  • Page 6: The red light flashes when the appliance has a malfunction. The Beam-on-Floor is a light that is displayed on the floor below the appliance door. The Beam-on-Floor is off when the appliance is deactivated. A red light comes on when a programme starts and remains on for the duration of the programme. A green light comes on when the programme is complete. The ECOMETER indicates how the programme selection impacts energy and water consumption. The more bars on the ECOMETER, the lower the consumption is. The ECOMETER indicates the most environmentally friendly programme selection for a normally soiled dishwashing load. The rinse aid indicator is on when the rinse aid dispenser needs refilling. Refer to Before first use.
  • Page 7: Salt indicator indicates when the salt container needs refilling. Machine Care indicator shows when internal cleaning is needed. Drying phase indicator is on during selected drying phases. MY TIME selection bar allows selection of dishwashing cycles based on duration. AUTO Sense programme adjusts the cycle based on load type and soil degree. Quick programme is suitable for lightly soiled loads and lasts 30 minutes. ExtraSilent reduces noise by operating the wash pump at a lower speed. 1h programme is for lightly dried-on soil. ECO programme is the longest and most efficient for normal soil. GlassCare prevents damage to delicate glassware by controlling temperature changes.
  • Page 8: Programmes overview Dishwasher programmes include various options for cleaning crockery, cutlery, and pots. Quick programme is designed for fresh, lightly dried-on items. ExtraPower and GlassCare options enhance cleaning performance. ECO programme is suitable for normal cleaning needs. AUTO Sense adjusts the washing parameters based on load. Machine Care programme is for cleaning the appliance interior. Automatic door opening during the drying phase is a feature for improved drying efficiency.
  • Page 9: Consumption values for water, energy, and duration are provided for various programmes. The pressure, temperature, mains supply variations, options, quantity of dishes, and degree of soil can change the values. Values for programmes other than ECO are indicative only. You can configure the appliance by changing basic settings according to your needs. Adjust the level of the water softener according to the water hardness in your area. Adjust the level of the rinse aid according to the necessary dosage. Activate or deactivate the acoustic signal for the end of a programme. Activate or deactivate the AirDry feature. Enable or disable the sound of the buttons when pressed. Refer to the information provided in this chapter for more details.
  • Page 10: You can change the basic settings in setting mode. To enter setting mode, press and hold simultaneously for about 3 seconds. When the appliance is in setting mode, the bars of the ECOMETER represent available settings. The order of the basic settings presented in the table is also the order of the settings on the ECOMETER. The current setting value flashes. You can navigate in setting mode using MY TIME selection bar. The water softener removes minerals from the water supply, which would have a negative effect on the washing results and on the appliance. Water hardness is measured in equivalent scales. The water softener should be adjusted according to the hardness of the water in your area. You cannot enter setting mode while the programme is running.
  • Page 11: Water hardness Water softener level Do not use salt at this level. Set the proper water hardness level to keep the salt refill indicator active. Multi-tabs containing salt are not effective enough to soften hard water. For the correct water softener operation, the resin of the softener device needs to be regenerated regularly. This process is automatic and is part of the normal dishwasher operation. A new regeneration process will be initiated between the final rinse and the programme end. Regeneration initiation has no impact on the cycle duration, unless it occurs in the middle of a programme. The regeneration prolongs the total duration of a programme by additional 5 minutes.
  • Page 12: AirDry improves the drying results. The appliance door opens automatically during the drying phase and remains ajar. Each performed softener rinse may prolong the programme duration by another 5 minutes. The consumption values mentioned are determined in line with the currently applicable standard. AirDry is automatically activated with all programmes. The rinse aid helps to dry the dishes without streaks and stains. When rinse aid chamber is empty, the rinse aid indicator is on notifying to refill rinse aid. Do not try to close the appliance door within 2 minutes after automatic opening. If children have access to the appliance, we advise to deactivate AirDry. You can activate an acoustic signal that sounds when the programme is completed.
  • Page 13: The latest programme that was completed before the appliance deactivation is saved. You can deactivate the click sound made by the buttons on the control panel. When the latest programme selection is disabled, the default programme is ECO. Make sure that the current level of the water softener agrees with the hardness of the water supply. Fill the salt container and the rinse aid dispenser before first use. Start the programme Quick to remove any residuals from the manufacturing process. Use rough salt designed for dishwashers only to avoid corrosion. After filling the salt container, immediately start the shortest programme to prevent corrosion. The salt is used to recharge the resin in the water softener and to assure good washing results. Put 1 litre of water in the salt container only for the first time before filling it with dishwasher salt.
  • Page 14: How to fill the rinse aid dispenser Only use rinse aid designed specifically for dishwashers. Fill the dispenser until the rinse aid reaches the marking MAX. Remove the spilled rinse aid with an absorbent cloth to prevent excessive foam formation. Close the lid and ensure it locks into position. Fill the rinse aid dispenser when the indicator is clear. The compartment is for rinse aid only; do not fill it with detergent. Daily use Open the water tap. Only use detergent specifically designed for dishwashers. Fill the salt container if it is empty. Load the baskets and add the detergent. Select and start a programme. For information about the detergent dosage, refer to the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Page 15: The upper ends of the two vertical ribs inside the compartment indicate the maximum level for filling the dispenser with gel (max. 30ml). Not all options are compatible with each other. Activating options often increases the water and energy consumption as well as the programme duration. How to select and start a programme using MY TIME selection bar. How to start the AUTO Sense program. The appliance senses the type of load and adjusts a suitable wash cycle. How to activate EXTRAS if desired. How to delay the start of a programme. During the countdown, you cannot change the delay time and the programme selection. By default, options must be activated every time before you start a programme. If the latest programme selection is enabled, the saved options are activated automatically along with the programme. It is not possible to activate or deactivate options while a programme is running.
  • Page 16: How to cancel a running programme If the door is opened for more than 30 seconds during the drying phase, the running programme ends. Press and hold for about 3 seconds to return to the programme selection. Make sure that there is detergent in the detergent dispenser before starting a new programme. The Auto Off function This function saves energy by switching the appliance off when it is not operating. Opening the door while the appliance operates Opening the door while a programme is running pauses the wash cycle. The wash cycle resumes from the point of interruption after closing the door. End of the programme When the programme is complete, the display shows 0:00. The Auto Off function switches the appliance off automatically. Hints and tips Remove larger residues of food from the dishes before putting them inside the appliance. Soak or slightly scour cookware with firmly cooked-on or baked-on food before washing. Select a programme according to the type of load and the degree of soil. ECO offers the most efficient use of water and energy consumption. Washing dishes in the dishwasher usually consumes less water and energy than washing by hand.
  • Page 17: To prevent limescale buildup inside the appliance, follow specific steps when transitioning from multi-tablets to separate detergent, salt, and rinse aid. Refill the salt container whenever necessary and use the recommended dosage of detergent and rinse aid. Ensure that the current level of the water softener matches the hardness of the water supply. Set the highest level of the water softener and ensure that the salt and rinse aid containers are full. Start the Quick programme without adding detergent or dishes. After the programme completes, adjust the water softener according to local water hardness. Only use salt, rinse aid, and detergent designed for dishwashers to avoid damage. In areas with hard water, using basic dishwasher detergent, rinse aid, and salt separately is recommended for optimal results. Always use the correct quantity of detergent and rinse aid to avoid poor cleaning results or residues on dishes. Before starting a programme, ensure filters are clean, the salt container cap is tight, and the spray arms are not clogged.
  • Page 18: Removal of foreign objects Check the filters and the sump after each use of the dishwasher. Foreign objects decrease the cleaning performance and can cause damage to the drain pump. If unable to remove the foreign objects, contact an Authorised Service Centre. Disassemble the filters system as instructed. Remove any foreign objects manually. Reassemble the filters as instructed. Clean the appliance with a moist soft cloth. Only use neutral detergents. The filter system is made of 3 parts. Make sure that there are no residues of food or soil in or around the edge of the sump.
  • Page 19: Wash the spray arm under running water. Reassemble the filters (B) and (C). Put back the filter (B) in the flat filter (A). Turn it clockwise until it locks. Use a thin pointed tool, e.g. a toothpick, to remove particles of soil from the holes. An incorrect position of the filters can cause bad washing results and damage to the appliance. We recommend to clean the lower spray arm regularly to prevent soil from clogging the holes. Clogged holes can cause unsatisfactory washing results. To remove the lower spray arm, pull it upwards. We recommend to clean the upper spray arm regularly to prevent soil from clogging the holes.
  • Page 20: To detach the spray arm from the spray arm basket, press the spray arm upwards and simultaneously turn it clockwise. We recommend cleaning the ceiling spray arm regularly to prevent soil from clogging the holes. The ceiling spray arm is placed on the ceiling of the appliance. Wash the spray arm under running water. Use a thin pointed tool, e.g., a toothpick, to remove particles of soil from the holes. Release the stoppers on the sides of the sliding rails of the cutlery drawer and pull the drawer out. To install the spray arm back, press the spray arm upwards and simultaneously turn it counterclockwise until it locks into place. Move the upper basket to the lowest level to reach the spray arm more easily. To detach the spray arm from the delivery tube, turn the mounting element counterclockwise and pull the spray arm downwards. Run the water through the holes to wash soil particles away from the inside.
  • Page 21: To install the spray arm back, insert the mounting element in the spray arm and fix it in the delivery tube by turning it clockwise. Make sure that the mounting element locks into place. Install the cutlery drawer on the sliding rails and block the stoppers. Improper repair of the appliance may pose a danger to the safety of the user.
