  • Page 4: Important safety instructions When using your dishwasher, follow basic precautions, including the following: Read all instructions before using the dishwasher. Use the dishwasher only for its intended purpose. Use only detergents or rinse agents recommended for use in a dishwasher and keep them out of the reach of children. When loading items to be washed, position sharp items so that they are not likely to damage the door seal. Do not wash plastic items unless they are marked dishwasher safe or the equivalent. Do not operate the dishwasher unless all enclosure panels are properly in place. To reduce the risk of injury, do not allow children to play in or on a dishwasher. Hydrogen gas may be produced in a hot water system that has not been used for two weeks or more. Remove the door of the dishwasher when removing the dishwasher from service or discarding it. Do not run the dishwasher while you are out of the home.
  • Page 5: Important safety instructions WARNING! Proposition 65 for California residents Cancer and reproductive harm Child safety Always keep small children away from the machine when it is open. Always close the door and start the dishwasher as soon as you put in the detergent. If dishwasher detergent gets in someone’s eyes, rinse them with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Should a child swallow dishwasher detergent or rinse aid, give plenty to drink immediately. Dishwasher detergents and rinse aids are corrosive, so always keep them out of reach of children. You can activate the Automatic child lock setting to prevent children from starting the dishwasher. The overflow guard starts pumping out the water and turns off the water supply if the water level exceeds the normal level. Store the dishwasher above freezing and avoid long transport distances in very cold weather. The outer packaging protects the product during transport.
  • Page 6: Important safety instructions The packaging is comprised of corrugated cardboard made from up to 100% recycled material, expanded polystyrene (EPS) with no added chlorine or fluorine, supports made from untreated wood, and protective plastic made from polyethylene (PE). The dishwasher is manufactured and labeled for recycling. When the machine has reached the end of its service life and is to be disposed of, it should immediately be made unusable. Pull out the power cord and cut it as short as possible. Contact your municipality for information about where and how your dishwasher can be recycled correctly. Explanation of symbols that may appear on the appliance. Read the user manual.
  • Page 7: Before washing for the first time, it is important to check water hardness to achieve good dishwashing results. Hard water can leave a white coating on dishes and the dishwasher. Contact the local water utility to determine water hardness, which affects the amount of detergent and rinse aid needed. During the first-time setup, select the appropriate settings for optimal dishwashing results. Choose the language for the display and set the level of rinse aid, which improves wash and dry times and helps achieve clear results. The rinse aid dispenser can be adjusted from 0 (Off) to 5 (High dosage), with a default setting of 4. There is also an option to activate a setting for all-in-one detergents that contain rinse aid, which reduces the rinse aid dosage.
  • Page 8: Before washing for the first time, add rinse aid. Fill up the rinse aid compartment with rinse aid if you have selected Rinse aid 1 - 5. Open the rinse aid compartment lid. Carefully fill up with rinse aid to the level marked MAX. Wipe up any spilled rinse aid around the compartment. Close the lid firmly.
  • Page 9: Greener dishwashing Save energy and water When using a dishwasher in a residential setting, less energy and water are generally used compared to washing the dishes by hand. Do not rinse under running water Do not rinse the dishes under running water as this will lead to increased energy and water consumption. Choose a green detergent Read the environmental declaration on the packaging. Run a fully loaded dishwasher Save energy and water by waiting until the dishwasher is full before running a program. Run programs at a lower temperature If the dishes are only lightly soiled, you can select a program with a lower temperature. Select dishwashing program – Eco This program is the most effective in terms of energy consumption. Select program mode – Green To save energy and water, use Green. Select option – Auto door open Better drying results are achieved if you use the Auto door open option. Connect to cold water Connect the dishwasher to the cold water supply if the building is heated using oil, electricity, or gas.
  • Page 10: Loading the dishwasher Some cookware is not dishwasher safe due to high temperatures or damage from detergent. Use caution with handmade items, China, crystal/glassware, silver, copper, tin, aluminum, wood, and plastic. Look for the Dishwasher safe marking. Porcelain with decoration on top of the glazing should not be washed in a dishwasher. Use rinse aid to improve wash and dry times and achieve clear and spotless results. Silver and stainless steel items should not come into contact to avoid discoloration. Aluminum can lose its shine if washed in a dishwasher, but good quality aluminum pans can be washed. Some types of glue used in cutlery handles are not dishwasher safe. Load the dishes carefully to ensure the best washing and drying results. All dirty surfaces should face in and down.
  • Page 11: Loading the dishwasher The dishwasher includes a top cutlery tray, an upper basket, and a lower basket with a cutlery basket. The basket appearance may differ depending on the configuration. The top cutlery tray accommodates cutlery, ladles, whisks, and other utensils. Avoid placing tall objects in the top cutlery tray. They can block the top spray arm. Pull out the top cutlery tray. Pull the two locking handles forward on each side to raise the top cutlery tray. Make sure the upper basket is in the lowest position. Slide the two locking handles down and back to lower the top cutlery tray.
  • Page 12: Loading the dishwasher involves specific placement of items. Place glasses, cups, bowls, side plates, and saucers in the upper basket with soiled surfaces facing down. Wine glasses should be placed on the wine glass shelf. Knives should be placed in the knife stand on the right. Extra supports for wine glasses can be fitted from the enclosed plastic bag. Adjustable plate supports can be pushed together to accommodate different dish sizes.
  • Page 13: Loading the dishwasher involves raising and lowering the upper basket. To raise the upper basket, pull it out and lift it up by grabbing the sides with both hands. To lower the upper basket, pull it out and push in the two locking handles after grabbing the sides with both hands.
  • Page 14: Loading the dishwasher involves placing plates, side plates, serving dishes, pots, and cutlery in the lower basket. The adjustable plate supports can be modified to accommodate different dish sizes. To reposition the plate supports, push them inward before adjusting. Folding down the plate supports can facilitate loading pots and bowls. The plate supports at the back right side of the lower basket can be pushed together for additional space.
  • Page 15: Loading the dishwasher The dishwasher's two adaptable power zones can be opened in two different positions or turned off. Leave the power zones open if you want an increased water flow where you have placed pots and pans or vases and bottles. Turn the dishwasher's power zones off if you want greater spray pressure in the lower spray arm. You can adjust the lower basket for plates with a diameter of 9 3/4-15 1/3 (25-39 cm) by moving the adjustable plate supports. Buy a wine glass shelf with space for six tall wine glasses. The wine glass shelf is designed to ensure optimal washing and drying results with tall wine glasses. The wine glass shelf is placed in the rear section of the lower basket. This accessory is available where you bought the dishwasher. Height: max. 9 7/8 (25 cm), Diameter: max. 2 15/16 (7.5 cm)
  • Page 16: Loading the dishwasher Place cutlery with the handles facing down, except for knives, and spread them out as much as possible. Ensure that spoons do not stack inside each other. The cutlery basket is best placed in the middle at the front of the lower basket to best utilize dishwashing performance from the unique spray zone intended for the cutlery basket. Knives and other pointed items must be placed horizontally in the dishwasher's special cutlery baskets. The cutlery basket has a fold-down section in the middle for small items or small shafts (such as electric whisk attachments).

  • Page 18: Using the dishwasher Add detergent Follow the instructions on the detergent packaging. Too much detergent can result in less effective dishwashing and lead to greater environmental impact. The detergent compartment must be dry when adding detergent. Use only dishwasher detergent. Liquid hand-washing detergent must not be used as the foam that forms prevents the dishwasher from operating effectively. There are many types of all-in-one detergents on the market. Read through the directions for these products carefully. Activate the TAB setting when using an all-in-one detergent that contains rinse aid. Dishwasher tablets are not recommended for short programs (less than 75 minutes). Use powder or liquid dishwasher detergent instead. Optimal washing and drying results are achieved by using normal dishwasher detergent together with separately dispensed rinse aid.
  • Page 19: Using the dishwasher Open the door and press the On/Off button. Also turn on the water supply valve if it is turned off. To select a program, press the button until the desired program is shown on the display. Select a program to suit the type of dishes and how dirty they are. Normal program is recommended for daily use to wash normally soiled dishes. The Auto program can measure how dirty the dishes are and adjust water consumption and temperature accordingly. Intensive program is for heavily soiled dishes, such as pans and casserole dishes. Quick program is fast and effective for slightly dried leftovers. The Auto door open option is important for ensuring the best drying results. When combined with Speed, the program is shortened to 39 minutes.
  • Page 20: Using the dishwasher The program adapts to the specified running time or finish time. Choose a time suited to how dirty the dishes are. Sanitize program is recommended for baby bottles and cutting boards when additional sanitation is required. Use rinse and hold to rinse dishes while you wait for the dishwasher to become fully loaded. Self-cleaning program for sanitizing the dishwasher tub, spray arms, and spray pipes. This program should be run with no dishes in the machine using regular dishwasher detergent or citric acid. This program prevents bad odors from dirty dishes left in the dishwasher. The program time is shortened, but the dishwasher uses more energy. The dishwasher uses less energy and water in green mode. Lower noise level during the dishwashing program in night mode.
  • Page 21: Using the dishwasher Select option Available options are dimly lit. The options glow brighter when activated. Auto door open The dishwasher door opens automatically, which shortens the program time and improves the drying results. Wait until the dishwasher indicates that the program has ended and the dishes have cooled before unloading. The drying time of the Auto door open option varies depending on the model, program, and temperature of the final rinse. For the best drying results, do not close the door before the drying phase has finished. The dishwasher door must not be blocked or closed when opened automatically. Delayed start When you select Delayed start, the dishwasher will start 1-24 hours after you have pressed and closed the door. If you want to cancel the Delayed start option, open the door then press and hold for three seconds. Press until the display shows Program started, close door in 4 sec. If the dishwasher is not started or the door is not closed within 2 minutes, the machine switches off. To remote start the dishwasher, see the chapter WiFi connection.
  • Page 22: Using the dishwasher Time remaining is displayed based on the last used program. The status light provides information through three colors. Blue indicates that the program has started, and more dishes can be loaded. Red signals that you should not load more dishes to avoid poor dishwashing results. A flashing light indicates that the door has been opened during a program. Green shows that the dishwashing program is finished. Flashing blue/green indicates that remote start is activated. To load more dishes, open the door, add dishes, and press the start button within four seconds. If the program was remote started, it will pause when the door is opened. If the door is open, Program paused will be displayed, and you must close the door to continue.
  • Page 23: Using the dishwasher If the dishwasher is turned off due to a power failure when a dishwashing program is running, the program continues when power is restored. If the dishwashing program was remote started and has not ended, the program will continue once the power is restored. If you open the door for more than 2 minutes during drying, the program will be interrupted. The end of the program is indicated by one short signal from the buzzer. Moreover, the end of the program is indicated by the status light turning green. Once the dishwasher door is opened and the program has finished, Program done appears on the display. To minimize the risk of leaks, we recommend that you turn off the water supply valve if away from home for an extended period of time. Fully load the dishwasher. Angle dishes with hollows, such as cups, so that the rinse water will run off. Allow the dishes to cool before unloading the dishwasher.
