  • Page 4: Parts identification Preparing the dishwasher for use Unpacking the dishwasher Use at least two people to move and install the dishwasher to prevent injuries. Carefully remove the packaging materials. Check to make sure the parts necessary for installation are included. If any parts are missing, please contact customer service. The dishwasher has been designed for a countertop installation. Follow the instructions for clearance, water, and electrical requirements. The minimum height clearance required to install your dishwasher on a countertop surface with overhead cupboards is 17-¾” (45cm). Make sure the water supply/faucet connection is within reach of the inlet and drain hose assembly (i.e. 22-¾” / 58 cm). For best results, incoming water pressure should be between 15 and 20 pounds per square inch (psi). For best results, the water temperature must be at least 120ºF (49ºC). The temperature of the incoming water supply should not exceed 140ºF (60ºC). It is recommended that you use receptacles that cannot be turned off by a switch or pull chain. The dishwasher is equipped with a power supply cord having a 3-prong grounding plug.
  • Page 5: If your existing Faucet Adapter is not compatible with the quick connect hose assembly supplied, then the following procedures should be followed. Your dishwasher comes equipped with a Faucet Adapter, Quick Connect, Drain Hose, and Inlet Hose. The Faucet Adapter must be installed on the faucet before you can connect the dishwasher. If your faucet is inclusive of a ‘female’ type (threaded) connection, both rubber washers must be installed inside the faucet adapter. If your faucet is inclusive of a ‘male’ type (threaded) connection, use only the standard rubber washer supplied within the adapter. The Faucet Adapter is compatible with faucets inclusive of either male or female threaded faucet connections. Your dishwasher cleans by spraying a mixture of clean hot water and detergent against the soiled surfaces of dishes. Hard water conditions will adversely affect the washing performance of your dishwasher. To assist in minimizing hard water conditions, it is recommended to periodically operate the dishwasher using one cup of white vinegar at least once a week. Attach the Quick Connect assembly onto the Faucet Adapter by pulling down the outer locking collar on the Quick Connect. Slowly open the hot water line and check for any sign of water leaks at all connections.
  • Page 6: Disconnecting your dishwasher involves several key steps. Close the hot water supply at the faucet. Disconnect the power supply cord. Remember to release the water pressure inside the inlet hose. The inlet hose is pressured when the water supply line is opened. Press and hold the red pressure relief button on the quick connect assembly until the flow of water stops. Disconnect the quick-connect hose assembly by pulling down on the outer locking collar. The power button turns the dishwasher on or off. The rinse aid warning light indicates when the rinse aid dispenser needs to be refilled. The wash cycle complete light indicates when the current wash cycle has ended. To get the best performance from your dishwasher, read all operating instructions.
  • Page 7: Loading the dishwasher is key for optimal performance. Overfilling can reduce efficiency, and improper placement can hinder performance. This unit is optimized for holding six place settings, including cups, glasses, bowls, large plates, small plates, serving dishes, and cutlery. For heavily soiled loads, use the Heavy cycle. For normally soiled loads, use the Normal cycle. Load hollow items with the opening facing downwards to prevent water collection. Secure dishes and utensils to prevent movement during the wash cycle, which can hinder spray arms. Silverware should be placed in the basket with handles down, except for knives and sharp objects. If the silverware basket has side baskets, load spoons into individual slots. Long utensils should be placed horizontally in the basket or on the cup shelf. Use the Speed cycle for a shorter wash for lightly soiled loads that do not need drying. The Rinse program is for rinsing dishes, glasses, and silverware that will not be washed right away.
  • Page 8: Cutlery basket Silverware should be placed in the basket with handles at the bottom, except for knives and other sharp objects that should be loaded with handles up. If the silverware basket has side baskets, spoons should be loaded into individual slots. Make sure similar pieces of silverware do not nest together. Long utensils should be placed horizontally in the basket or on the cup shelf. The basket is fitted with plate racks which can be stowed horizontally if required. Always load sharp utensils with the sharp point down. Do not let any item extend through the bottom of the silverware basket. This may prevent the spray arm from spinning.
  • Page 9: Four place settings are specified for the dishwasher. Only use detergent specifically made for use in dishwashers. Do not use dish soap or detergent pods or tabs. Using improper detergent can cause the dishwasher to fill with suds and may trigger an E4 error code. Using non-dishwasher detergent may result in dishes not getting fully clean. The amount of detergent needed depends on whether your water is hard or soft. Generally, one tablespoon of detergent is sufficient for a normal wash load. Hard water may require extra detergent to remove mineral deposits. Too much detergent with soft water can cause permanent cloudiness of glassware. For heavily soiled loads, use the HEAVY wash cycle and fill the appropriate detergent cups based on water hardness.
  • Page 10: Rinse aid setting can be adjusted to improve drying and prevent spots on dishes. The dispenser must be refilled before each wash cycle. Always add powdered detergent just before starting the dishwasher to ensure proper dissolution. The rinse aid dispenser holds 3.5 oz. and typically lasts about one month under normal conditions. Only use branded rinse aid for the dishwasher; do not fill with other substances. Ensure the dishwasher door is fully open when starting a wash cycle. Verify that enough rinse aid is in the dispenser before starting. The rinse aid warning light indicates when the dispenser needs refilling. Select the desired wash cycle using the program button. Press the START/PAUSE button to begin the wash cycle.
  • Page 11: Completing a wash cycle involves pressing the Start/Pause button to suspend the cycle. The buzzer will sound for eight seconds when the wash cycle finishes. Turn off the dishwasher and water supply before opening the door. Wait a few minutes before unloading to avoid handling hot dishes. You can modify the wash cycle only if the dishwasher has been running for a short time. Switch off the dishwasher and water tap before opening the door. It is normal for the dishwasher to be wet inside after unloading. Opening the door during the wash cycle may result in injury from hot water. Pressing the Start/Pause button for three seconds will put the machine in standby mode. A dish can be added before the detergent dispenser opens by following specific steps.
  • Page 12: General maintenance Removing the filter system In order to remove the filter system for cleaning please follow these steps. The filter system consists of a coarse filter, a main (flat) filter, and a micro (fine) filter. The filter assembly efficiently removes food particles from the wash water, allowing it to be recycled during the cycle. For best performance and results, the filter assembly must be cleaned regularly. Never run the dishwasher without the filter system in place. Improper replacement of the filter system or damaged filters may reduce the performance level of the dishwasher. Clean the entire filter system at least once a week when in use. Inspect the filters after each wash and remove any food remnants.
  • Page 13: Protecting the dishwasher against freezing involves specific steps after each washing cycle. The control panel can be cleaned with a lightly dampened cloth, and it should be dried thoroughly with a soft towel. Never use sharp objects, scouring pads, or harsh cleaners on any part of the dishwasher. Turn off the dishwasher and the water supply, then disconnect the water inlet hose from the back of the unit. Drain the water from the inlet hose and inlet port, using a pan to catch the water. To clean the edge around the door, use only a soft warm damp cloth and avoid liquid sprays or cleaners. Remove the filter system and use a sponge to absorb water in the filter area. After every wash, turn off the water supply and leave the door slightly open to prevent moisture and odors. Never use abrasive solvents when cleaning; only use a dampened soft cloth with warm water. Food trapped in the door seals can cause odors, so periodic cleaning with a damp sponge is recommended.
  • Page 14: Items not suitable for dishwasher use include cutlery with wooden, horn, china, or mother of pearl handles, plastic items that are not heat resistant, and older cutlery with glued parts that are not heat resistant. Follow the troubleshooting guide to resolve common issues. If the dishwasher does not start, ensure it is turned on and the door is closed securely. Check for a blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker. If water is not pumped from the dishwasher, check the drain hose and the coarse filter. Use only the specified detergent to avoid issues with suds in the tub. Error codes indicate specific problems, such as E1 for long water inlet time and E3 for stained tub interior. Always clean up rinse aid spills immediately to prevent staining. Hard water minerals can cause a white film on the dishwasher interior surface. Do not place non-dishwasher safe items in the dishwasher to avoid rust stains on cutlery.
