Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. The plastic housing on the water inlet pipe contains an electrically operated valve. Do not cut through the inlet hose and do not put the plastic housing in water. Children could get locked inside the appliance. To reduce energy and water consumption, remove all dirt residues from the dishes prior to loading the dishwasher. Loading the dishwasher to the capacity indicated by the manufacturer will save energy and water. It is not recommended to pre-rinse the tableware, as this leads to an increase in water and energy consumption. Washing tableware in a household dishwasher usually uses less energy and water than washing up by hand.
- Page 7: Before first use, set the water softener level as required by the water hardness in the area. Add 1kg of salt into the salt compartment and then fill with water to the top of the salt compartment. Remove all the packaging materials from the interior of the dishwasher. Fill the rinse aid compartment. Run a hot programme without any dishes in the dishwasher. To switch the power to the dishwasher on or off, press the ‘On/Off’ button. When you switch on the dishwasher, two dashes will appear on the programme display. To select an alternative programme, press the ‘Programme selection’ button several times until the programme display shows the desired programme. The dishwasher will store, in its memory, the last programme used.
- Page 8: Delay timer button allows setting a delay between 1 hour and 19 hours. Pressing the button once delays the start time by 1 hour, with continued pressing increasing the delay. The delay can be changed or canceled by pressing the button again. Switching off the machine while the delay timer is active cancels the delayed time. Half load function enables washing small numbers of dishes, reducing water and electricity usage. Press the half-load button to activate this function, indicated by a light. When Save Power Mode is deactivated “IL0” will be displayed, and the machine will always be on unless turned off by the user. To save the selected setting, turn off the machine. In factory setting, Save Power Mode is active.
- Page 12: Detergent compartment instructions include opening the compartment by pushing the latch. Add the required amount of detergent, with specific lines marked for 15cm³ or 25cm³ based on dish dirtiness. For intensive washes, add 5cm³ of detergent into the prewash section. Close the detergent compartment lid until the latch locks. Only use detergents designed for dishwashers. Dishwasher tablets should always be placed in the detergent compartment. Do not place tablets in the main body of the dishwasher or in the cutlery basket. The solubility of dishwasher tablets can vary with temperature and programme duration. Powder detergents are recommended for quick wash and half-load programmes for better performance.
- Page 13: CDA recommends the use of separate detergent, rinse aid, and dishwasher salt for better wash performance. If combination detergents are used, add salt and rinse aid, then adjust the water hardness and rinse aid settings to the minimum. When switching back to separate detergents, fill the salt and rinse aid compartments, adjust the water hardness to the maximum, and run an empty wash. The dishwasher needs soft water for optimal efficiency. Hard water can leave lime residues on dishes and inside the dishwasher, affecting performance. The softener system removes ions that cause hard water to ensure quality wash performance. Dishwasher salt is essential for achieving soft water. To add dishwasher salt, remove the lower basket and unscrew the salt compartment cap. Fill the compartment with dishwasher salt, avoiding table salt, and prevent spillage. Before first use, fill the compartment with 1kg of dishwasher salt and top it with water.
- Page 14: Replace the cap and the lower basket. When the ‘Salt’ light on the control panel illuminates, you should refill the salt compartment with salt only. Do not add water to the salt compartment after the first use. You should run a programme immediately after adding dishwasher salt to prevent any damage to the dishwasher systems. Fill the salt compartment with just water on first use. The efficiency of your dishwasher depends on the softness of the tap water. To ensure best efficiency, the dishwasher is equipped with a system that reduces the hardness in the mains water supply. To find out the water hardness level of your water supply you can use the test strip supplied or alternatively contact your local water board. Check the number of marks on the strip to see the level of water hardness. Open the testing strip and run water through the tap for one minute.
- Page 15: If the hardness of the water you use is above 90dF or if you are using well water, you are recommended to use filter and water refinement devices. The level of water hardness is preset to level 3. To adjust the level, press the ‘Programme selection’ button until the required level is selected. Rinse aid helps to ensure better quality wash results and increased drying performance. To fill the rinse aid compartment, open the rinse aid compartment lid. Fill the compartment with rinse aid to the MAX level and then close the lid. Be careful not to overfill the rinse aid compartment and ensure that you wipe up any spillages.
- Page 16: In order to change the rinse aid level, follow the steps below before turning on the machine. Press and hold down the ‘Programme selection’ button. Press the ‘On/Off’ button to switch on the dishwasher. Keep the programme selection button pressed until “rA” shows on the display and then disappears. To adjust the level, press the programme selection button until the required level is shown on the display. To store the selected rinse aid level, press the ‘On/Off’ button. If the dishes are not drying properly or are spotted with food debris, increase the rinse aid level. If blue stains appear on your dishes, decrease the rinse aid level. Always refill the rinse aid when the rinse aid indicator light on the control panel is illuminated.
- Page 17: Many brands of rinse aid contain phosphates which escape sewage treatment and can cause excessive algae growth in waterways. This can pollute drinking water and cause marine life ‘dead zones’ that are unable to support life. Please consider the environment and, if you wish to use rinse aid, try to source an environmentally friendly brand. To adjust the height of the upper basket: Open the basket retaining clips by turning them to the side. Remove the upper basket, and relocate the alternate set of wheels on the runner. Close the basket retaining clips. The following images are designed as guidance as to best practice for loading the dishwasher.
- Page 18: Upper basket Poorly stacked loads

- Page 20: Programme listing includes various wash cycles such as Hygiene, Super, Quick, Eco, and Prewash. Each programme has specific settings for temperature and duration. The amount of detergent varies based on the level of soil, with recommendations for different soil levels. Short programmes do not include a drying stage. Values and times are based on laboratory conditions according to relevant standards. Information may change depending on the dishwasher's use and environmental conditions. Electricity and water consumption are provided for each cycle. The duration of programmes ranges from 15 minutes to over 3 hours. Different programmes cater to varying levels of soil, from light to heavy. Detergent recommendations are specified in cm³ for each programme.
- Page 21: Care and maintenance Before beginning any care or maintenance, you should always disconnect the appliance from the electricity supply, and also turn off the water supply. Door seals Wipe the dishwasher door seals regularly with a damp cloth to remove any residues. Filters You should clean the filters at least once a month. Remove the lower basket. Turn the microfilter anticlockwise and then lift it out. Remove the coarse filter from the microfilter. Remove the base filter from the dishwasher compartment. You should clean and rinse the filters thoroughly before replacing all the sections in reverse order to that above. Please note: Never run a programme without the filters in place.
- Page 22: Incorrect fitting of the filters may reduce wash performance and potentially damage your appliance. You should clean the spray arms at least once a month. Remove the lower basket. Pull the lower spray arm upwards to remove it. To remove the upper spray arm, first remove the nut on the upper spray arm by turning it. You should clean and rinse the spray arms thoroughly before replacing them. Ensure that the upper spray arm nut is securely tightened when refitting the upper spray arm. To deal with an accumulation of dirt, oil or limescale in the dishwasher, run an intensive programme with detergent when the dishwasher is empty. There are specialist dishwasher cleaners available that can be used.
- Page 23: Error codes serve as a diagnostic display to help in the event of a problem with the appliance. Potential error codes, their causes, and potential solutions are provided. Water inlet system failure may occur if the water inlet tap is not open or water is not flowing. Inability to discharge water can happen if the water discharge hose and filters are clogged. Continuous water input may indicate a pressure system failure. Heater error can lead to issues that require contacting customer care. Overflow situations should prompt users to unplug the machine and close the tap. Faulty electronic card and overheating issues require contacting customer care. Divisor position error and faulty heater sensor are additional potential problems. High and low voltage failures should also be addressed by contacting customer care.
- Page 24: Troubleshooting Possible causes for various problems include: Check the plug, fuse, and circuit breakers of the mains supply. The water tap is turned off. The dishwasher door is not fully closed. The water inlet filter or the machine filters are blocked. The water drain hose is blocked or kinked. The filters are blocked. Power failure can prevent the programme from starting. Poor loading of dishes hinders wash performance. Insufficient detergent added can affect cleaning results. Rinse aid setting is too low, leading to white stains on dishes.
- Page 25: Electrical information This appliance must be earthed. The mains lead of this appliance has been fitted with a BS 1363A 13 amp fused plug. To change a fuse in this type of plug, follow the steps below. Do not use the appliance without the fuse cover in position. If the fitted plug is not suitable for your socket outlet, then it should be cut off and disposed of safely to avoid the risk of electric shock. A suitable alternative plug of at least 13Amp rating to BS 1363 should be used.
