- Page 7: Option buttons and programme button are part of the interface. The rinse aid indicator shows when the rinse aid dispenser needs refilling. The salt indicator indicates when the salt container needs refilling. The self clean indicator signals when the appliance requires internal cleaning. The drying phase indicator is on during a programme with a drying phase and flashes during operation. The full express 60' programme is suitable for lightly soiled items. The mix 60° programme is for normally soiled items. The intense 60° programme is designed for heavily soiled items. The eco programme is the longest and most efficient in terms of energy and water use. The express 50° programme is the shortest for lightly soiled loads.
- Page 8: Cutlery with normal soil is the standard programme for test institutes. The extreme option improves the dishwashing results by increasing the wash temperature and duration. The auto programme automatically adjusts the dishwashing cycle to the type of load. The crystal option protects delicate loads, particularly glassware, from damage by preventing rapid temperature changes. You can adjust the programme selection to your needs by activating options. The programmes overview includes various settings for different types of dishware and soil levels. The dishwashing phases include prewash, dishwashing, intermediate rinse, final rinse, and drying. The programme is used to assess compliance with the Ecodesign Commission Regulation (EU) 2019/2022. This programme also assesses compliance with the UK Ecodesign for Energy-Related Products and Energy Information Regulations. Different programmes are designed for fresh, lightly dried-on, and heavily soiled dishware.
- Page 9: Programme phases include prewash, dishwashing, intermediate rinse, final rinse, and drying. Different programmes are available for various degrees of soil, including normal and lightly dried-on. The self-clean programme is designed for cleaning the appliance interior. Automatic door opening occurs during the drying phase. Consumption values for water, energy, and duration are provided for each programme. The pressure and temperature of water, mains supply variations, options, quantity of dishes, and degree of soil can affect consumption values. Values for programmes other than ECO are indicative only. Information for test institutes is available upon request for conducting performance tests. Include the model from the rating plate in requests for performance test information. Refer to Care and Cleaning and Basic settings for additional details.
- Page 10: Basic settings allow you to configure the appliance according to your needs. You can adjust the level of the water softener based on the water hardness in your area, with a factory setting of 5L. The rinse aid empty notification can be activated or deactivated, with a factory setting of 1d. You can activate or deactivate the acoustic signal for the end of a programme, with a factory setting of 0b. Dry Assist can be activated or deactivated, with a factory setting of 1o. The sound of the buttons when pressed can be activated or deactivated, with a factory setting of 1F. Instructions on how to configure the appliance are provided further in this chapter. When in setting mode, the display shows a digit and a letter for each setting. Use the Previous and Next buttons to switch between basic settings and change their values. You can enter setting mode before starting a programme, but not while a programme is running.
- Page 11: The appliance returns to the programme selection. The saved settings remain valid until you change them again. The water softener removes minerals from the water supply, which would have a negative effect on the washing results and on the appliance. Water hardness is measured in equivalent scales. The water softener should be adjusted according to the hardness of the water in your area. Set the right level of the water softener to assure good washing results. Press and hold simultaneously to exit setting mode. Do not use salt at this level. Regardless of the type of detergent used, set the proper water hardness level to keep the salt refill indicator active. The new setting is saved.
- Page 12: The rinsing of the softener ends with a complete drain. Multi-tabs containing salt are not effective enough to soften hard water. Each performed softener rinse may prolong the programme duration by another 5 minutes. The resin of the softener device needs to be regenerated regularly. This regeneration process is automatic and part of the normal dishwasher operation. The consumption values are determined in line with applicable standards under specific conditions. A new regeneration process will be initiated when the prescribed quantity of water has been used. The rinse aid helps to dry the dishes without streaks and stains. When the rinse aid chamber is empty, the rinse aid indicator turns on. Dry Assist improves the drying results by automatically opening the appliance door during the drying phase.
- Page 13: Caution: Do not try to close the appliance door within 2 minutes after automatic opening, as this can cause damage. Caution: If children have access to the appliance, deactivate Dry Assist to avoid danger from automatic door opening. Key tones: The control panel buttons make a click sound when pressed, which can be deactivated. Dry Assist is automatically activated with all programmes except for specific ones. The duration of the drying phase and door opening time vary depending on the selected programme and options. Before first use, adjust the level of the water softener according to the hardness of the water supply. To fill the salt container, turn the cap counterclockwise, add 1 litre of water, and fill with 1 kg of salt. After starting the programme, the appliance recharges the resin in the water softener for up to 5 minutes before the washing phase starts. Use only regeneration salt for dishwashers; do not use kitchen salt. The salt is used to recharge the resin in the water softener and ensure good washing results.
- Page 14: Caution: The compartment is for rinse aid only. Do not fill it with detergent. Only use rinse aid designed specifically for dishwashers. Pour the rinse aid in the dispenser until the liquid reaches the fill level 'max'. Remove the spilled rinse aid with an absorbent cloth to prevent excessive foam formation. Water and salt can come out of the salt container when you fill it. To prevent corrosion, fill the salt container and then immediately start a complete dishwashing cycle with detergent. You can turn the selector of the released quantity between position 1 (lowest quantity) and position 4 or 6 (highest quantity). Open the water tap. Press and hold until the appliance is activated. Close the water tap when the programme is complete.
- Page 15: Press the release button to open the lid. Put the detergent, in powder or tablets, in the compartment. By default, options must be activated every time before you start a programme. If the programme has a prewash phase, put a small quantity of detergent on the inner part of the appliance door. Close the lid and ensure that the release button locks into position. It is not possible to activate or deactivate options while a programme is running. For information about the detergent dosage, refer to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging. Activating options often increases water and energy consumption as well as programme duration. The appliance senses the type of load and adjusts a suitable wash cycle. During the countdown, it is not possible to change the delay time and the programme selection.
- Page 16: The appliance returns to the programme selection. If the door is opened for more than 30 seconds during the drying phase, the running programme ends. The Auto Off function saves energy by switching the appliance off when it is not operating. When the programme is completed, the display shows 0:00. Make sure that items in the baskets do not touch or cover each other for optimal cleaning. Washing dishes in the dishwasher usually consumes less water and energy than washing by hand. Load the dishwasher to its full capacity to save water and energy. Do not pre-rinse dishes by hand as it increases water and energy consumption. Refill the salt container whenever necessary to prevent limescale buildup. Use the recommended dosage of detergent and rinse aid.
- Page 17: Using salt, rinse aid, and detergent is essential for optimal cleaning and drying results. Ensure that only dishwasher-specific products are used to avoid damage to the appliance. Check that the filters are clean and correctly installed before starting a program. Verify that the cap of the salt container is tight and that the spray arms are not clogged. Confirm there is enough salt and rinse aid unless using multi-tablets. The arrangement of items in the baskets should be correct to ensure effective cleaning. Use the appropriate quantity of detergent based on water hardness to avoid poor cleaning results. Do not wash non-dishwasher-safe materials, as they can be damaged. Ensure that the water softener level is set correctly to prevent rust on cutlery. Let tableware cool down before unloading, and always remove items from the lower basket first.
- Page 18: Care and cleaning Do not use abrasive products, abrasive cleaning pads, sharp tools, strong chemicals, scourer or solvents. Wipe clean the door, including the rubber gasket, once a week. Before any maintenance other than running the programme Self Clean, deactivate the appliance and disconnect the mains plug from the main socket. To maintain the performance of your appliance, use a cleaning product designed specifically for dishwashers at least once every two months. Dirty filters and clogged spray arms negatively affect the washing results. Self Clean is a programme designed to clean the appliance interior with optimal results. Check the filters and the sump after each use of the dishwasher for foreign objects. If unable to remove the foreign objects, contact an Authorised Service Centre. Clean the appliance with a moist soft cloth and only use neutral detergents. The filter system is made of 3 parts.
- Page 19: Make sure that there are no residues of food or soil in or around the edge of the sump. Put back in place the flat filter (A). Make sure that it is correctly positioned under the 2 guides. Turn the filter (B) counterclockwise and remove it. Reassemble the filters (B) and (C). Put back the filter (B) in the flat filter (A). Turn it clockwise until it locks. Remove the filter (C) out of filter (B). Remove the flat filter (A). Wash the filters.
- Page 20: Caution: An incorrect position of the filters can cause bad washing results and damage to the appliance. Cleaning the lower spray arm is recommended to prevent soil from clogging the holes, which can cause unsatisfactory washing results. To remove the lower spray arm, pull it upwards. Do not remove the upper spray arm. If the openings in the upper spray arm are clogged, remove the remaining particles of soil with a thin pointed object. Cleaning the ceiling spray arm is also recommended to prevent soil from clogging the holes. The ceiling spray arm is placed on the ceiling of the appliance and is installed in the delivery tube with the mounting element. Wash the spray arm under running water and use a thin pointed tool to remove particles of soil from the holes. Release the stoppers on the sides of the sliding rails of the cutlery drawer and pull the drawer out. To install the spray arm back, press it downwards.
- Page 21: Move the upper basket to the lowest level to reach the spray arm more easily. To detach the spray arm from the delivery tube, turn the mounting element counterclockwise and pull the spray arm downwards. Wash the spray arm under running water. Use a thin pointed tool to remove particles of soil from the holes. To install the spray arm back, insert the mounting element in the spray arm and fix it in the delivery tube by turning it clockwise. Install the cutlery drawer on the sliding rails and block the stoppers. Refer to the below table for information on possible problems. With some problems, the display shows an alarm code. Improper repair of the appliance may pose a danger to the safety of the user. The majority of problems that may occur can be solved without the need to contact an Authorised Service Centre.
