Using your dishwasher  
1. Load the dishwasher (see sections above).  
2. Add detergent (see "Filling the detergent  
dispenser").  
3. Add rinse aid, if needed (see "Filling the rinse aid  
dispenser").

Filling the detergent dispenser  
The amount of detergent required depends on the  
cycle selected, the level of soiling on the dishes, and  
the hardness of the water in your area (your local  
Water Authority can advise you on this). Refer to the  
following table for the recommended amount.

Note: The amount of detergent to use depends on the water hardness. Water hardness is measured in grains  
per gallon. You can check the hardness of the water in your area with your local Water Authority.  
Wash cycle selections
