6.5 End of a cleaning programme

WARNING! Wait a few minutes before you open the door as hot damp

may escape. RISK OF SCALDING!

1. An acoustic signal sounds at the end of a cleaning programme.⁴⁹The operational

status indicator of the appliance goes off.

2. Switch off the appliance using the «ON /OFF » -BUTTON.

3. Close the tap!

4. Open the door carefully.

5. Wait approx. 15 minutes before you take out the dishes. The dishes are still hot

and will break easily.

6. It is normal that the appliance is wet inside.

7. Environmental protection

7.1 Environmental protection: disposal

❖ Appliances bearing this symbol « » must not be disposed of together with

household waste throughout the EU. To prevent potential damage to the

environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal and to promote

the sustainable reuse of material resources, responsibly supply the appliance to a

recycling centre.

7.2 Environmental protection: energy saving

❖ Try to load the appliance up to its particular maximum capacity. Smaller loads are

uneconomical.

❖ For smaller loads, use the programme function «HALF LOAD ».⁵⁰

❖ Ensure that the installation room is well ventilated.

❖ The pre-rinsing of dishes leads to increased water and energy consumption and

is not recommended.

❖ Cleaning dishes in a household dishwasher generally consumes less energy and

water during the utilisation phase than cleaning them manually (if the household

dishwasher is used according to the instructions).
