- Page 2: Important safety instructions should be followed when using the dishwasher. Water supply temperature should be between 120°F and 149°F. The dishwasher must be grounded to avoid the risk of electric shock. Do not attempt to repair or replace any part by yourself if there is damage. Read all instructions before using the dishwasher. Use the dishwasher only for its intended function as described in the manual. Load sharp items and knives carefully to avoid injury. Do not wash plastic items unless marked as dishwasher safe. Hydrogen gas may be produced in a hot water system that has not been used for two weeks or more. Keep young children and infants away from the dishwasher when it is operating.
- Page 3: Important safety instructions Do not use the dishwasher if it has a damaged power line or plug. Do not plug the dishwasher into a damaged outlet. Failure to observe these instructions may result in electrical shock. Remove the door to the washing compartment when removing an old dishwasher from service or discarding it. Do not touch the steam on the panel during the washing cycle, especially if the sanitize option has been selected. After unpacking the dishwasher, keep the packaging out of the reach of children. Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, fire or electrical shock. Electrically ground the dishwasher. Connect the ground wire to the green ground connector in the junction box. Do not use an extension cord.
- Page 4: Dishwasher features include a capacity of 14 place settings. The dimensions are 606x650x857mm (WxDxH). It operates on a power supply of 120 V, 60 Hz. The rated power usage includes a wash motor of 50 W and a heater of 840 W. The water feed pressure ranges from 20 to 120 psi (138 to 828 kPa). Key components include the upper spray arm, middle spray arm, and lower spray arm. Additional features are the cup shelf, silverware basket, and heating element. There are also dispensers for rinse aid and detergent.
- Page 5: Operating instructions provide guidance on using the dishwasher effectively. You can select a wash cycle by pressing the Program button with the door closed. A light on the display indicates the selected cycle. The options can be chosen by pressing the Options button after selecting a wash cycle. Heavy Wash is designed for hard-to-clean, heavily soiled dishes, pots, and pans. The Sanitize option raises the water temperature in the final rinse to sanitize dishes and glassware. Normal Wash is suitable for regularly soiled dinner dishes or silverware. Light Wash is intended for lightly soiled and pre-rinsed dishes and silverware. The Eco option increases water temperature to enhance cleaning effectiveness. The Heated Dry option improves drying performance when used with rinse aid.
- Page 6: Operating instructions provide essential information for using the dishwasher effectively. To delay the start of a selected cycle, press the Delay Start button until the desired delay time shows in the LED indicator. The sanitize option is available with Heavy, Normal, Light, and ECO cycles. Push the door firmly closed; the door latches automatically. To start the wash cycle, press the Start/Cancel button once. The clean light will turn on at the end of the cycle. When loading more dishes, open the door slowly to avoid injury from hot steam. If the door is opened while the dishwasher is running, a safety mechanism stops the cycle. You can lock all controls to prevent children from accidentally changing the dishwasher cycle. In standby mode, the dishwasher will enter a power-saving state after 3 minutes of inactivity.
- Page 7: Operating instructions The remaining time could suddenly increase or drop several minutes. This means the Smart Sensor has checked the soil level and determined if additional water fills are needed, or water fills can be deleted. Description of cycle The NSF certified is Normal/Auto Cycle with the sanitize option selected. The CU test is Normal Cycle with the hi temp option selected.
- Page 8: Preparing and loading dishes involves several important steps. Scrape away large pieces of food, bones, pits, and toothpicks before loading. The continuous filtered wash system will remove remaining food particles. Burnt-on foods should be loosened prior to loading. Empty liquids from glasses and cups before placing them in the dishwasher. Certain foods may cause discoloration of stainless steel and plastics if left for too long. It is best to rinse off food soils like mustard, mayonnaise, and vinegar if the dishwasher will not be operated immediately. The upper rack is designed for cups, glasses, small plates, bowls, and plastic items marked “dishwasher safe.” For best results, place bowls, cups, and glasses facing down or toward the center for better drainage. Ensure that loaded dishes do not interfere with the rotation of the middle spray arm.
- Page 9: Preparing and loading dishes Loading the bottom rack is designed to load plates, soup bowls, plates, saucers, and cookware. The adjustable rack space will allow you to load a maximum of 13-inch items. Large items should be placed along the edge to avoid interfering with the middle spray arm rotation. Make sure large items do not prevent the detergent dispenser from opening. The silverware basket can be divided into three separate modules that can be used in both upper and lower racks. The fold-down tines in the bottom rack make it easy to load extra large and hard-to-fit items. Do not let any item extend through the bottom. Be sure nothing protrudes through the bottom of the basket or rack to block the lower spray arm. To add or remove items after the wash cycle starts, open the door slightly and wait a few seconds until the wash action stops. Close the door firmly to latch, and the cycle will automatically resume.
- Page 10: Preparing and loading dishes Loading the top rack You can place the items in the top rack randomly or in an orderly fashion. The image below shows how to load the top rack for 14 place settings.
- Page 11: Filling the detergent dispenser is essential for optimal performance. Rinse aid greatly improves drying and reduces water spots and filming. Without rinse aid, excessive moisture will affect dishes and the dishwasher interior. The rinse aid dispenser automatically releases a measured amount during the last rinse. If spotting and poor drying occur, increase the rinse aid amount by adjusting the dial. The rinse aid light indicates when it is time to refill. Your dishwasher is designed to use liquid rinse aid only. Rinse agent removes spots and prevents new film buildup on dishes and cookware. After adding detergent, close the lid securely until you hear a click. Keep the rinse aid dispenser full, but do not overfill.
- Page 12: Care and cleaning Clean the stainless steel inner door and tub. It is necessary to clean the spray arms regularly. Wash the arms in soapy, warm water and use a soft brush to clean the jets. The tub is made of stainless steel; it will not rust or corrode if scratched or dented. The cylinder filter is designed to collect big items such as broken glass, bones, and pits. The cylinder filter needs to be cleaned to maximize wash performance. To remove the cylinder filter, unscrew the nut clockwise. Clean the spots on the steel inner door and tub with a damp, nonabrasive cloth. Allow the heating element to cool before cleaning the interior. Failure to do so can result in burns.
- Page 13: Care and cleaning Clean the fine filter Take out the cylinder filter and remove the fine filter from the bottom of the dishwasher tub. To remove the fine filter, you must first remove the bottom spray arm. Flush the fine filter by holding it under running water and replace.
- Page 14: Troubleshooting Door may not be closed properly. Shut the door completely and make sure it is latched. Power supply or power line is not connected. Dishwasher won’t start. Delay Start option has been selected. Child Lock activated (selected models). Dishwasher beeps at the end of the cycle. It indicates the wash cycle finished. The rinse aid level is low. Add rinse aid. Dishes are not clean enough. Load the dishes again as the manual introduced. Dishes are not drying enough. Choose the proper cycle with drying. Spots and filming on dishes. Old or damp powder rinse aid is used. The inlet water temperature exceeds 150°F. Use fresh detergent.
