Complete Installation
Check that the power supply wire or cord does not touch
dishwasher motor or the lower part of the dishwasher tub.

Electrical Shock Hazard
Plug into a grounded 3 prong outlet.
Do not remove ground prong.
Do not use an adapter.

Do not use an extension cord.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in death,
fire, or electrical shock.
1. Connect rubber end (A) of drain hose to
air gap and cut if needed.

NOTE: Do not cut ribbed section.
58. Power supply cord – Plug into a grounded 3
prong outlet

2. Attach drain hose to air gap with large
drain hose clamp (provided). Use pliers
to squeeze clamp open and move into
position. If the drain hose was cut, use
a 11/2" to 2" (38 mm to 50 mm) screw-
type clamp (not provided).

3. Use a rubber hose (not provided) with
screw-type clamps (not provided) to
connect from waste tee to air gap.
Plug into a grounded 3-prong outlet.
59. Reconnect power
Reconnect electrical power at the fuse box or circuit breaker
box.
NOTE: With the access panel off, start the dishwasher and
allow it to complete the shortest wash cycle. After the first
2 minutes, unlatch door, wait 5 seconds, and then open door.
Check that there is water in the bottom of the dishwasher tub.
Check that dishwasher is working properly
