3.4.3. CONNECTING THE DISCHARGE HOSE
Connecting the discharge hose to a siphon
The dishwasher connection to the siphon must have a minimum diameter of 1½ inches and be present at a maximum height of
100 cm.
1. Remove the dishwasher connection from the siphon.
2. Remove the rubber stopper from the dishwasher connection.
3. Slide a hose clamp around the end of the discharge hose. The
hose clamp is not included.
4. Slide the discharge hose over the dishwasher connection to the
siphon.
5. Tighten the hose clamp with a screwdriver.
Connecting the discharge hose to a drain pipe
1NOTICE!
RISK OF DAMAGE TO THE APPLIANCE. Do not insert the discharge
hose deeper than 15 cm into the drain pipe to prevent the water from
flowing back during pumping.
Insert the discharge hose into the drain pipe.
The loose drain pipe must have a minimum diameter of 4 cm and be
present at a maximum height of 100 cm.
It is advisable to attach the discharge hose to the wall with a hose
bracket to prevent kinks or blockages in the discharge hose.
3.4.4. LEVEL THE APPLIANCE
1. Position the appliance at its final location.
2. Place a spirit level on top of the appliance to check that the
appliance is level.
3. Carefully tilt the appliance and adjust the adjusting legs to level
the appliance. The maximum height of the adjusting legs is 5 cm.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until the appliance is level.
5. Plug in the power cable.
