started for energy saving.
- Page 36: InnerClean Leave your dishes in the machine for about 15 minutes to allow them to cool down after they are washed. Your dishes will dry in a shorter time if you leave the door of your machine ajar during this period. This program is recommended to be operated every 1-2 months for machine cleaning and necessary hygiene. The program should be operated while the machine is empty. It is recommended to use special machine cleaning agents for efficient results. Do not use this program to clean dishes as it operates at high temperatures, which is harmful for the dishes. If mains water is cut or the water inlet tap is turned off, the machine cannot take water in and the E:02 icon will flash. When the water is restored, the E:02 icon will disappear and the washing program resumes. If the machine intakes too much water or there is leakage, the E:01 icon will flash on the program indicator. If the E:01 icon does not disappear, there is a permanent fault and the authorized service should be contacted.
- Page 37: Detergent can be powder, liquid/gel, or tablet. Use only detergents specifically made for dishwashers. Avoid detergents containing chlorine and phosphate for environmental safety. Pay attention to warnings on detergent packaging for better results. Close the detergent dispenser lid until you hear a click. Do not put solvents in the detergent dispenser due to explosion risk. Add detergent just before operating the machine. Refer to the Program Table for suggested detergent amounts based on water hardness and selected program. Level markings in the detergent dispenser help measure the appropriate amount. One tablet is sufficient if using detergent tablets.
- Page 38: When you switch to powder detergent from tablet detergent, ensure that salt and rinse aid reservoirs are full. Use powder or liquid/gel detergent in short programs without prewash. Set the water hardness to the highest level and perform an empty run. After the empty washing cycle, review the user manual and readjust the water hardness level to suit the water supply. Some tablet detergents contain special-purpose components such as glass and stainless steel protectors. Water softening salt and rinse aid must be used together with the detergent if the water hardness level is above a certain level. Make the appropriate rinse aid settings. Rinse aid used in dishwashers increases drying efficiency and prevents water or lime stains. Fill the rinse aid reservoir until the MAX level. Contact the detergent manufacturer if you notice limescale spots on your glasses after using a tablet detergent.
- Page 39: Slightly press the point of the reservoir lid to close it. If there are stains on tableware items after washing, the level must be increased. If there is a blue trace after wiping them by hand, it must be decreased. This is set to position 3 as factory default. The rinse aid adjustment is described under “Adjusting the amount of rinse aid” in the section for operating the machine. Wipe clean any spilled rinse aid outside the reservoir. Rinse aid that spilled accidentally will cause foaming and it will eventually decrease washing performance.
- Page 40: Once you've completed the registration process, you can use all HomeWhiz supported appliances in your house through this account. Under the “Devices” section you can see the appliances paired with your account. You can check your dishwasher and learn about its status via your smart device with the HomeWhiz function. HomeWhiz only runs on a frequency band of 2.4GHz. You can monitor your machine through the application when the function is not selected. - Page 43: Adjusting the water softening system improves cleaning, rinsing, and drying performance. Determine the hardness level of your supply water using the supplied test strip. Follow specific steps to test the water hardness level. Access the settings menu by long pressing the Menu key after switching on the machine. Adjust the water hardness level according to the hardness of the supply water. Refer to the water hardness level adjustment table for correct settings. Different hardness levels correspond to specific grains per gallon and German/French water hardness measurements. If supply water hardness exceeds 154 gpg, consider using water purification devices. No salt is needed if the hardness level is below 22 gpg, indicated by the No Salt Warning Indicator. Your settings will be saved automatically after exiting the settings menu.
- Page 44: If the water hardness level adjustment is set to level 1, the “No salt warning indicator” will illuminate continuously although it is not necessary to use salt. If you move your house, it is necessary to readjust the water hardness level of your machine according to the hardness level of the supply water in your new location. Water softening system needs to be regenerated in order for the product to operate with the same performance continuously. Dishwasher salt is used for this purpose. Use only special softening salts produced particularly for dishwashers in your machine. It is recommended to use granule- or powder-formed softening salts in the water softening system. Do not use salts that do not completely dissolve in water such as table salt or rock salt. Fill the salt reservoir with salt by using the salt funnel. To speed up the dissolution rate of salt in water, stir it with a spoon. Add salt before operating the machine.
- Page 45: You can put about 4.4 pounds of softening salt into the salt reservoir. Replace the lid and tighten it when the reservoir is full. You need to add salt right before starting the machine. Overflowing salty water will be flushed immediately, preventing the risk of corrosion in the machine. If you do not start washing immediately, run your machine empty in the shortest program. Different salt brands have different particle sizes, and water hardness may vary. Dissolution of the salt in water may take a couple of hours. The salt indicator remains on for a while after adding salt into the machine.
- Page 46: Cleaning the stainless steel doors requires a soft cloth and a cleaner made for stainless steel, applied in the direction of the grain. Before cleaning or maintenance, switch off the appliance, disconnect the mains plug, and turn off the water tap. Do not repair or replace any part of the dishwasher unless specifically recommended by the manual; repairs should be done by an authorized service agent. Regularly clean the door gasket with a damp cloth and a gentle household cleaner to remove food particles and debris. To avoid slipping, keep the floor around the dishwasher clean and dry, and ensure the appliance is free from combustible materials. If the dishwasher is not in use for an extended period, check that the baskets are empty, keep the inside clean, and leave the door cracked open for air circulation. Cleaning your dishwasher at regular intervals ensures longer product life and reduces the risk of recurring problems. Always disconnect the power to the machine before cleaning. When cleaning the underside of the main filter, take care on the sharp outer edge to avoid injuries. Abrasive cleaners and scouring pads can damage the dishwasher's decorative door.
- Page 47: Cleaning the filters at least once a week is necessary for efficient operation. Check for food residues on the filters. Remove food residues and clean filters under running water. Turn the micro filter and coarse filter assembly counterclockwise to remove it. Clean all three filters under tap water using a brush. Replace the metal/plastic filter after cleaning. Ensure the coarse filter is properly seated in the microfilter. Turn the coarse filter clockwise until a “click” sound is heard. Do not use the dishwasher without the filter. Incorrect placement of the filters will reduce washing efficiency.
- Page 48: Cleaning the wash arms is essential for maintaining machine efficiency. Clean the impellers at least once a week for optimal operation. Damages caused by impurities in the water supply can be prevented with a filter attached to the water inlet hose. Regularly check and clean the filter and hose as necessary. Ensure the holes on the lower impeller are not clogged; if they are, remove and clean it. To clean the filter, turn off the tap and remove the hose. Clean the filter under running tap water before reinstalling it. Check the lower impeller assembly for clogs and clean if necessary. To remove the lower impeller assembly, hold it by the designated points and pull up. Follow the reverse steps to reinstall the impeller assembly after cleaning.
- Page 49: Do not try to rotate the impeller by holding its ends. Trying to rotate the end sections may cause the gear system within the impeller to break. Check if the holes on the upper impeller are clogged. If they are clogged, remove and clean the impeller. Turn its nut to left to remove the upper impeller. Make sure that the nut is tightened well when installing the upper impeller.
- Page 50: Troubleshooting Machine does not start. Check if the power cable is plugged in. Check the circuit breaker in your house. Make sure that the water inlet tap is open. Make sure that you have closed the door of the machine. Make sure that you have turned on the machine by pressing the On / Off button. Dishes are not washed clean Load the dishes as described in the user manual. Select a program with a higher temperature and cycle time. Prior to starting the program, turn the lower and upper wash arms by hand to make sure that they rotate freely. Clean the wash arms regularly as illustrated in section “Cleaning and Care”. Check if the filter system is clean. Do not overload the baskets in excess of their capacity. Adjust the amount of detergent according to the soiling degree of your dishes and/or program definitions. Check the rinse aid indicator and add rinse aid if necessary. Make sure that the detergent dispenser lid is closed tightly after adding detergent. Dishes are not dry at the end of cycle Place your dishes in a way that no water will accumulate in them. Check the rinse aid indicator and add rinse aid if necessary.
- Page 51: Machine is unloaded right after the program is over. Do not unload your machine right after washing process is completed. Slightly open the door and wait for evacuation of the steam inside for a while. Unload the dishes after the pieces cool down to a touchable level. Start unloading process from the lower basket. Selected program is unsuitable. Since rinsing temperature is low at program with short duration, drying performance will also be low.
