button (15) to switch on the appliance and make settings. Wait ap-

Then press and hold the P button (25) for approx. 5 seconds to set the salt con-  
sumption according to the table above.  
Press the P button several times until the required water hardness level (H1, H2,  
H3, H4, H5 or H6) is set. The setting is saved after 5 seconds if no further buttons  
are pressed.  
.. Adding rinse aid  
Rinse aid prevents water droplets and deposits from forming on the dishes in the  
last part of the wash program. Rinse aid also ensures that the dishes dry better and  
faster.

The appliance can operate with liquid rinse aid. The container is located next to the  
detergent container (3/4) on the inside of the door.  
NOTICE!  
Risk of damage to the appliance  
Using incorrect rinse aid may damage the appliance.  
Only fill with pure rinse aid for dishwashers. Rinse  
aids with washing or other additives are not suitable.

Open the appliance door.  
Twist the lid of the rinse aid container (6) anticlockwise to the left arrow and re-  
move the lid (see Fig. 9).  
Fill the rinse aid up to the "MAX" mark (see Fig. 10). Make sure the container  
does not overflow.  
Replace the lid with the arrow tip onto the left arrow again and twist it clockwise  
onto the right arrow (see Fig. 11).  
Rinse aid must be replenished if the rinse aid warning light (19) lights up.
