.. Opening the door  
Hold the recessed grip and open the door by pulling it towards you. Open the  
door out fully.  
If the door is opened during operation the wash cycle will automatically be inter-  
rupted.  
.. Closing the door  
Push the dish rack fully into the appliance.

Press on the door until you hear it lock into place.  
.. Adding salt to the appliance  
Dishwasher salt (regeneration salt) is used to harden water from a water hardness of  
1-2 “medium”.  
It is advisable to add dishwasher salt.  
NOTICE!  
Possible material damage!  
Using an incorrect salt additive may damage the appli-  
ance.  
Always use dishwasher salt/regeneration salt that is  
suitable for the dishwasher.  
Normal household salt is not suitable and can dam-  
age the appliance.

Remove the dish rack and twist the lid off the salt container (11).  
Fill the salt container (11) with approx. 700 ml water before the first use.  
Insert the funnel into the opening on the salt container and fill it with 1 kg of  
dishwasher salt. It is normal for water to come out of the salt container (11).
