  • Page 7: 5. Programmes The order of the programmes in the table may not reflect their sequence on the control panel. Programme Dishwasher Degree of load Crockery, cutlery, pots, pans Dishwashing 50 °C Dishwashing 60 °C Fresh, lightly dried-on Cleaning the appliance interior Cleaning 70 °C AirDry ExtraPower GlassCare
  • Page 8: Programme dishwasher degree of load soil This programme offers the most efficient use of water and energy consumption for crockery and cutlery with normal soil. The appliance senses the degree of soil and the quantity of items in the baskets. This programme is designed to clean the inside of the appliance effectively and efficiently. It removes limescale and grease buildup. With this programme, you can quickly rinse off food remains from dishes and prevent odours forming in the appliance. This is the most silent programme. The wash pump works at a very low speed to reduce the noise generated by the appliance. Consumption values for water, energy, and duration are provided. The pressure and the temperature of the water, the variations of the mains supply, the options, the quantity of dishes, and the degree of soil can change the values. The values for programmes other than ECO are indicative only.
  • Page 9: Options prevent rapid changes in the dishwashing temperature of the selected programme and reduces it to 45 °C. Desired options must be activated every time before you start a programme. It is not possible to activate or deactivate options while a programme is running. ExtraPower improves the dishwashing results of the selected programme by increasing the wash temperature and duration. Not all options are compatible with each other; the appliance automatically deactivates non-compatible options. ExtraHygiene provides better cleaning results by keeping the temperature between 65 and 70 °C for at least 10 minutes during the last rinsing phase. Activating options can affect the water and energy consumption as well as the programme duration. GlassCare protects delicate loads, particularly glassware, from damage. The level of water softener should be set according to the water hardness. The level of rinse aid should be set according to the required dosage.
  • Page 10: As the appliance stores the saved settings, there is no need to configure it before every cycle. To enter user mode, press and hold simultaneously Delay and Option until the indicators flash and the display is blank. The appliance is in programme selection mode when the programme indicator is on and the display shows the programme duration. The water softener removes minerals from the water supply, which would have a negative effect on the washing results and on the appliance. The higher the content of these minerals, the harder your water is. Water hardness is measured in equivalent scales. The water softener should be adjusted according to the hardness of the water in your area. Set the right level of the water softener to assure good washing results. Make sure the appliance is in programme selection mode. Regardless of the type of detergent used, set the proper water hardness level to keep the salt refill indicator active.
  • Page 11: Regeneration process The resin of the softener device needs to be regenerated regularly. This process is automatic and is part of the normal dishwasher operation. A new regeneration process will be initiated between the final rinse and the programme end. All consumption values mentioned are determined in line with the currently applicable standard. The pressure and temperature of water can change the values. Make sure the appliance is in user mode to set the water softener level. The rinse aid helps to dry the dishes without streaks and stains. It is possible to set the released quantity of rinse aid between level 1 and level 8. The rinsing of the water softener may begin in the same cycle or at the beginning of the next programme. When the rinse aid chamber is empty, the rinse aid indicator is on, notifying to refill rinse aid.
  • Page 12: To deactivate the rinse aid dispenser and indicator, set the level of rinse aid to 0. The duration of the drying phase and the door opening time vary depending on the selected programme and options. Make sure the appliance is in user mode. When AirDry opens the door, the display shows the remaining time of the running programme. Do not try to close the appliance door within 2 minutes after automatic opening. This can cause damage to the appliance. If children have access to the appliance, we advise to deactivate AirDry. The automatic opening of the door may pose a danger. AirDry improves the drying results with less energy consumption. Make sure the appliance is in user mode before deactivating AirDry. Fill the salt container. Start a programme to remove any processing residuals that can still be inside the appliance.
  • Page 13: The salt container is essential for the water softener and washing results. Use rough salt designed for dishwashers only to avoid corrosion. Fill the salt container with 1 kg of salt after adding 1 litre of water for the first time. The rinse aid compartment is for rinse aid only; do not fill it with detergent. Only use rinse aid specifically designed for dishwashers. Ensure the rinse aid reaches the FILL marking in the dispenser. Remove any spilled rinse aid to prevent excessive foam formation. Daily use involves opening the water tap and checking the rinse aid indicator. Load the baskets and add detergent before starting a suitable programme. Check the salt indicator and fill the salt container if necessary.
  • Page 14: The function comes into operation. When the programme is complete. Starting a programme involves pressing the on/off button and ensuring the door is closed. Press Program until the indicator of the desired programme is on. Set the applicable options and press Start to begin the programme. Only use detergent designed specifically for dishwashers. Put the detergent in the compartment and close the lid securely. For delay start, set a programme and press Delay until the desired time is displayed. Do not fill the compartment with more than 30 ml of gel detergent. Opening the door while a programme is running stops the appliance and may affect energy consumption.
  • Page 15: Press simultaneously Delay and Option until the appliance is in programme selection mode. If the door is opened for more than 30 seconds during the drying phase, the running programme ends. Make sure that there is detergent in the detergent dispenser before you start a new programme. Do not try to close the appliance door within 2 minutes after AirDry automatically opens it as this may cause damage to the appliance. When the programme is complete, the Auto off function switches the appliance off automatically. Close the water tap when you cancel the delay start. Make sure that items in the baskets do not touch or cover each other for optimal cleaning. Washing dishes in the dishwasher usually consumes less water and energy than washing dishes by hand. Load the dishwasher to its full capacity to save water and energy. Do not pre-rinse dishes by hand as it increases water and energy consumption.
  • Page 16: When the programme is complete, adjust the water softener according to the water hardness in your area. Only use salt, rinse aid and detergent designed for dishwasher. Other products can cause damage to the appliance. In areas with hard and very hard water, we recommend using basic dishwasher detergent, rinse aid and salt separately for optimal cleaning and drying results. Always use the whole space of the baskets. Use the appliance to wash dishwasher-safe items only. Do not wash in the appliance items made of wood, horn, aluminium, pewter and copper as they could crack, warp, get discoloured or pitted. Detergent tablets do not fully dissolve with short programmes. Always use the correct quantity of detergent. Make sure that glass items do not touch each other. Before you start the selected programme, make sure that the filters are clean and correctly installed.
  • Page 17: Reassemble the filters (B) and (C). Put back the filter (B) in the flat filter (A). Remove the filter (C) out of filter (B). Wash the filters. An incorrect position of the filters can cause bad washing results and damage to the appliance. We recommend to clean the lower spray arm regularly to prevent soil from clogging the holes. Clogged holes can cause unsatisfactory washing results. Make sure that there are no residues of food or soil in or around the edge of the sump. Put back in place the flat filter (A). To remove the lower spray arm, pull it upwards.
  • Page 18: Wash the spray arm under running water. Use a thin pointed tool, e.g. a toothpick, to remove particles of soil from the holes. Pull out the upper basket. To detach the spray arm, turn the mounting element clockwise. To install the spray arm back, press it downwards. We recommend cleaning the upper spray arms regularly to prevent soil from clogging the holes. Clogged holes can cause unsatisfactory washing results. The upper spray arms are placed under the upper basket. Make sure that the mounting element locks into place. Insert the mounting element in the spray arm and fix it in the duct by turning it counterclockwise.
  • Page 19: Troubleshooting Improper repair of the appliance may pose a danger to the safety of the user. Any repairs must be performed by qualified personnel.
