- Page 3: Your dishwasher Welcome to our growing ASKO family! Please read the operating instructions before use. They include general tips, information about the settings and adjustments you can make, and the best way to take care of your appliance. To install the dishwasher see the chapter, Installation. Welcome to your new ASKO dishwasher. This is a first time setup. It is important that you choose the right settings to ensure good dishwashing results. You can remote control this dishwasher with your smartphone/tablet. Connect the dishwasher to your wireless network and pair with your smartphone/tablet to be able to remote control and start the dishwasher using the ConnectLife app.
- Page 4: Safety instructions Read the user manual and keep it in a safe place. Number of place settings: 16. Never use the dishwasher for any purpose other than that specified in these operating instructions. Do not load the dishwasher door or dishwasher baskets with anything other than dishes. The door should not be left in the open position since this could present a tripping hazard. Use only dishwasher detergent. This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities unless supervised. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or qualified persons. This appliance is intended for use in household and similar applications. Never place dishes with solvent residues in the dishwasher due to the risk of explosion.
- Page 5: Safety instructions Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Children must be watched. Do not allow children to use or play with the dishwasher. The dishwasher is equipped with a UVC light source. A damaged or defective UVC light source must only be replaced by the manufacturer's service centre or someone with similar professional qualifications. Knives and other utensils with sharp points must be loaded in the basket with their points down or placed in a horizontal position. Dishwasher detergents are strongly alkaline. They can be extremely dangerous if swallowed. Check that the detergent compartment is empty after completion of the wash cycle. You can activate the Automatic child lock setting to prevent children from starting the dishwasher. The overflow guard starts pumping water out of the water and turns the water supply off if the water level in the dishwasher exceeds the normal level.
- Page 6: Safety instructions The outer packaging protects the product during transport. The packaging material is recyclable. Separate the different packaging materials to help reduce raw material use and waste. The packaging is comprised of corrugated cardboard made from up to 100% recycled material, expanded polystyrene (EPS) with no added chlorine or fluorine, supports made from untreated wood, and protective plastic made from polyethylene (PE). The dishwasher is manufactured and labelled for recycling. When the dishwasher has reached the end of its service life, it should immediately be made unusable. Contact your local authority for information about where and how your dishwasher should be correctly recycled. Read the User Manual.
- Page 7: Before washing for the first time, it is important to check water hardness to achieve good dishwashing results. Hard water can leave a white coating on dishes and the dishwasher. Contact the local water utility to check the water hardness in your area, as this affects the amount of detergent and rinse aid to use. Welcome to your new ASKO dishwasher. This is a first-time setup, and selecting the right settings is crucial for good dishwashing results. Select the language to be shown on the display. Using rinse aid improves drying results and enhances dishwashing results for glassware and dishes. The rinse aid dispenser can be adjusted between 0 (Off) and 5 (High dose), with a factory pre-selection of 4. Activate the TAB setting when using an all-in-one detergent that contains rinse aid, which reduces the rinse aid dose. Activate the auto dose setting if you want to use automatic doses of detergent, with a factory pre-selection of Off. The exact dose of detergent depends on the program running and the dirtiness of the dishes. To change the chosen setting, refer to the chapter on Settings.
- Page 8: Before washing for the first time Top up rinse aid Top up the rinse aid compartment with rinse aid if you have selected Rinse aid 1 - 5. Open the rinse aid compartment lid. Carefully top the rinse aid up to the marked level MAX. Wipe up any splashes of rinse aid around the compartment. For water with a hardness greater than 10–12 °dH, you ought to use rinse aid with citric acid. Top up auto dose Fill the automatic dose compartment with dishwasher detergent gel if you have activated the Auto dose setting. Open the lid of the automatic dose compartment for dishwasher detergent gel. Carefully add dishwasher detergent gel to the level marked MAX.
- Page 9: Before washing for the first time Use only dishwasher detergent gel in the automatic dose compartment. Do not use dishwasher detergent powder or washing up liquid. Some thick dishwasher detergent gels are not suitable for the automatic dose compartment. Dishwasher detergent gel has a milder formula than dishwasher detergent powder. Dishwasher detergent gel may prove less effective at removing certain stains. Dishwasher detergent gel is dispensed during the main wash for all programs except Self-cleaning. Extra dishwasher detergent gel is dosed during the pre-wash in specific programs.
- Page 10: Greener dishwashing Save energy and water When using a dishwasher in a residential setting, less energy and water are generally used compared to washing the dishes by hand. Do not rinse under running water Do not rinse the dishes under running water as this will lead to increased energy and water consumption. Choose a green detergent Read the environmental declaration on the packaging. Run a fully loaded dishwasher Save energy and water by waiting until the dishwasher is full before running a program. Run programs at a lower temperature If the dishes are only slightly dirty, you can select a program with a low temperature. Select dishwashing program – Eco Use when you want to save water and energy. Select program mode – Green The dishwasher has different program modes. To save energy and water use Green. Select option – Automatic door opening Better drying results are achieved if you use the Automatic door opening option.
- Page 11: Loading the dishwasher Some cookware is not dishwasher safe due to high heat or damage from detergent. Exercise caution with handmade items, fragile decoration, crystal/glassware, silver, copper, tin, aluminium, wood, and plastic. Porcelain with decoration on top of the glazing should not be washed in a dishwasher. Wash fragile items made of crystal/glass using the gentle dishwashing program. Use a small amount of detergent and ensure items do not touch each other during the wash. By using rinse aid, you will improve your drying result and achieve better dishwashing results. Silver and stainless steel items should not come into contact to avoid discoloration. Aluminium can lose its shine in a dishwasher, but good quality pans can still be washed. Load the dishes carefully for the best washing and drying results with minimal energy and water consumption. Ensure all dirty surfaces face inwards and downwards, and check that the spray arms can rotate freely.
- Page 12: Loading the dishwasher The dishwasher is equipped with a top cutlery tray, an upper basket, and a lower basket with a cutlery basket. The appearance of the baskets may differ depending on the dishwasher setup. The top cutlery tray has space for cutlery, ladles, whisks, serving cutlery, and similar items. Avoid placing tall objects in the top cutlery tray as they can block the top spray arm. To raise the top cutlery tray, pull out the tray and pull the two locking handles on either side forward. To lower the top cutlery tray, ensure the upper basket is in the lowest position, pull out the tray, and slide the two locking handles downwards and backwards.
- Page 13: Loading the dishwasher involves placing glasses, cups, bowls, side plates, and saucers in the upper basket. All dirty surfaces should face inwards and downwards. Wine glasses should be placed on the wine glass shelf, and knives should be placed in the knife stand on the right.
- Page 14: Loading the dishwasher The adjustable plate supports can be pushed together to suit the dishes. Pull out the upper basket. Grab the sides of the upper basket with both hands and lift it up. Hold the sides of the upper basket with both hands and push the two locking handles in to lower the upper basket.
- Page 15: Loading the dishwasher involves placing plates, side plates, serving dishes, pots, and cutlery in the lower basket. The cutlery holder should be fitted to achieve maximum loading capacity. Adjustable plate supports can be adjusted to suit the dishes. Release the plate supports by pushing them inwards before repositioning them. The plate supports can be folded down to make it easier to load pots and bowls. At the back of the right side of the lower basket, the plate supports can be pushed together to provide more space for larger items.
- Page 16: Loading the dishwasher The dishwasher's two adaptable power zones can be opened in two different positions or turned off. Leave the power zones open if you want an increased water flow. Turn the dishwasher’s power zones off if you want greater spray pressure in the lower spray arm. You can adjust the lower basket for plates with a diameter of 25-39 cm. Buy a wine glass shelf with space for six tall wine glasses. The wine glass shelf is designed to ensure optimal washing and drying results with tall wine glasses. The wine glass shelf is placed in the rear section of the lower basket.
- Page 17: Loading the dishwasher Place cutlery with the handles facing down, except for knives, and spread them out as much as possible. Ensure that spoons do not stack inside each other. The cutlery basket is best placed in the middle at the front of the lower basket to achieve the best dishwashing performance from the unique spray nozzle. Knives and other sharp items must be placed horizontally in the dishwasher’s special cutlery baskets to prevent damage and risk of injury. The cutlery basket has a fold-down section in the middle for small items or small shafts. Buy a mini cutlery basket. The extra cutlery basket is flexible and can be dismantled and attached to the lower basket or the large cutlery basket.
- Page 18: Using the dishwasher You have two options for adding detergent – manual or automatic. Follow the instructions on the detergent packaging. Do not add detergent to the manual detergent compartment when using automatic detergent dosing. Too much detergent can result in less effective dishwashing and also involves a greater environmental impact. The detergent compartment must be dry when adding detergent. Use only dishwasher detergent! Washing up liquid must not be used as the foam that forms prevents the dishwasher from operating effectively. Read the directions for all-in-one detergents carefully. Activate the TAB setting when using an all-in-one detergent that contains rinse aid. Dishwasher tablets are not recommended for short programs (less than 75 minutes). Optimum washing and drying results are achieved by using normal dishwasher detergent together with separately dispensed rinse aid.
- Page 19: Using the dishwasher Select program mode To select a program, press until the desired program is shown on the display. Select a program to suit the type of dishes and how dirty they are. Eco: Use when you want to save water and energy for normally soiled loads. Heavy: Use to wash heavily soiled loads. Auto: The dishwasher can measure how dirty the dishes are and adjust water consumption and temperature accordingly. Flexi: An effective program for slightly dried leftovers. Intensive: A program with a high temperature for dissolving grease on very dirty dishes.
- Page 20: Using the dishwasher A fast and effective program for slightly dried leftovers is available, but it is not intended for burnt food. The automatic door opening option is important for ensuring the best drying results. A dishwashing program with a preheating phase is designed to offer a quick dishwashing program. You can load the dishes throughout the preheating phase, but remember to scrape off larger food particles before loading. Use a gentle dishwashing program with a low temperature for washing fragile items made of crystal/glass. Porcelain that has just been used without dried leftovers can also be washed using the crystal glass program. The time program adapts to the specified running time or finish time based on how dirty the dishes are. This program is designed to meet strict hygiene demands. A program intended for washing plastic items that are dishwasher safe includes an extra long drying cycle. When combined with Speed, the program is shortened to 39 minutes.
- Page 21: Using the dishwasher Rinse and hold is used to rinse dishes while you wait for the dishwasher to become fully loaded. Self-cleaning program is for hygienic cleaning of the dishwasher tub, spray arms, and spray pipes. This program should be run with no dishes in the machine using normal dishwasher detergent or citric acid. Lower half program is for washing plates and cutlery in the lower basket, with slightly dirty dishes in the upper basket. Upper half program is for washing cups and glasses in the upper basket, with slightly dirty dishes in the lower basket. Anti-odour program prevents bad odours from dirty dishes left in the dishwasher by activating the dishwasher fan. Select program mode to scroll through the available program modes. Speed mode shortens program time but uses more energy. Green mode uses less energy and water. Intensive mode uses higher temperatures to dissolve grease on very dirty dishes but consumes more energy and water.
- Page 22: Using the dishwasher Select option Available options are dimly lit. Select the options to activate them. The options glow brighter when activated. Automatic door opening The dishwasher door opens automatically, which shortens the program time and improves the drying results. Wait until the dishwasher indicates that the program has ended and the dishes have cooled before unloading. The drying time for the Automatic door opening option varies depending on the model, program, and temperature of the final rinse. For the best drying results, do not close the door before the drying phase has finished. The dishwasher door must not be blocked or closed when opened automatically. Delayed start When you select Delayed start, the dishwasher will start in 1-24 hours after you have pressed the button and closed the door. To set the desired number of hours, press several times. If you want to cancel the Delayed start option, open the door then press and hold for three seconds. Start/Stop Press until the display shows Program started, close door. This indicates that the dishwasher is ready to start. If the dishwasher has not started within 2 minutes of the last button press, the machine switches off.
- Page 23: Using the dishwasher The status light at the bottom of the dishwasher provides information by means of 3 different colours. Blue - Load more: The program has started, but you can still load more dishes. Red - Do not load: You should not load any more dishes (risk of poorer dishwashing result). Green - Unload: The dishwashing program is finished. The status light stays on for 15 minutes. Flashing red: A flashing light indicates that the door has been opened while a program is in progress. Flashing blue/green: The status light flashes blue/green to indicate that remote start is activated. If you want to load more dishes, open the door. The dishwasher stops automatically. If the dishwashing program was remote started, the interrupted program will continue once the door is closed. If the dishwasher is turned off due to a power failure when a dishwashing program is running, the program continues when power is restored.
- Page 24: Using the dishwasher The end of the program is indicated by one short signal from the buzzer. The end of the program is also indicated by the status light turning green. Once the dishwasher door is opened and the program has finished, Program done appears on the display. The dishwasher switches off automatically after the program ends. Shut off the water tap after each use. For the best drying results, fully load the dishwasher. Angle dishes with hollows, such as cups, so that the rinse water will run off. Top up with rinse aid or increase the rinse aid dose setting. Activate the automatic door opening option. Allow the dishes to cool before unloading the dishwasher.

Display Keep the display and the buttons clean. If necessary, wipe them with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Never use cleaning products – they may scratch the surface. Run self-cleaning The dishwasher tub is made of stainless steel and is kept clean through normal use. If you have hard water, limescale deposits may build up in the dishwasher. If this happens, run the self-cleaning program with two tablespoons of citric acid in the dishwasher’s manual detergent compartment.
- Page 35: Care and cleaning Unblocking the drainage pump If the dishwasher still contains water after the program has finished, something may be blocking the drainage pump. Turn the machine off and remove the plug from the wall socket. Remove the coarse filter and the fine filter. Scoop out the water from the dishwasher tub. Inspect the drainage pump by removing the yellow drainage pump stop. Turn the pump wheel located behind the drainage pump stop by hand. Refit the drainage pump stop along with the fine and coarse filters. Unblocking the inlet hose filter If the water supply contains small particles, the outer filter on the inlet hose may become blocked.
- Page 36: Care and cleaning Plug the machine into the wall socket and turn on the water tap. Allow the pressure to settle for a while and check that the connection is watertight. Winter storage/Transport Store the dishwasher above freezing temperature and avoid long transport distances in very cold weather. Transport the dishwasher upright or laying on its back. Handle the front corners of the dishwasher with care so that they do not get bent, which can affect door opening. Water must be removed from the machine before the dishwasher is transported anywhere or before being stored for long periods.

- Page 41: Troubleshooting Possible causes and actions for spots on stainless steel or silver include foodstuffs like mustard, mayonnaise, and vinegar causing spots if left too long. To avoid marks and spots on dishes, incorrect rinse aid dosage settings may need adjustment. If the all-in-one detergent has insufficient drying effect, changing to a separate rinse aid may be necessary. High temperature and excessive detergent can lead to etching on crystal, which cannot be repaired. A sticky white/blue film on dishes may indicate a rinse aid dosage setting that is too high. Lipstick and tea/coffee stains can be difficult to remove; using a detergent with a bleaching agent is recommended. Detergent residue in the compartment may occur if it was damp when adding detergent. Ensure the detergent compartment is dry and not blocked to allow proper opening during the wash cycle.
