General energy-saving tips
• Cleaning dishes in a household dishwasher generally uses less energy and water than washing by hand,
provided the dishwasher is used in accordance with the instructions.
• Loading the household dishwasher up to the specified capacity (fully loaded) helps to save energy and
water.
• Use the most suitable rinse program for the load in question.
• Do not carry out a pre-rinse (depending on the model) unless absolutely necessary.
• Manual pre-rinsing of the dishes leads to higher water and energy consumption! Do not pre-rinse the dish-

Changing the program
• Carefully open the appliance door slightly. Once
the spray arms have stopped, you can open the
appliance door completely.
CAUTION:
A program change should only be done a short time
after the program start. Otherwise, cleaning agent
may already have been released and rinsing water
already drained off.
• Adjust any forgotten dishes.
• Close the appliance door, after about 10 seconds

End of program
At the end of the rinse cycle, several signal tones will
sound; then appliance will switch to standby mode.
• To make a program change, carefully open the
appliance door so that you can operate the con-
trol panel.
If no operation is performed within 15 minutes, the
appliance switches off automatically - energy-saving!
• Keep pressing the program selection button for
more than 3 seconds; the program will be deleted.
• Select a new program and close the appliance
door for the restart.
Auto door opening
If automatic door opening is activated, the appliance
door opens automatically at the end of the program.
