NOTICE:
Preparing your appliance for vacation
▶ Before leaving for vacation during warmer weather,
besides turning off the main valve, also turn off water
supply at the nearest point to the dishwasher. During
colder weather, please follow the instructions for
winterizing your appliance below.
You can find the model number (E-Nr.), the production
number (FD) and the consecutive numbering (Z-Nr.) on
the appliance's rating plate.
The rating plate is located inside the appliance door.
Making a note of your appliance's details and the
Customer Service telephone number will enable you to
find them again quickly.
Winterizing your appliance
▶ If your dishwasher will be unused for an extended
period of time in a location that experiences freezing
temperatures (vacation home or through a vacation
period), have your dishwasher winterized by a
professional service.
16.3ꢀDisposal of your old appliance
Environmentally sound disposal allows valuable raw
materials to be recycled.
WARNING
Avoid a risk of entrapment upon disposal.
▶ Unplug the appliance from the power outlet.
▶ Cut the power cord and remove the door upon
discarding the appliance.
▶ Check your local area for large appliance recycling
programs.
