Before Operation

Fill the salt container before commissioning

or when the salt symbol

as follows:

appears on the display,

• Remove the lower basket

and unscrew the cap of the salt container

(1, for the position see section "Appliance components...").

• Place the end of the supplied funnel into the hole

and pour in about 1.5kg of dishwasher salt (2).

• Fill the salt container to its maximum limit with water

(3, If a small amount of water escapes from the salt container,

this is normal and harmless).

• Screw the cap tightly back onto the salt container (4).

• Start any wash cycle immediately after filling the salt

into the salt container

(We recommend using a short programme),

to remove any salt residue remaining in the appliance.

ꢂNotesꢁonꢁsaltꢁfillingꢁandꢁsymbolꢁdisplay

The salt container may only be topped up if this is indicated

by the salt symbol

on the display.

The symbol disappears from the display,

after the salt container has been filled with salt.

However, depending on how well the salt dissolves,

it may continue to glow for some time after filling.
