A Quick Guide to Getting Started  
Before you begin  
Before starting your dishwasher  
Check that all plastic ties, packing, and literature are removed from  
the wash arms, baskets and dispenser. Make sure your top rack,  
bottom rack, and silverware basket are in place. Check your Use &  
Care Manual. If dishwasher is connected to a food disposal, check  
that the knock-out plug is removed or it will prevent proper draining.  
Fill Rinse Aid Dispenser  
Rinse aid greatly improves drying and reduces water spots. Twist off  
the rinse aid dispenser cap and fill until the indicator reaches full,  
then replace cap.  
Care and cleaning  
• Clean stainless steel door and  
handles with warm soapy water and  
a dishcloth. Rinse and dry thoroughly  
using a soft cloth.

FAQs  
• Why hasn’t the dishwasher run?  
The start of the cycle times out if the door is not closed immediately  
(within 4 seconds) after pressing START.  
Note: If a running cycle is paused, the floor light indicator stays ON  
until the door is opened. The floor light indicator turns off if the  
door is closed without pressing START.  
• How do I know when the dishwasher cycle is complete?  
During a running cycle, the blue LED shines on the floor. You’ll  
know that the cycle is complete if you see the white LED light  
shining on the floor.

  • Page 2: Getting started Select the wash cycle and dry options appropriate for your load. Note that the LEDs illuminate your selections. Open the door and select the wash cycle and options. Press START and immediately close the dishwasher door to start the cycle. Select Cycle & Options Favorite allows you to save your preferred cycle and options into one button. Rinse is for rinsing dishes that will be washed later. Air dry reduces energy consumption by not utilizing the heating element during the drying cycle. Normal is for regularly soiled dishes and silverware. Max dry option utilizes the heating element during the drying cycle. Delicate is for delicate China, Crystal, wine, and cocktail glasses.
