- Page 2: Safety Information When using your dishwasher, follow the basic precautions including the following. Please read this User Information carefully and keep it to refer to at a later date. Hydrogen gas may be produced in a hot-water system that has not been used for two weeks or more. This manual contains sections of Safety Instructions, Operating Instructions, Installation Instructions, and Troubleshooting Tips. Do not abuse, sit on, or stand on the door or dish basket of the dishwasher. When loading items to be washed, locate sharp items so that they are not likely to damage the door seal. Check that the detergent receptacle is empty after completion of the wash cycle. Use only detergent and rinse additives designed for an automatic dishwasher. Keep children away from detergent and rinse aid, and from the open door of the dishwasher. Dishwasher detergents are strongly alkaline and can be extremely dangerous if swallowed.
- Page 3: During installation, the power supply must not be excessively or dangerously bent or flattened. The appliance is to be connected to the water mains using new hose sets, and the old hose-sets should not be reused. Make sure that the carpet must not obstruct the openings at the bottom base. Use the dishwasher only for its intended function. The dishwasher is intended for indoor use only. The dishwasher is not designed for commercial use. Dispose of the dishwasher packaging material correctly. This appliance is identified according to the European guideline 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment - WEEE. Packaging material could be dangerous for children. To get the best performance from your dishwasher, read all operating instructions before using it for the first time.
- Page 4: Water hardness and indicator light status table Dishwasher features Water softener is designed to remove minerals and salts from the water. The hardness of the water varies from place to place. If hard water is used, deposits will form on dishes and utensils. Always use salt intended for use with dishwashers. Only use salt specifically designed for use in dishwashers. The salt container is located beneath the lower basket. Setting the amount of salt dispensed can be adjusted from H0 to H7. Find out about the hardness value of your tap water. Switch on Power and adjust the setting using the Delay and Program buttons. Fill the rinse aid dispenser before using the dishwasher for the first time.
- Page 5: Place the end of the funnel into the hole and introduce about 2kg of salt. It is normal for a small amount of water to come out of the salt container. Pour the rinse aid into the dispenser, be careful not to overfill. The rinse aid is released during the final rinse to prevent water from forming droplets on your dishes that can leave spots and streaks. The salt container must be refilled when the salt warning light in the control panel comes on. Clean up any rinse aid split during filling with an absorbent cloth to avoid excess foaming during the next wash. Only use branded rinse aid for dishwasher. Never fill the rinse aid dispenser with any other substances. The rinse aid dispenser has four settings and the dose has been set to the maximum position 4 at the factory. Detergents with its chemical ingredients are necessary to remove dirt, crush dirt and transport it out of the dishwasher. The use of Eco washing programme in conjunction with concentrated detergents reduces pollution and is good for your dishes. Detergent tablets of different brands dissolve at different speeds.
- Page 6: Use long programmes when using detergent tablets to ensure complete removal of detergent residuals. The dispenser must be refilled before the start of each washing cycle following the instructions provided in the Wash Cycle Table. Generally, only one tablespoon of detergent is needed for a normal wash load. Always add the detergent just before starting the dishwasher to ensure proper dissolution. There are three sorts of detergents: with phosphate and with chlorine, with phosphate and without chlorine, and without phosphate and without chloride. If detergents without phosphate are used in hard water, white spots may appear on dishes and glasses. Detergents without chlorine do not bleach strongly, and colored spots may not be completely removed. Dishwasher detergent is corrosive; keep it out of reach of children. Use only detergent specifically made for dishwashers and keep it fresh and dry. If dishes are heavily soiled, place an additional detergent dose in the pre-wash detergent chamber.
- Page 7: Loading the dishwasher baskets requires following specific guidelines for optimal performance. Scrape off large amounts of leftover food; rinsing is not necessary. In the lower basket, items like cups and pots should be placed upside down and securely stacked. Large items that are difficult to clean should be loaded in the lower basket, avoiding blockage of the top spray arm. Very small items should not be washed in the dishwasher to prevent falling out. The upper basket is designed for delicate dishware, such as glasses and small bowls. Position dishes in the upper basket to prevent movement by the spray of water. Folding racks in the lower basket allow for easier placement of larger items. The height of the upper basket can be adjusted to create more space for larger utensils. Long items should be placed on the shelf to avoid obstructing the spray arms.
- Page 8: Cutlery basket Do not put in items that are dirty of cigarette ash, candle wax, lacquer or paint. Cutlery should be placed in the cutlery basket with handles at the bottom. Do not overload your dishwasher. There is only space for 13 standard dishes. Dishes and cutlery must not impede the rotation of the spray arms. Load hollow items such as cups, glasses, pans etc. with the opening downwards. To avoid damage to glasses, they must not touch. Long bladed knives stored in an upright position are a potential hazard. Use glassware or porcelain dishes that have been marked dishwasher-proof by the manufacturer. Do not let any item extend through the bottom. When the working cycle has finished, the buzzer of the dishwasher will ring for 6 times, then stop.
- Page 9: Insert the plug into the socket. The power supply is 220-240V AC 50 Hz. Make sure that the water supply is turned on to full pressure. Press the Program button to select a desired wash cycle. A click could be heard when the door is closed perfectly. When the washing is over, you can shut off the switch by pressing the Power button. A cycle that is underway can only be modified if it has only been running for a short time. If you open the door when washing, the machine pauses and a warning alarm rings. If all the lights begin to glimmer, that indicates the machine is out of order. A forgotten dish can be added any time before the detergent cup opens. The ECO program is suitable to clean normally soiled tableware.
- Page 10: WARNING: Never run the dishwasher without the filters in place. The filter is used to avoid big remnants and other sundries getting inside the pump. The filter system consists of a coarse filter and a micro filter. It is necessary to clean the spray arms regularly as hard water chemicals can clog the jets. Inspect the filters for obstructions every time the dishwasher has been used. To clean the control panel, use a lightly dampened cloth and dry thoroughly. Never use sharp objects, scouring pads, or harsh cleaners on any part of the dishwasher. For best performance, the filter assembly must be cleaned regularly. The entire filter assembly should be cleaned once a week. Never use a spray cleaner to clean the door panel as it could damage the door lock and electrical components.
- Page 11: Position the dishwasher on a level and sturdy floor. If the floor is uneven, the front feet of the appliance may be adjusted until it reaches a horizontal position. After every wash, turn off the water supply to the appliance and leave the door slightly ajar. When going on holiday, it is recommended to run a wash cycle with the dishwasher empty. Connection to the water and electricity supplies should only be performed by a qualified technician. Before cleaning or performing maintenance, always remove the plug from the socket. To clean the exterior and rubber parts of the dishwasher, do not use solvents or abrasive cleaning products. One of the factors that cause odors to form in the dishwasher is food that remains trapped in the seals. Disconnect electrical power before installing the dishwasher. Keep this instruction manual in a safe place for future reference.
- Page 12: Once the appliance has been installed, the power supply cable and the electrical socket should be easily accessible. The followings should be checked before starting the dishwasher: - Whether the dishwasher is level and fixed - Whether the inlet valve is opened - Whether there is leakage at the connections of the conducts - Whether the wires are tightly connected - Whether the power is switched on - Whether the inlet and drain hoses are knotted - All packing materials and printings should be taken out from the dishwasher After installation, please put this manual into the bags of printings. After the appliance has been installed, completely fill the salt dispenser with approximately 2 Kg of salt. When some malfunctions happen, the appliance will display error codes to warn you. Position the appliance in the desired location. The back should rest against the wall behind it. If the sink is 1000mm higher from the floor, the excess water in hoses cannot be drained directly into the sink. If overflow occurs, turn off the main water supply before calling a service. The waste connection must be at a height of between 50cm (minimum) and 100cm (maximum) from the bottom of the dish. Spare parts are available for a minimum period of seven years for professional repairers or a minimum of ten years for professional repairers and end-users.
- Page 13: Before calling for service, reviewing the charts may help you avoid unnecessary calls. Use less detergent if you have soft water and select the shortest cycle to wash glassware effectively. Cloudiness on glassware can be caused by using too much detergent or hard water minerals. To remove stains, use a solution of bleach and warm water by hand. Wait 20 minutes after a cycle to let heating elements cool down before cleaning the interior to avoid burns. If the dishwasher doesn't run, ensure the power supply is connected and the door is securely closed. Check that the water supply is connected properly and turned on if water pressure is low. Use a damp sponge with dishwasher detergent for cleaning the interior, avoiding other cleaners to prevent foaming. Always wipe up rinse agent spills immediately to prevent oversudsing and overflowing. If problems persist, contact a dedicated repairman for assistance.
