  • Page 6: Product description includes the rinse aid dispenser, detergent dispenser, cutlery basket, lower basket, upper basket, beam-on-floor indicator, upper spray arms, lower spray arm, filters, rating plate, salt container, and air vent. Beam-on-floor is a light displayed on the floor below the appliance door, indicating the status of the appliance. A red light indicates when a programme starts and remains on during the programme. A green light indicates when the programme is complete, while a flashing red light signals a malfunction. The control panel features an on/off button, delay start button, display, MY TIME program selection bar, option buttons, and an AUTO Sense program button. The ECOMETER shows how the programme selection affects energy and water consumption, with more bars indicating lower consumption. ECO mode indicates the most environmentally friendly programme for normally soiled dishwashing loads.
  • Page 7: Indicators on the display include the rinse aid indicator, salt indicator, machine care indicator, and drying phase indicator. The rinse aid indicator is on when the rinse aid dispenser needs refilling. The salt indicator is on when the salt container needs refilling. The machine care indicator is on when the appliance needs internal cleaning with the machine care programme. The drying phase indicator is on when a programme with the drying phase is selected and flashes during operation. Programme selection includes options like My Time and Auto Sense, which adjusts based on soil degree and dish quantity. Extras can be activated to adjust programme selection, including Quick, ExtraSilent, and ExtraPower options. The ECO programme is the longest and most efficient for energy and water consumption. GlassCare prevents damage to delicate items by controlling temperature changes. Different programmes are suitable for various soil levels, from fresh and light to heavily soiled items.
  • Page 8: Programmes overview includes various dishwasher settings for different types of loads and soil degrees. The programme options include Quick, ExtraPower, GlassCare, and ECO. Each programme has specific phases such as dishwashing, intermediate rinse, final rinse, and drying. The temperature settings range from 50 °C to 70 °C depending on the programme selected. The AUTO Sense programme adjusts the wash based on the load. Machine Care is designed for cleaning the appliance interior. Refer to the Care and cleaning section for detailed instructions. Automatic door opening occurs during the drying phase for improved drying efficiency. Different programmes cater to various levels of soil, from fresh to heavily dried-on. AirDry is a feature included in multiple programmes for enhanced drying.
  • Page 9: Consumption values for water, energy, and duration are provided for various programmes. The values for programmes other than ECO are indicative only. You can configure the appliance by changing basic settings according to your needs. Adjust the level of the water softener according to the water hardness in your area. Adjust the level of the rinse aid according to the necessary dosage. Activate or deactivate the acoustic signal for the end of a programme. Activate or deactivate the AirDry feature. You can change the basic settings in setting mode. The order of the basic settings presented in the table is also the order of the settings on the ECOMETER. When the appliance is in setting mode, the bars of the ECOMETER represent available settings.
  • Page 10: The display shows the current setting value. Press OK to enter the setting. The current setting value flashes. You can navigate in setting mode using Previous and Next buttons. The water softener removes minerals from the water supply, which would have a negative effect on the washing results and on the appliance. Water hardness is measured in equivalent scales. The water softener should be adjusted according to the hardness of the water in your area. Regardless of the type of detergent used, set the right water softener level to ensure good washing results. Make sure the appliance is in setting mode. Multi-tabs containing salt are not effective enough to soften hard water.
  • Page 11: Water hardness is measured in various units including German degrees (°dH), French degrees (°fH), mmol/l, and mg/l (ppm). The water softener levels range from 1 to 10, with specific hardness values associated with each level. The water softener undergoes an automatic regeneration process. Rinse aid helps to dry dishes without streaks and stains and is automatically released during the hot rinse phase. An acoustic signal can be activated to indicate when the program is completed. The rinse aid indicator notifies when the rinse aid chamber is empty. For correct water softener operation, the resin needs to be regenerated regularly. Regeneration occurs based on the amount of water used since the last regeneration. The regeneration process may prolong the total duration of a program by 5 minutes. Consumption values are determined under standard laboratory conditions and can vary based on water temperature and pressure.
  • Page 12: AirDry improves the drying results. The appliance door opens automatically during the drying phase and remains ajar. If children have access to the appliance, we advise deactivating AirDry. AirDry is automatically activated with all programmes. The duration of the drying phase and the door opening time vary depending on the selected programme and options. When AirDry opens the door, the display shows the remaining time of the running programme. The buttons on the control panel make a click sound when pressed, which can be deactivated. Do not try to close the appliance door within 2 minutes after automatic opening. Adjust the level of the water softener according to the hardness of the water supply. Fill the salt container with 1 kg of salt and 1 litre of water for the first time. Use only regeneration salt for dishwashers. Do not use kitchen salt.
  • Page 13: Caution: The compartment is for rinse aid only. Do not fill it with detergent. Only use rinse aid designed specifically for dishwashers. Pour the rinse aid in the dispenser until the liquid reaches the marking FILL. Water and salt can come out of the salt container when you fill it. To prevent corrosion, fill the salt container and then immediately start a complete dishwashing cycle with detergent. Remove the spilled rinse aid with an absorbent cloth to prevent excessive foam formation. Open the water tap. Press and hold until the appliance is activated. Fill the salt container if it is empty. Close the water tap when the programme is complete.
  • Page 14: Select a programme using MY TIME selection bar. Only use detergent designed specifically for dishwashers. Put the detergent in the compartment. If the programme has a prewash phase, put a small quantity of detergent on the inner part of the appliance door. Activating options often increases water consumption, energy consumption and programme duration. The appliance senses the type of load and adjusts a suitable wash cycle. Do not fill the compartment with more than 30 ml of gel detergent. Select a programme and press repeatedly until the display shows the desired delay time. During the countdown, it is not possible to change the delay time and the programme selection. Options must be activated every time before you start a programme.
  • Page 15: If the door is opened for more than 30 seconds during the drying phase, the running programme ends. The Auto Off function saves energy by switching the appliance off when it is not operating. Press and hold to cancel a running programme. When the programme is completed, the display shows 0:00. Opening the door while a programme is running stops the appliance. Make sure that items in the baskets do not touch or cover each other for optimal cleaning. Select a programme according to the type of load and the degree of soil. Washing dishes in the dishwasher usually consumes less water and energy than washing by hand. Load the dishwasher to its full capacity to save water and energy. Refill the salt container whenever necessary.
  • Page 16: Using salt, rinse aid, and detergent is essential for optimal dishwasher performance. Ensure only dishwasher-specific products are used to prevent appliance damage. In hard water areas, use basic dishwasher detergent, rinse aid, and salt separately for best results. Check that filters are clean and properly installed before starting a program. Verify that the cap of the salt container is tight and spray arms are not clogged. Ensure there is enough salt and rinse aid unless using multi-tablets. Correctly arrange items in the baskets to avoid poor cleaning results. Use the appropriate quantity of detergent based on water hardness to prevent residues. Do not wash non-dishwasher-safe materials, as they can be damaged. Let tableware cool before unloading and always remove items from the lower basket first.
  • Page 17: CARE AND CLEANING Internal cleaning Clean the appliance interior with a soft damp cloth. Before any maintenance other than running the programme Machine Care, deactivate the appliance and disconnect the mains plug from the main socket. Do not use abrasive products, abrasive cleaning pads, sharp tools, strong chemicals, scourer or solvents. Wipe clean the door, including the rubber gasket, once a week. To maintain the performance of your appliance, use a cleaning product designed specifically for dishwashers at least once every two months. Dirty filters and clogged spray arms negatively affect the washing results. Check these elements regularly and, if necessary, clean them. Machine Care For optimal cleaning results, start the programme Machine Care. Machine Care is a programme designed to clean the appliance interior with optimal results. It removes limescale and grease buildup. Removal of foreign objects Check the filters and the sump after each use of the dishwasher. Foreign objects decrease the cleaning performance and can cause damage to the drain pump.
  • Page 18: Cleaning the filters involves a three-part filter system. Reassemble the filters and ensure they are correctly positioned to avoid bad washing results and damage to the appliance. Remove the flat filter and wash the filters thoroughly. To clean the lower spray arm, pull it upwards and wash it under running water. Use a thin pointed tool to remove soil particles from the holes of the spray arm. Ensure there are no food residues around the edge of the sump before reassembling. The upper spray arms are located under the upper basket and are installed with mounting elements.
  • Page 19: Wash the spray arm under running water. Use a thin pointed tool to remove particles of soil from the holes. Run water through the holes to wash soil particles away from the inside. To install the spray arm back, insert the mounting element in the spray arm and fix it in the duct by turning it counterclockwise. Make sure that the mounting element locks into place. Refer to the below table for information on possible problems. Improper repair of the appliance may pose a danger to the safety of the user. Any repairs must be performed by qualified personnel. The majority of problems that may occur can be solved without the need to contact an Authorised Service Centre. Make sure that the mains plug is connected to the mains socket.
