- Page 4: Safety information includes immediate hazards that can result in severe personal injury or death. Warnings indicate hazards or unsafe practices that could lead to severe personal injury or death. Cautions highlight hazards or unsafe practices that could result in minor personal injury. Important safety instructions must be followed when using the dishwasher. All instructions should be read before using the dishwasher. The dishwasher should only be used for its intended function. Only recommended detergents or wetting agents should be used, and they must be kept out of children's reach. Sharp items should be loaded carefully to avoid damaging the door seal. Knives and utensils with sharp points must be loaded with points down or placed horizontally. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
- Page 5: Safety information includes important guidelines for the proper use of the dishwasher. Do not abuse, sit on, or stand on the door or dish rack of the dishwasher. Remove the door to the washing compartment when removing an old dishwasher from service or discarding it. Dispose of packing materials properly. Use the dishwasher only for its intended function. During installation, the power supply must not be excessively or dangerously bent or flattened. The appliance must be connected to the water mains using new hose sets. The maximum number of place settings to be washed is 12. Disconnect electrical power and water intake hose to the dishwasher before cleaning and/or servicing. Hydrogen gas may be produced in a hot-water system that has not been used for two weeks or more.
- Page 6: Safety information This appliance must be grounded to reduce the risk of electric shock. Grounding provides a path of least resistance for electric current. The appliance is equipped with a cord having an equipment-grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an appropriate outlet that is installed and grounded according to local codes. Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in a risk of electric shock. Check with a qualified electrician if you are in doubt about proper grounding. Do not modify the plug provided with the appliance. If the power supply cord is too short, do not use an extension cord. Have a qualified electrician install an outlet near the appliance.
- Page 7: Safety information Electrical shock hazard - Disconnect electrical power before installing dishwasher. Failure to do so can result in death or electric shock. The installation of the pipes and electrical equipment should be done by professionals. The installation position of the dishwasher should be near the existing inlet and drain hoses and power cord. One side of the cabinet sink should be chosen to facilitate the connection of drain hoses of the dishwasher. Position the appliance in the desired location. The dishwasher is equipped with water supply and drain hoses that can be positioned to the right or the left. Do not use an extension cord or an adapter plug with this appliance. Do not, under any circumstances, cut or remove the ground connection from the power cord. Tip over hazard - Do not use dishwasher until completely installed.
- Page 8: Safety information includes important warnings and cautions. Before disposing of an old appliance, remove the door or lid to prevent suffocation hazards for children. Harsh chemicals and steam cleaning products can damage the dishwasher and pose health risks. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or abrasive cloths on the dishwasher's exterior door panel to prevent damage. Users should familiarize themselves with shutting off the incoming water and power supply. Ensure the food disposer is empty before running the dishwasher if it drains into one. NSF/ANSI 184 certified residential dishwashers are not suitable for licensed food establishments. Protect the dishwasher from freezing to avoid damage to the fill valve, which is not covered by warranty. The dishwasher is not intended for outdoor use.
- Page 9: Safety information is crucial for the proper use of the dishwasher. Electrical shock hazard requires the dishwasher to be electrically grounded. Ground wire must be connected to the green ground connector in the terminal box. Using an extension cord is not permitted. Failure to follow electrical instructions can result in serious consequences. The dishwasher operates on a 120 V, 60 Hz, 15- or 20-amp fused electrical supply. A time-delay fuse or circuit breaker is recommended for safety. The dishwasher should be installed in a location protected from the elements. Water supply temperature should be maintained between 120°F to 150°F. Water pressure must be between 20 and 80 psi for adequate flow.

- Page 11: Set up & use Dishwasher loading Dish preparation involves scraping away large pieces of food and loosening burned-on foods before loading. Empty liquids from glasses and cups to prevent staining. Foods like mustard and tomato-based products may discolor stainless steel and plastics if left for too long. For best washing performance, the upper rack should be in the raised position. Ensure the food disposer is completely empty before starting the dishwasher. The upper rack is designed for cups, glasses, small plates, bowls, and plastic items marked dishwasher safe. For best results, place soiled surfaces of bowls, cups, and saucepans facing down or toward the center. Make sure loaded dishes do not interfere with the rotation of the middle spray arm.
- Page 12: Set up & use Loading the bottom rack The bottom rack is designed to load plates, soup bowls, plates, saucers, and cookware. The adjustable rack space will allow you to load maximum 13 inch items. Warning: Large items should be placed along the edge so they do not interfere with the middle spray arm rotation. The fold-down tines in the bottom rack make it easy to load those extra large and hard-to-fit items. Loading the silverware basket The silverware basket is divisible into three separate modules that can be used in both upper and lower racks. Warning: Do not let any item extend through the bottom. Adding a dish To add or remove items after wash cycle starts, open door slightly and wait a few seconds until wash action stops before completely opening. Close door firmly to latch and cycle will automatically resume.
- Page 13: Set up and use. The upper rack height can be easily adjusted to accommodate loading taller dishes in either rack. To accommodate taller dishes in the bottom rack, there are 2 positions available. The fold-down tines in the rack make easy loading for those extra large and hard-to-fit items. The tines may be left up for normal use or folded down for more flexible loading. Fold down for more space to load large pots or pans. Height should be adjusted without dishes in the racks.
- Page 14: Set up & use Filling the detergent dispenser The upper rack height can be easily adjusted to accommodate loading taller dishes in either rack. Rinse aid greatly improves drying and reduces water spots and filming. The rinse aid dispenser automatically releases a measured amount of rinse aid during the last rinse. If spotting and poor drying is a problem, increase the amount of rinse aid dispensed by rotating the dial to a higher number. The Rinse Aid light is illuminated at the beginning and end of the cycle indicating that it is time to refill. Your dishwasher is designed to use liquid rinse aid. Rinse agent removes spots and prevents new film build up on your dishes, glasses, flatware, cookware and plastic. Try to keep the rinse aid full, but do not overfill. Add rinse agent until the indicator window looks full.
- Page 15: Set up & use With the dishwasher door closed, you can press the PRO button to select the wash cycle. A light on the display will indicate which cycle has been selected. Select from the following by pressing the “Options” button. Heavy wash is for hard-to-clean, heavily soiled dishes, pots, pans, and dishes. To sanitize your dishes and glassware, select the Sanitize option. Normal wash is for regularly soiled dishes or glasses. Light wash is for lightly soiled and pre-rinsed dishes and silverware. Hi-temp wash can increase the water temperature in the main wash and rinse. Eco cycle can determine the condition of soil on the dishes and initiate the optimal cycle. Rinse wash is for pre-rinsing dishes or glasses without using detergent.
- Page 16: Delay Start allows you to automatically start your dishwasher for a 1 to 24 hour delay. To cancel the Delay Start option and begin the cycle before the delay period is over, press the Start/Cancel pad. When the sanitize option is selected, the temperature of the water will reach a maximum of 70°C (158°F). The sanitize cycle is NSF certified. Push the door firmly closed; the door latches automatically. To start, press the Start/Cancel key once; the wash action begins. To cancel when a cycle is running, press the Start/Cancel pad once. You can add more dishes before the main wash starts if the main wash section of the detergent dispenser is still closed. The clean light will turn on at the end of the cycle. You can lock all controls to prevent children from accidentally changing the dishwasher cycle.
- Page 17: Set up & use The remaining running time could suddenly increase or drop several minutes. This means the Smart Sensor has checked the soil level and determined if additional water fills are needed or if water fills can be eliminated. Description of cycle Running time with Hi Running time with Sanitize NSF certification is Normal/AUTO Cycle with the sanitize option selected. The CU test is Normal Cycle with the hi temp option selected.
- Page 18: Cleaning and care are essential for maintaining the dishwasher's performance. Regularly clean the spray arms to prevent clogging from hard water chemicals. Wash the spray arms in soapy, warm water and use a soft brush for the jets. The stainless steel tub will not rust or corrode even if scratched or dented. To remove the upper or middle spray arm, unscrew the nut clockwise. The Cylinder Filter collects large items and needs regular cleaning for optimal performance. To clean the Cylinder Filter, remove the lower rack, rotate the filter, lift it out, and rinse it. Use a damp non-abrasive cloth to clean spots on the steel inner door and tub. Allow the heating element to cool before cleaning the interior to avoid burns.
- Page 19: Cleaning and care instructions are provided. Remove the Fine Filter from the dishwasher tub bottom. First, remove the bottom spray arm to access the Fine Filter. Flush the Fine Filter under running water before replacing it.
- Page 20: Troubleshooting & warranty Troubleshoot your problem by using the chart below. If the appliance still does not work properly, contact customer service or the nearest authorized service center. Customers must never troubleshoot internal components. Dishwasher won’t start: Door may not be closed properly. Power supply or power line is not connected. Delay Start option has been selected. Dishwasher beeps at the end of the cycle: Select the proper cycle as indicated by the manual. Rinse Aid light on: The rinse aid level is low. Dishwasher operates too long: The dishwasher is connected to cold water. Dishes are not clean enough: Water pressure is temporarily low. Dishes are loaded too close together.
- Page 21: Troubleshooting & warranty Dishes not dry enough Fill rinse aid dispenser or increase the amount of rinse aid. Spots and film on dishes For extremely hard water install a water softener. Etching Use less detergent if you have soft water. Detergent left in dispenser cup Use fresh detergent. Water remains in the dishwasher Select the proper cycle as indicated by the manual. Dishwasher does not drain properly Check to see if you have an air gap. Suds in the tub Make sure to use only automatic dishwasher detergent. Dishwasher leaks Make sure to use only automatic dishwasher detergent. Black or gray marks on dishes Choose a higher cycle.
- Page 22: Troubleshooting & warranty Possible causes for coffee and tea soil include using a spot cleaner to remove the soil. Reddish stains may be caused by some tomato food; using the rinse only cycle right after loading can decrease staining. Noises from the detergent cup opening or drain pump sound are normal. A hard object entering the wash module may cause noise; it should stop once the object is ground up. If noise persists after a complete cycle, call for service. The dishwasher won’t fill if the water valve is turned off; check if the water valve is turned on. A door latch that is not properly seated can prevent the dishwasher from filling; ensure the door is closed. Error codes will display when malfunctions occur, indicating possible causes. E1 indicates longer inlet time due to faucets not being open or water pressure being too low. E4 indicates overflow, which may be caused by a leak in the dishwasher.
