- Page 4: General information Before installing or using the appliance, read this quick start user manual carefully. Incorrect installation of the machine may damage the product, cause injury to people and invalidate your warranty. This instruction manual should be kept in a safe place for future reference. Installation should be made by a qualified service engineer. The appliance is designed for commercial use and operation by trained personnel only. In the event of a malfunction or failure, turn off the appliance immediately. The appliance should only be repaired by authorized service personnel. Important: Please take care when unpacking the unit as the feet do not come pre-installed. Ensure the unit is level, as this can affect the running of the machine. Medium to hard water areas must be connected to a water softener to avoid damage and poor wash results.
- Page 5: Connecting the waste outlet requires the grey ribbed waste hose to be connected properly. Ensure the waste outlet is not higher than three quarters of the height of the unit to allow the pump to operate correctly. The unit requires hard wiring to a suitable electrical power supply, which must be done by an authorized electrician. Verify that the appliance data plate matches the supply voltage and power rating. Single phase connections must be hardwired to a 230V 1-phase supply rated for 32 Amps. Three phase connections must be hardwired to a 400V 3-phase supply rated for 25 Amps. All units come with automatic chemical dosing pumps fitted internally. Kingfisher recommends the use of EntirePro for optimal wash results and machine longevity. If the unit has two clear pipes fitted, stickers will indicate which pipe is used for which chemical. Before first use, ensure the power is on, the water valve is turned on, and the water softener is open.
- Page 6: Operation Control panel overview Cycle select Power Temp ready Washing & rinsing Draining Filling the machine The unit will fill with water and automatically start to heat the boiler and tank. This will take between 45-60 minutes. Do not add any additional chemicals to the wash tank. When both tanks are heated to their correct temperatures, the temperature indicator will illuminate to confirm the machine is ready to use.
- Page 7: Starting a wash cycle Ensure that all items receive a pre rinse before going through the wash cycle to avoid grease or excess food in the wash tank. Place the items in the basket ensuring nothing interferes with the bottom wash/rinse arm rotation. Close the hood and turn the Black Dial to Position 2, 3, or 4 for your preferred wash cycle. The unit will perform the wash cycle and then a small rinse cycle. Open the hood and remove the tray, closing the door to minimize loss of heat or vapor. Draining When the machine requires to be emptied, generally at the end of the day, remove the tray and release the overflow. Turn the black dial to position 5. The drain pump will start and water will begin to empty from the tank. It may be necessary to perform this procedure more than once if there is residual left over. Once emptied, ensure you complete your daily/monthly cleaning procedure.
- Page 8: Maintenance General tips include draining and replenishing the water in the tank at least once a day and prewashing dishes with cold or warm water. Do not pre-wash with soaps or washing up liquid as it can contaminate the wash water. Daily cleaning requires turning off the appliance and disconnecting the power supply. Drain dirty wash water and clean the tank filters to prevent debris build-up. Clean the wash chamber with hot soapy water, rinse, and dry with a clean cloth. Wipe down external surfaces with a damp cloth and mild cleaning solution. Check detergent levels to ensure the machine operates with an appropriate supply. Weekly maintenance involves checking and replenishing the water softener for optimal water quality. Inspect and clean washer jets by unscrewing the wash arms and nozzles. Monthly maintenance includes descaling the dishwasher with a catering descaler solution.
- Page 9: Front service panel The front panel of the machine can be removed by undoing the 4 screws across the front bottom of the machine. This will allow access to the temperature thermostats and chemical dosing pumps so adjustments can be made. Do not attempt to remove the services panel with the electrical supply connected. Always ensure the power has been disconnected before disassembling the machine. Methods for adjusting settings will vary depending on model. Scan the QR codes to watch the guidance videos.
